Mashroom
21 Navigation Business Village Navigation Way, Preston, Lancashire, North West, England, PR2 2YP
Listed and Rented out in less than 6 hours! Well done Mashroom. Excellent service provided by Mashroom, good clear dashboard for managing appointments and subsequent offers!! I would never use a High Street Estate Agency to market for me again. I look forward to using Mashroom in the future.
Amazing customer service, couldn’t believe it was free! Debbie was amazing every step of the way making a very daunting process much less stressful. Would recommend to anyone over an estate agent and still astonished I’ve not had to pay any fees for all of her help!
User-friendly, great future-proof platform. Easy to use and upload properties. The dashboard allows straight forward communication with guests. Really helpful members of the team who were always available to answer questions re: using Mashroom.
A unique and time saving innovation. Thank you Mashroom. Refreshing and user friendly. So much easier than the traditional process. Being able to speak to the landlords direct and building a relationship of trust early on I found to be hugely beneficial. At last, a unique and time saving innovation.
Mashroom was recommended to me and I’d gladly recommend them to anyone. From the first interaction with Mashroom I knew I'd chosen the right people to help me let my flat. Within one week of advertising it, I had two offers, even one offering more than I was asking for. I never thought an end-to-end process of 15 days would be possible...

Regent Property
Broadwall House, 21 Broadwall, London, City of Glasgow, Scotland, Scotland, G1 4EQ
Avoid for tenants and landlords at all costs. Rented a property but the problems began when we moved it. Inventory was slap dash and clearly a copy and paste of an old inventory. Items that were no where to be seen were included along with basically everything listed as good condition despite things being clearly broken ( a headboard for a bed had a leg snapped off and apparently that passes as good condition). We went back and forward and asked for things to be updated and sent pictures and detailed notes through. They kept re-sending the exact same agreement with none of the changes. Eventually they stopped responding and we gave up in February (we moved in the previous November). Of course, at the end of the tenancy after professionally cleaning everything and leaving it in a better condition than we found it they wanted money for everything. Even asking for money for things that were not there when we moved in or listed as broken on the inventory report. We disputed the claim and on the grounds that we never signed an inventory report they got absolutely nothing. A warning for tenants to avoid but landlords to give these clowns a miss too. They are extremely unresponsive and unprofessional and whilst we did not damage the property or any contents, had we done so Regent would have been unable to recover any money to compensate the landlords. All because they couldn't reply to an email and get an inventory report updated that we could sign... Avoid!
Everything went great. Owen was very kind and helped me in every problem in seconds. He answered all my questions in a detailed way I like their style of working, everyone was very friendly and helpful.
I have been a client for some time with Regent. They have had their ups & downs in service level, however the overall experience has been much better than two other agents who manage my other properties. I will be moving the remainder of my portfolio over to them in the near future. Special thanks to Owen Cooper for his ongoing support, very reliable & easy to get in touch with.
Allison and her colleagues were instrumental in the successful sale of my property during this difficult period. Especially Allison, who was amazingly responsive and responsible to resolve the many obstacles along the way to completion. I appreciate the professionalism amongst the staff of Regent Property and have benefited from their expert property management services for more than a decade!
We have been delighted to be helped by Nith. It was our first time renting with an agency which could’ve stressful but he made the process easy and efficient. Any questions we asked he answered quickly. Amazing customer service! It is a very good element of your agency. I would recommend him to any further people looking to rent a place with Regent agency. Western Lettings Ltd
Craighall Business Park, Suite 5, Platinum House, 23 Eagle St, Glasgow, City of Glasgow, Scotland, Scotland, G4 9XA
I have been with Western Lettings for 3 years as a landlord - and I want to share my very highest recommendation for them. If I could give more than 5* I would. The staff at Western Lettings are exceptional in every way. Throughout my time with Western Lettings, the staff have gone out of their way to support me - it is abundantly clear that for the staff at Western Lettings, this is more than a job... they have genuinely cared for me, and nothing has ever been too much trouble. Throughout this time, letting my house has been stress-free - Western Lettings' communication has been excellent, always keeping me in touch, and they have resolved any issues arising quickly, efficiently and professionally. If you are looking for someone to manage your property, I would encourage you to look no further than Western Lettings and their wonderful staff. Thank you to all at Western Lettings for making my experience such a positive one. It has been a pleasure dealing with you at every turn - from setting up the let, to finding suitable tenants, to managing the property, to ensuring a good handover at the end of tenancy. Hugely appreciated.
Rented a property with Western for over a year and was by far best experience I have had with a letting agency. Any issues in the property were dealt with quickly and the staff were super friendly and accommodating. Rented with quite a few different agencies in the past and the service Western provided is easily the best.
Western Lettings were always very professional and helpful, particularly as I was moving in March 2020 just as everything was locking down. Staff were always responsive and helpful throughout my 12 month tenancy. The only negative thing was the inventory I was provided with as it said everything was perfect with the property and it took me a lot of time to take photos and upload them of things that weren’t perfect (marks on walls etc). Overall, I would highly recommend.
Western Lettings have been absolutely exceptional from day 1. Having relocated to Glasgow, they have been incredibly accommodating towards all of my needs and an absolute pleasure to communicate with. They continue to deliver services that are 2nd to none - and I have zero hesitation in recommending them towards anyone looking to find rental properties in Glasgow.
Leased a flat with Western Lettings for about a year and half. Extremely happy with the professional manner, and personable demeanor of all the staff; always a pleasure to communicate with. The agency work as a team with a single contact email that picks up every communication with any concerns or issues dealt with promptness and excellent communication. Been renting for years and Western Letting has topped the list. I highly recommend the agency, and hope to avail their services in the future. Thanks to everyone at Western Letting.

