The staff at Western Lettings are exceptional in every way. Throughout my time with Western Lettings, the staff have gone out of their way to support me - it is abundantly clear that for the staff at Western Lettings, this is more than a job... they have genuinely cared for me, and nothing has ever been too much trouble. Throughout this time, letting my house has been stress-free - Western Lettings' communication has been excellent, always keeping me in touch, and they have resolved any issues arising quickly, efficiently and professionally. If you are looking for someone to manage your property, I would encourage you to look no further than Western Lettings and their wonderful staff. Rented a property with Western for over a year and was by far best experience I have had with a letting agency. Any issues in the property were dealt with quickly and the staff were super friendly and accommodating. Rented with quite a few different agencies in the past and the service Western provided is easily the best.

Western Lettings were always very professional and helpful, particularly as I was moving in March 2020 just as everything was locking down. Staff were always responsive and helpful throughout my 12 month tenancy. The only negative thing was the inventory I was provided with as it said everything was perfect with the property and it took me a lot of time to take photos and upload them of things that weren’t perfect (marks on walls etc). Overall, I would highly recommend.

If you are a potential tenant looking into renting from Tay Lettings, beware - DO NOT work with this firm! They will overcharge you for any service (e.g. they have done this for a cleaning service that was absolutely unnecessary - they will take photos of small amounts of dirt accumulating on window frame corners just to overcharge you for the cleaning of the entire house for no reason. What's more worrying is that they failed to provide an official receipt months after this incident - so it is unclear how they spent the money they charged us), taking advantage of you! They will stop responding if you ask them for proof. Their customer service is absolutely rubbish once they have you on the hook (i.e. you have signed the agreement). Stay away, go with other firms!

Great letting agents with fantastic properties and good communication. Only gripe would be that they often charge lots for cleaning and repainting fees but that comes with their professionalism.

Overall my experience with Tay letting has been very positive. Communication has been very good and any issues reported have been dealt in a very timely manner. Laura McAvoy has been a particular highlight as she has been at the forefront and helped us out when we were experiencing nuisance neighbours. I would recommend Tay letting.

I would certainly recommend Tay Letting as a letting agent - and my review is a reflection of the service provided by Angus Cameron and Laura McAvoy in particular. The move in / move out (both into my first, and from my first to my second Tay Letting property) literally could not have been easier thanks to Angus, and Laura is a wonderful letting agent. She responds immediately to any concerns or queries I have and ensures that if there is an issue that requires any work done, that this is carried out as soon as possible. She is extremely attentive and she has made my time renting with Tay Letting utterly stress-free and that much more enjoyable!
