Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II

We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on Thursday 8th September 2022.

The Queen began her reign in 1952 and became Britain’s longest serving monarch in history, being a constant figure of our nation for 70 years and 214 days.

Her Majesty was also Head of the Commonwealth nations and her dedication to duty was always apparent, having conducted around 21,000 engagements, Patron to more than 600 charities and visiting over 100 countries during those 70 years. Alongside her duties, The Queen was also a loving mother of four, a grandmother of eight and great grandmother to 12 children.

Throughout her reign, The Queen also worked with a total of 15 Prime Ministers, including prominent figures such as Sir Winston Churchill, Margaret Thatcher and Tony Blair serving as head of government. Liz Truss was the last Prime Minister to meet with Her Majesty just two days before her passing, inviting her to form a government at Balmoral, Scotland.

Queen Elizabeth II has been a remarkable role model, dedicated her life to serving her country and played a major role in shaping the social change of Great Britain. We would like to share our thoughts and condolences with The Royal Family and join the nation in mourning the passing of Her Majesty The Queen.