Tay Letting Ltd
Craighall Business Park, 8 Eagle St, Glasgow, City of Glasgow, Scotland, Scotland, G4 9XA
If you are a potential tenant looking into renting from Tay Lettings, beware - DO NOT work with this firm! They will overcharge you for any service (e.g. they have done this for a cleaning service that was absolutely unnecessary - they will take photos of small amounts of dirt accumulating on window frame corners just to overcharge you for the cleaning of the entire house for no reason. What's more worrying is that they failed to provide an official receipt months after this incident - so it is unclear how they spent the money they charged us), taking advantage of you! They will stop responding if you ask them for proof. Their customer service is absolutely rubbish once they have you on the hook (i.e. you have signed the agreement). Stay away, go with other firms!
Great letting agents with fantastic properties and good communication. Only gripe would be that they often charge lots for cleaning and repainting fees but that comes with their professionalism.
Overall my experience with Tay letting has been very positive. Communication has been very good and any issues reported have been dealt in a very timely manner. Laura McAvoy has been a particular highlight as she has been at the forefront and helped us out when we were experiencing nuisance neighbours. I would recommend Tay letting.
Overall service from Tay letting has been very good. Any issues we have had were dealt with courtesy and professionalism, would certainly recommend.
I would certainly recommend Tay Letting as a letting agent - and my review is a reflection of the service provided by Angus Cameron and Laura McAvoy in particular. The move in / move out (both into my first, and from my first to my second Tay Letting property) literally could not have been easier thanks to Angus, and Laura is a wonderful letting agent. She responds immediately to any concerns or queries I have and ensures that if there is an issue that requires any work done, that this is carried out as soon as possible. She is extremely attentive and she has made my time renting with Tay Letting utterly stress-free and that much more enjoyable!

Countrywide Scotland - Glasgow West End Lettings
107-111 Byres Rd, West End, Glasgow, City of Glasgow, Scotland, Scotland, G11 5HW
I found Countrywide on Byres Road were excellent. My property sold very quickly and the girls in the office were very professional and efficient for the viewing times and letting me know what was happening at all stages. Gavin was fantastic at taking pictures of my flat and put everything together in a matter of days, the schedule looked great and the advice he gave me on selling made the process very smooth. I would definitely use them again.
I would highly recommend this company to anyone selling a property they were so professional. Their agent Gavin Dillon was extremely helpful in advising me how to make the property look it's best for the photographs and video. The girls in the office were great at keeping me up to date with all the interest in the property and all the legal paper work. The property sold within two weeks start to finish. Thanks again.
They do a great service for me as a landlady, very helpful, responsive and professional. I recently worked with Louise, who quickly sourced and referenced my new tenant and was available quickly and politely for lots of queries along the way. Overall, they are a great support and service. Repairs can take a wee bit longer than I would like, but this isn’t always within their control.
Have recently dealt with Louise who helped us secure our ideal home. Louise responded quickly and professionally and answered all our questions in a timely manner. She was extremely helpful and attentive to our needs throughout the process. I've dealt with a few other agencies and was left feeling let down by them all, so it was a tremendous relief when I contacted Louise and the whole process appeared to be effortless. I would highly recommend dealing with Louise. She sets the standard that others aspire to.
We were selling our property and had several estate agents out in a short period of time. Gavin from countrywide was the last one of the day and we were going to make a quick phone call to cancel. Simply could not be happier that we didn't make that call. Gavin was honest, professional and particularly pleasant to deal with. He gave us an idea of what to expect and in what kind of time frame the current market was moving. We were then passed to Kirstin, Megan and Julie in the office who kept us constantly up to date and in the loop with viewings and interest and feedback. We couldn't recommend the team at Countrywide highly enough as it was simply a case of handing over a set of keys and the property was taken off our hands and sold quicker than what we had anticipated. Stress and hassle free and a pleasure to deal with, thank you guys.

