Managing Your Property Viewings
Once your property has been listed online and the viewing requests start to come, in our expert viewings team will be in touch.
We take care of everything so all you have to do is confirm the viewing and show them your house.
Before liaising with you we take the following information to help qualify the viewer so no one wastes your time:
• Name
• Contact number
• Postal add
• Position on the market
• Availability to view
Once qualified we will notify you via text an email with the proposed viewing date and three preferred time slots as requested by the viewer.
Once you are happy and have confirmed the viewing is at a time to suit you, the applicant will be notified and given your full address, date and the time of the viewing.
You then have the chance to sell your property to the viewer while showing them around. Local knowledge can be invaluable when hosting viewings. 53% of buyers prefer to be shown around by the host as they have greater local knowledge than an estate agent and are on hand to answer questions in person.
Although you may have a great knowledge of the local area it could be beneficial to read up on a few things such as local schools and catchment areas, nearest stations for public transport and the routes available, council tax bands and so on. Once you have completed the viewing we will then ask the applicant for feedback to ascertain their thoughts on the property, providing you with pointers as to what you could improve when hosting viewings.
If you would like more information on the viewing process and hosting your own viewings, don’t hesitate to give us a shout at info@mashroom.com or request a call back and we can answer any question you may have.
