Listing live on Wednesday, fully booked with viewers on Thursday, property sold Friday morning for well over home report value. This is a long review however it’s because I have seen the good and bad of estate agents during my selling process so I was able to see the differences. We selected a small local agency, they came highly recommended and were very big on social media which is why we chose them. We had 3 viewers in a month! They made our listing live before the home report was even ready meaning we missed the initial impact that a new listing has. They were sending viewers who had no mortgages in principle. Took over a week from putting our listing up before they added the floor plan. We had barely any contact from them and I was continually calling them for updates. As you can imagine this was a very stressful time and we did not feel like we had the support of the estate agent. Enough was enough and we contacted Slater Hogg as I googled ‘Scotland’s largest estate agent’. I spoke with Stephen Leighton and he provided a lot of reassurance and said this time round things would be done differently. A professional photographer came round and took photos and videos which looked fantastic, then Sam Gibson sent through the proposed listing for checking and it was perfect so we approved it and made the listing live. Either Sam or Finlay Wright from the office would continually keep me updated and book in viewers and within 1 afternoon I had double the viewers I had in a month with the previous agency and our apartment was sold. I honestly can’t recommend Paisley Slater Hogg enough.

Finlay has been assisting myself and my partner get to grips with the industry, which for first time buyers in the current climate has been stressful until now. Finlay from the start has provided clear information on the market and presented us a variety of options moving forward. Delighted with the responsive, professional and friendly staff at Slater Hogg & Howison Paisley. It has a fantastic large shop front to showcase it's properties unlike some other estate agents, so even during closures prospective purchasers can view what's on the market. Combined with it's online presence it offers sellers more chances of success with their sale. I have found the staff to be very proactive and prompt with their communications.

Slater Hogg came highly recommended and didn’t disappoint. My initial contact was with David the surveyor who was obviously very knowledgeable of the local market and provided good advice. Catherine was my main point of contact and she couldn’t have been more helpful. Another plus point is that when you phone the office a friendly human being answers the phone immediately not a robot answering machine. All in all a very efficient and empathetic service that I wouldn’t hesitate to use again.

When leaving the property, we sent an email informing that the property was empty, and despite two attempts to follow up, heard nothing from the letting agent for the following 28 days. When they finally did get in touch with us (after another attempt by us to reach out), we were told that cleaning had been arranged at our expense, without asking us, (and, incidentally, that the property had been undergoing renovations while we were still paying rent, I've no idea if that's normal). When we attempted to question the cleaning charge, we were informed that if we did so, they would not be willing to end the tenancy early, and would seek an extra £400+ in rent from our deposit in addition to the cleaning. At this point we gave up the argument and agreed to pay for cleaning that we did not believe was necessary. I would never let a property that was managed by this agent again. Oh, and while we were still discussing the deposit return I was asked to delete a previous version of this review.

Estate agents get a bad name, but my dealings with LM Properties couldn't have been any better. Lysney and Robert were excellent when helping me with an urgent matter. I wouldn't hesitate to use them or recommend them.

I rented a flat with LM Properties for almost 2 years and they were fantastic. Craig and the rest of the team were very helpful, quick to respond to any issues regarding the flat and are the first agency I've used that I would feel 100% comfortable to allow them access to carry out inspections if i wasn't home. Rented a property off Tariq Told him of previous issues with last landlord not carrying repairs out was promised all repairs would be carried out in a fashionable mannor which was not the case. The property he rented me had pipes leaking down to the neighbor underneath, he sent his cowboy joiner out to saw up my living room/kitchen floor to access and fix the pipes with the promise the floor would be repaired my living room floor was then duck taped back together with no word of when it would be repaired this was duct taped for six months, that was just the start of the problems, my bedroom and living room had dampness in the walls which he continued to argue was condensation, there was mould on windowsills ect.. The next issue was a RAT inside my flat!! IIt chewed threw skirting boards and made its way into the property when I phoned to inform Tariq I was told it couldn't be he would be up to see, forward to three weeks later I had already contacted environmental health etc Myself with no regards from fairlet, was also informed the close cellars had an infestation. my partner had also killed and disposed of the rat himself with still no sign of Tariq, eventually he appears weeks later with a large male for intimidation tactics, he proceeded to tell me there couldnt be a rat ect when shown the evidence (rat hole, photo of dead rat) he finally accepted the issue with no sort of apology or any word of action to prevent it happening again save yourself a lot of wasted money and time on this business!

this guy Tariq is an out and out SLUM landlord. His properties are unfit for neither Dog nor Human Habitation. Once I figure out how to get him struck off believe you me I will. Infestation and dampness is mandatory so avoid for your healths sake.

Thee worst landlord about dont ever fall for his lies and move into one of his run down shells of a house. He will promice you the earth untill your deposit is in his hand. He will also keep that deposit and claim it was rent in advance. If you call him to get any kind of repairs done you will need to wait 7 months at a time and when you finally get a hold of him he will threaten to kick your head in and evict you from the shack he claims is a house. Tldr: DONT EVER LET FROM FAIRLET ITS SHAM COMPANY. MO EY GRABBING PLEB!!!!!!

Always had great service from tariq .. any repairs needing done always got done and he is a busy man with lots of properties to look after a little bit of patience goes a long way .. also every tenancy i have rented from him has been great the reason I have had to leave is down to the actual landlord not tariq and to another reason I had to leave was because i was stuck in a rough area and coukdnt tqake the chaos anynore ... great service and communication overall !!! *****

Worst agency ever. So unprofessional.

I would say quite overpriced for the level of work carried out(purchase of land), v high charges for phone calls/emails etc, Few careless admin mistakes along the way, slow to respond. However we got there in the end with the assistance of a family member and another other lawyer firm.

I was hoping to buy a house 🏠 in the local area. I paid for the deposit and Kingsley Wood was good 👍 to me and did all the paperwork. I decided not to move on that occasion as the house was to far away from my family. Will definitely use them again in the future.

I cannot rate this agent highly enough. Ann Marie spent time with myself and elderly parents. She took time to explain the buying process. Pamela and Samantha were very pleasant each time I came into the office. Ann Marie will be sorely missed

I've dealt with several estate agents in the area recently and Kingsley Wood in Bridge of Weir are by far the best. Personal service, attention to detail and responsiveness are clearly important to them and they do all of that and more. Friendly office with excellent staff. They excelled in helping us secure our current rental. As a landlord I manage my own property but if I was to use an agency in the future it would be this one. Thanks to Pamela and the staff.

Very poor customer service. I had rented a property through them for three years and as soon as a problem arose in the flat, they didn't take any action to rectify it. However, blamed us for not fixing the mess ourselves. Spoke to the manager at the branch who was the least helpful person and ignored every complaint. They were taking money from the landlord for the issue but not using it to rectify the problems. Would never recommend to go through them.

Doesn't like gay couples as tenants

Chattelle Estates have managed my properties for over ten years now and I have found them to be professional and honest. Sometimes they are caught in the middle of difficult situations where the landlord has to take responsibility. Their advice going through these situations has been invaluable.

The customer service team is second to none and they always provide great advice. Highly recommend them!

Never left a negative review in my life, but I've also never been literally ghosted by a letting agent. Terrible service.