Countrywide Scotland - Glasgow Lettings
71 Candleriggs, Glasgow, City of Glasgow, Scotland, Scotland, G1 1NP
Some very rude staff and I would not recommend for letting/renting. An agent gave 20 minutes notice to arrange viewing of flat and when they didn't receive a response in this time went on to let themselves into the flat without my permission, which is illegal according to the Housing Act 1988. Edit: I had already emailed before you replied to my review but that didn't do anything
The letting agent Nadia Scott is extremely professional and reliable. She is responsive and would go out of the way to ensure her services are top notched. Would definitely recommend using her company. Thank you Nadia and I look forward to working with you long term.
From the very start Rachel at Countywide was so professional and had such a positive attitude. She helped us through the entire process and sold our flat in less than a week. The lawyers, photographer, surveyors that they recommend are also fantastic. I can't recommend countrywide highly enough, stress free and they are very upfront with costs (no hidden ones). Far far better than the online roaming estate agents out there.
Very friendly staff. Spoken to a girl today and she answered all my questions I had about me wanting to rent in the near future. She made me feel at ease and explained everything very well. I had explained I wanted to rent but I was nervous and I felt like I was completely understood! I will definitely be going to this branch when I decide to rent my first ever property.
The team of Countrywide Scotland was great. In particular Lucy was really helpful during the procedure to rent our flat. Was easy to contact her and if there was an issue, a quick phone call was enough to resolve it. Always available and friendly. I would highly recommend using their services.

Slater Hogg & Howison - Glasgow West End Lettings
146 Byres Rd, West End, Glasgow, City of Glasgow, Scotland, Scotland, G12 8TD
Slater Hogg handled the sale of a house for an elderly relative going into a care home. This was made more awkward by the fact that I do not live in Scotland. Due to issues with the buyers the sale fell though twice. Slater Hogg took all of this in their stride and worked quickly and efficiently towards generating enough interest to allow a new closing date to be set. Successfully sold the house at the third attempt.
Laura has been professional, approachable and friendly to deal with since we first viewed our new flat. She has been swift to answer any questions we have had, and we have felt that the whole process has been handled smoothly. A point to improve on for Slater Hogg & Howison would be getting the inventory list out to us sooner - we only had a couple of hours to review this before key collection, hence were unable to query the points noted. This should however not detract from the move-in being an thoroughly enjoyable experience- thanks Laura!
I recently sold my flat with these guys and have to say I was very happy with the service. Everyone that I spoke to was helpful and knowledgeable. They set out a sales strategy and adapted based on the response from viewer. Lisa was amazing once an offer came in, I was kept up to date with where the buyer was at in regards to finance and we were able to set an entry date upon completion of missives. Very happy with the service throughout the sales process and would use Slater Hogg again.
Angela Wright was quick, knowledgeable and efficient. I would highly recommend her if you are looking for a personal touch and rapid response. 5 stars for value and service! Also big thanks to Mitra, Elaine and the rest of the staff for all their help - what a fab team.
This is the second property sale we have concluded with Slater Hogg & Howison in Glasgow’s West End and we have been really pleased with the service - in particular that of Angela Wright, the manager. Angela is totally professional and her communication skills are second to none, keeping us informed at every stage of the process. Buying and selling a property can be very stressful, but we were totally confident in her advice and judgement which greatly diminished our stress levels! We would definitely recommend Angela and her team in the West End Office.

Edzell Property Management
1008 Pollokshaws Rd, Glasgow, City of Glasgow, Scotland, Scotland, G41 2HG
Turned up for a flat viewing. No one on their side turned up. I've also noticed on other ads from Edzell that they're using the same photos. Seen the photos for their Albert Road flat on about 3 other adverts. Then today I saw the Albert Road property back online, but now it's different pictures. Dodgy company and complete time wasters.
I once rented a flat from Edzell on Ferry Road, and more recently I've rented flats elsewhere in the west end with their tenants adjacent. In both cases where I lived, Edzell installed tenants who engaged in flagrant and persistant anti social behaviour - often to the extent that police had to be called out in the early hours of the morning. My written and verbal complaints to Edzell were completely ignored. Edzell let their properties out, rake in the cash, and take absolutely no responsibility for their tenants' behaviour. A repeated pattern. In my experience, their attitude to maintenance, repairs and replacements is similarly irresponsible and incompetent - as several other reviews on here testify. Simply put, one of the worst landlords in Glasgow. *Edit* - Landlords/property managers are legally obligated to address anti social behaviour of their tenants. A quick online search of the legislation confirms that. It's typical of the narcissism of Edzell that they blatantly try to absolve themselves of responsibility for this or their other failings which, in my case, led to numerous sleepless nights and calls to the police. Although that should serve as a further word of caution to anyone considering doing business with them.
I lived in a flat in Glasgow in 1856 managed by Edzell. I was there for 3 years with little or no problems. Times were tough but they were made easier with the knowledge that my landlords were caring and thoughtful. My life changed when the owner of Edzell introduced me to Mr Benjamin Rowntree. Mr Rowntree was looking for specialists in the Cocoa industry. As it happened, I was a big fan of chocolate and I told him this. Mr Rowntree offered me a job and as they say, the rest is history. Edzell let me out of my lease with no penalty and I received my full deposit back. Edzell Property Management made my life better. Thank you!
I remember it like it was yesterday. The first International football match between Scotland and England. The weather was terrible. The snow was falling and the air had an icy chill but the atmosphere was electric with anticipation. The entry price was 1 shilling but as I was skint at the time I couldn't pay to get in. I did however have an amazing view of the pitch from my bedroom window in the amazing flat which I rented from Edzell Property Management. When the agent told me that I would be able to see the sports events taking place I didn't believe him. He was right and I am not ashamed to admit when I am wrong. The view was fantastic and despite the cold outside, I was warm and dry in my flat. The final score was 0-0 which as it turns out was a good result for us taking into account every game we had in the years afterwards. Thank you Edzell.
I don't know why there are bad reviews online about this company. We have had nothing but perfect service from them. If you have a good experience here then you should leave a review because they are genuine honest letting agents. I can understand if the landlord of a flat doesn't fix a boiler then you would blame the letting agent but it is not their fault it is the landlord. The staff are so friendly and down to earth. This company is a breath of fresh air compared to the big corporate agents that there are in Glasgow.

Slater Hogg & Howison - Candleriggs Lettings
123 Candleriggs, Glasgow, City of Glasgow, Scotland, Scotland, G1 1NP
Excellent service from Fergus, Elaine and Hannah. The team made the sale of my property as efficient and stress free as possible during lockdown. Highly recommend.
Very happy with Slater Hogg & Howison. From my initial phonecall to enquire about renting the property, which was to the wrong department, right through to getting my keys, they were so helpful, (particularly Kirsten). Any queries I had were responded to quickly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
Fantastic and professional. Thank you Emma, Kirsten and Heather at the Candleriggs branch for giving me invaluable advise and successfully rented out my flat during this very difficult and challenging time of lock down.
The letting team at Slaterhogg Candleriggs are second to none. Kirsten, Emma and Heather are all professional, knowledgeable, friendly and extremely helpful. They have a wealth of knowledge and experience in what they do. They are conscientious and it is obvious that they genuinely care about their customers and they always do the best they can for them. They take pride in their work and provide a first class service.
Great team at Candleriggs managing the sales & marketing of my property recently, despite the added challenges of lockdown & managing viewings etc safely. Very professional & great communication from start to legal completion. Provided helpful advice & feedback without being too pushy, a difficult balance to achieve. Highly professional team from Valentina on reception to Fergus, Elaine & Bobby who all helped make what could have been a stressful time go as smoothly as possible. Thank you!

Slater Hogg & Howison - Shawlands Lettings
255-257 Kilmarnock Rd, Shawlands, Glasgow, City of Glasgow, Scotland, Scotland, G41 3JF
Over the years we have been fortunate enough through various sales and purchases to have enjoyed the friendly courteous and professional service provided by Ellenor and her team in the Shawlands branch. As a long established agency their knowledge of the market is second to none and their, understanding of their clients needs and aspirations has always been really appreciated by us with their respectful manner during our communications and relevant good advice through all steps of the process has always been reassuring. We would no hesitation recommending them to our friends and family and anyone contemplating a move to put it in their safe hands as we know you will be well looked after.
I always use Slater Hogg for my developments. There may be slightly cheaper agents out there but the service they provide is second to none. The staff are all very friendly and approachable whilst still being extremely professional. Brooke in particular has always been a total star! Oh and Mark!! Been using them for years and will continue to do so. Highly recommend.😊
Slater Hogg were one of three estate agents that I arranged to value my two flats and I had what felt like a difficult choice in deciding who I would go with to market them. I'm very pleased with the decision I made to go with SH. I had initially felt that Mark was overplaying the valuations but had confidence that they knew the local market and would achieve the best price and they did not disappoint. Not only were both my flats sold quickly but they also met the valuation. Additionally, dealing with them has been a pleasure at every stage but I feel that Brooke in the office deserves a particular mention for keeping me regularly updated and making the whole process easy and stress-free. Thank you Slater Hogg in Shawlands!
Selling your own property can be one of the most stressful times of your life. I cannot recommend the Shawlands team at Slater Hogg more highly. They are all so professional, understanding and highly efficient. Mark had my property on the market within days of our meeting, with high quality video and photos. Having Ellenor as my one contact was very reassuring. Communications and responsiveness was great and she put me at ease when I needed it. This was a personal sale but I have have been in the property game for 21 years in buy to let and dealt with many estate agents in that time, Slater Hogg impressed me more than any others. May
Brilliant experience using Slater Hogg and Howison, Shawlands. Very professional & hassle free service. Sharon & Stephanie could not have been more helpful and took care of everything very promptly, guided me through the process ensuring that all my required documents for renting were in place and up to date. Flat marketed for rent, video posted and within the first 5 minutes I had 2 offers. If you want a hassle free, professional service with a satisfactory outcome I would highly Slater Hogg and Howison, Shawlands branch to take of all your needs.

Malhotra & Partners
456 Cathcart Rd, Glasgow, City of Glasgow, Scotland, Scotland, G42 7BY
Raj and Arti are brilliant and extremely helpful. They listen to the clients and provide them the best suited options. They have been my letting agents for over 5 years now and I couldn't have asked for a better support from them. Any issues/concerns are addressed right away and they do go extra mile to provide best possible support.
I have had a fantastic experience renting with M&P, they have been extremely helpful and professional throughout the whole process and I would highly recommend them.
I rented a property in Partick from Malhotra & Partners for just under 2 years. I couldn't speak highly enough about them. I first contacted Arti who was able to find an ideal flat for me. The process was quick and thorough. Any issues I had during my tenancy were sorted quickly and without any undue hassle. Great service all round!
Malhotra & Partners are a great agency. I was tenant in two properties with them over 3 years in Glasgow and from day one they were very professionals, helpul and attentive. Always easy to contact by phone or email. Arti and David are very easygoing, it was always a pleasure speak with them. I would strongly recommend this agency to anyone looking for a flat to rent.
Myself and my partner lived in a flat that was managed by Malhotra & Partners for over 3 years and can honestly say we could not have asked for a better landlord. David was brilliant with initially showing us around the flat and Arti was always more than happy to help us when the rare issue arose. We would both highly recommend using Malhotra & Partners for anyone looking to rent a property!

Zone Letting Glasgow
33 Lynedoch St, Glasgow, City of Glasgow, Scotland, Scotland, G3 6AA
Attempts to steal the deposit for very petty reason, really rude and unprofessional staff. When we opened the case on safe deposit Scotland they waited until the last second to disagree, wasting around 40 days of our time, as my friend said there was no other reason for it than spite. While living in property asking them to repair stuff was also pointless as it never happened, but they are first to take the money. Avoid
This company is so unprofessional, when i was living at there property, nothing was dealt with, consistent emails were sent to resolve issues, mainly mould in the property and broken windows, nothing was rectified. Avoid at all Costs they will take you for a ride and make you sign so many papers, as if its a Mortgage what a joke of a Company.
Zone agency is very professional and best agency for flat rents in Glasgow. The staff is very helpful and caring.
Review from Tenant: To be honest when I was viewing the flat I didn't get a good vibe from the property agent. He was rather rude to all viewers. However over the last four years of tenancy, Zone Letting was extremely professional and responsive. Any issue raised was dealt with in a short time. I worked away most of the time, so the agency was a great help in passing the key to contractors. Great service.
Zone letting are an absolute pleasure to deal with as tenants. Very quick at dealing with issues, next day for most of our maintenance issues even during COVID scenario! :) The staff are lovely, informative and professional. If we could have stayed with zone letting, we would have. By far the best and most professional letting agents we have used. 10/10 would recommend as a tenant.

Aberdein Considine - Glasgow South
251 Kilmarnock Rd, Shawlands, Glasgow, City of Glasgow, Scotland, Scotland, G41 3JF
A massive let down, we put down an offer for a house which was accepted, all mortgage paperwork was started and we had a meeting scheduled with a bank. The senior property adviser in charge, on the very next working day, started demanding a mortgage certificate for this particular property immediately, stating that there was "additional interest" and that the property will go to a closing date, knowing that getting a mortgage certificate is not a next day thing, especially with a non-standard construction. Completely unprofessional behaviour. Would not deal with them again and will discourage all my friends, as apparently an acceptance of an offer means nothing to them if someone else comes along.
We have been very pleased with very professional and comprehensive service provided by the Shawlands team of Aberdein Considine and have no hesitation in recommending them to all. They helped us to buy our new house and offered guidance on market conditions. Similar help was on hand when it came to the sale of our old house, with lovely photos for the online offering, which was part of a reasonably priced advertising offer. They also conducted all the viewings as part of this, at all odd sorts of times. The house sold very quickly. There was delight all round. We did have to wait for the buyers' paperwork but AC helped this along and they also helped with sorting out the tax involved in our particular circumstances. The solicitor kept us informed at all stages and it was a pleasure to deal with him. I hope he will help us in our next purchase, whenever that might be. Five stars seem insufficient. They are a great team.
We found Aberdein Considine to be excellent to deal with. Very professional, responsive to queries and helpful throughout the process of selling our properties. Special mention for Jennifer Bryce and Douglas Telfer, they took away a lot of the stress associated with selling. We have already recommended Aberdein Considine to others and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.
Aberdein Considine recently assisted in the sale of our property. The service was professional. The advice given was sound and in our best interests. They were able to help drive the best price for our house. Additionally their back office service is second to none. Alison in particular was proactive in her approach, always ensuring we were comfortable and kept up to date on the process. Strong recommendation.
We couldn’t be happier with the service Douglas and the team provided. This is the second property we have purchased with Aberdein Consedine and they are consummate professionals with an eagle eye for detail. But more than that, we’ve received great advice and oodles of reassurance throughout. Douglas in particular has helped make the stressful process of buying and selling our home not very stressful at all

Grant Property (Glasgow / Paisley)
685 Great Western Rd, Glasgow, City of Glasgow, Scotland, Scotland, G12 8RA
It's been a few months since I have left the flat that I had rented through grant property, but I felt it right that I share my experience during that time. Though I absolutely loved the flat at first, my issues with grant property started as soon as the issues with the flat did. Off the bat the washing machine did not work, though this was in part due to the fact that the water was turned off and we had not been told, most likely leading to why the machine broke, as the electrics messed up. However it took over a month for the replacement of the machine to happen, which during a pandemic was a big issue as I couldn't just go to a friend's to use theirs, meaning my friend and I had to spend money on going to a laundrette, which was less than ideal. The big problem however started when I noted damp appearing on my ceiling, though small at first, I nonetheless notified our property manager, making him aware of the issue. Some time passed and the mark got worse, eventually developing into a fairly large size. During this time I kept grant property continually up to date, asking for help on trying to sort this. At no point did I feel any urgency from them to address the issue, which I believe had started to contribute in part to the worsening of my health. Late November the damage to the ceiling was heavy and a crack appeared, at this point I was certain the ceiling was soon to collapse, though again felt as though no urgency came from grant property to help me out, by means of telling me to be careful or putting any heavy effort into fixing the issue. Though I understand they had difficulties on their end, and they had to contact a number of people to sort the issue, I never felt like they cared. I was always having to chase up, repeating the same story and hearing the same response. I had to sleep in the lounge for a while which was not ideal, in fear of the ceiling collapsing, which it eventually did. Thankfully I had moved belongings and stayed away, so nothing was badly damaged. My main issue here was that no one ever apologised for the lacklustre response, nor did they respond after the deposit (which had charges included, despite what had happened and us spending a day cleaning the entire place) to my follow up about a suggestion that had been made to me, by grant, for possible compensation. It really saddens me because I loved the flat, but I fear that if I ever had issues again, I would have to face the same awful handling of the issues that I did in this case.
Been left in the dark over 3 months, no one replies, no one follows up repairs, even their feedback service will ignore your pleas for help. Zero customer service, sad because they seemed like a good outfit on first impressions. Revolving door of staff appears to be the main issue, no accountability or handovers being done. Hopefully they can redeem themselves but I don't see it, especially when you look at their allagents reviews.
AVOID RENTING FROM GRANT PROPERTY AT ALL COSTS. I would have rated 0 stars if that was an option. Absolutely horrendous letting agent company that treat students like mugs. I say this for a number of reasons. 1) I rented a property from them and the roof in my bedroom leaked substantially. Their own handbook said urgent leaks would be seen to within 24-48 hours, they left the room stinking of damp and mould for over 3 weeks and suggested I sleep in the living room on a couch for these 3 weeks. I was given a measly £50 compensation from the landlord and a dehumidifier- bear in mind I was still paying £400 per month to have no access to a clean and safe bedroom to sleep in. See photos attached for the extent. Funnily enough they did a quick patch up job once I'd made my intention to leave the property clear. The property manager appeared incapable of making any decisions or communicating clearly. Likewise, in my opinion Andrew Hutton, Director of Property Management, was very condescending in any communication I had with him and appeared not to care one bit. 2) It took me four emails to finally get a response from the person responsible for returning the deposit to process it. They were quick enough to charge a holding fee (which they conveniently added to the deposit for the property as holding fees are illegal in Scotland), deposit and rent as quick as they could, but returning money was clearly not an urgent enough task for their team. If you are a student seeking to rent with Grant Property - do not bother. Worst experience with letting agents I have ever had and if you read other reviews they will tell you the same. I moved out my property in October and just had the deposit return processed later than the 30 working day timescale they communicated to me. Overall, Grant Property are chancers who think a law student does not understand the repairing standard or their tenancy rights - AVOID AT ALL COSTS! My new letting agent is absolutely fantastic in comparison to Grant Property (who I'd label as "cowboys").
Jennifer was very helpful for me and my friends. Despite current circumstances with Covid-19 they were able to arrange a live viewing of the property for us through a Zoom call and Jennifer was very professional and helpful with the questions we had. Definitely recommend to other students looking to rent a property through this agent - great service!
Look, very nice refurbished flats, they look like ones ones the pictures. Not enough storage in their flats. I live on Torness Street please know there is a pest issue in my flat, when I told them about the issue regarding the rodents, they asked to call the council, council rodents department was not working due to the COVID so a handy man came and informed me there was a huge hole under my kitchen when Grant did work, didn't close it. The issue didn't stop there the rodents came through other place, they called this Rodents company that wasn't even good, didn't have a website and their google page said they were permanently closed... despite "professionals" having come to my one bedroom flat there is still issues. They look at their pockets a lot, the flats are overpriced and try to save money as much as possible. Will definitely update this in a month when I leave regarding their approach on the deposit.

Parker Property Consultancy
115 Henderland Rd, Bearsden, Glasgow, City of Glasgow, Scotland, Scotland, G61 1JB
I had two experiences with two different flats manged by this agent (Parker Property). Unfortunately, I recommend every one who renting property from this agent to be very careful and take pictures in the first day in the property because they are not saying the truth when you move out. When you deal with this agent, please take care! Reply to your comment: I don't ask you to clear anything and I got all my own money by the law. Regarding why I took another flat from the same agent as the first flat sold, the only reason is I like the area and neighbours. Also I don't know about this behaviour until I moved in to the second flat. I highly recommend anyone dealing with this agent to use his camera (please ignore the agent photos, just protect yourself). Because I have many photos and witnesses when I moved in, this agent try to take some money from my deposit, but when they know about my photos, the Safe Deposit Scotland refuse to give them any single penny and I got all my full deposit back form the Safe Deposit Scotland (not from the agent). Again, I recommend every one who renting property from this agent to be very careful and take pictures in the first day in the property and also in the end of tenancy.
I’m sure they’re lovely people and given the current situation it must be stressful. Although when I was enquiring about a property to rent. I found them not very helpful or informative, then never heard off them again. Slightly disappointed as it’s a tough time for all and I would of appreciated any advice.
I’ve lived in a flat managed by Parker Property for over a year and have no complaints up to now. The flat viewing and letting process was great. I encountered no issues. Whenever I have needed something fixed, they have been very quick to reply and sent someone to help. Overall I am very happy with the experience.
Parker Property was an absolute dream of a letting agency. For about 2 years I lived renting this lovely flat in an old building near Glasgow city centre. Very polite and straightforward and if anything broke they were very helpful and quick with getting back to me and they'd always discuss things with me and keep me informed. I would definitely rent from them again.
I had four and a half years renting with Parker Property and the experience was a pleasure. Whenever there was an issue, they dealt with it quickly and with a smile. Any repairs were done promptly and properly and all in all we couldn’t have had a better relationship. Even when we decided to move at shorter notice than our contract demanded, they were happy to come and go. I’d thoroughly recommend Libby and her staff to anyone.

Very friendly and professional. You cannot meet a better person than the owner Naveed. His service is second to none.
A&S is the best letting agent I have ever met in town! Very professional, honest and helpful. Very secure to leave my properties in their hands.

24-7 Property Letting Ltd (Glasgow East End)

Mark Breen, in charge of repairs (apparently) never responds to emails. I've been trying to get the same work carried out for 6.5 YEARS since this flat has NO HEATING and a hot water tank with a broken thermostat so it heats to 80-85c+. THIS time around, he hasn't answered an email from me since June despite being contacted several times in the interim and given every opportunity to move forward. After they had the audacity to chase me for 50% of my rent being late by 10 days, I'm now pursuing the repairs through the housing tribunal - something he was informed would be happening this time around. Mark has still not responded.
As I was starting University in Glasgow from Edinburgh, I decided to go with 247 after a friends recommendation. I sent them an email and received a call back from Adam. We arranged a viewing the following day and after a successful application, I was able to move in 2 days later. Thanks for the fast and efficient service guys.
As a first time landlord, 247 helped me step by step to bring in the ideal tenant to my old flat. The process was fast and easy, it was 7 days from when I originally called to the date the tenant moved in. Thanks to Caroline and the team for making this daunting process as simple as it can be.
My sister and I had the pleasure to be assisted by Mark Breen through the process of letting our new lovely apartment. He has been very professional, kind and always available to answer to all our queries in short times and without hesitations. Mark also referred us to a tenant services agency which guided us though all the necessary steps to set up our accounts for the utility bills. We can only leave a more than positive feedback for the amazing job he did. We highly recommend Mark and his agency if you're looking for a new property!
I am surprised to read the negative reviews regarding this company as I am a new landlord and 24-7 Property was the first company I contacted and they guided me through the whole process and have been nothing but helpful. They always respond to any queries I have and Caroline in accounts emails me every month with my statements. Any payment issue from the tenant is dealt with very efficiently and quickly and I am kept in formed. I have been with them 1 year now and would highly recommend them to any landlord or tenant. Final note, they offer a great rate to fully manage your property. Keep up the great work Steven, Mark and Caroline. Speak soon

Glasgow Property Letting Ltd
17 Elmbank St, Glasgow, City of Glasgow, Scotland, Scotland, G2 4PB
I enquired about a flat and wanted to go ahead with it. I sent all the requested paperwork including a completed application form, online rental CV, references, ID and underwent a credit check. I was happy to pay the deposit and first months rent as well. The lady said the flat was mine and that she would send me over the lease to sign. As soon as I say that I will be staying on a short term basis up to 6 months....I receive a phone call saying that someone else is interested in the flat and that it is up to the landlord to decide who stays. I'm absolutely disgusted by their service and unprofessionalism. I can't believe someone would lie like this. They care about money not people. As a genuine and honest tenant, save yourself the hassle and avoid them at all costs. **Further to the response below, I didn’t know that I didn’t get the flat until you just advertised that just now. I was told the I would find out this coming Monday (08.02.21), so I had no cause to be disgruntled by that. This is another example of the unprofessionalism of this company. The fact remains, I was in a verbal agreement by Christine that “she had managed to get me the flat”, and then later told that there’s competition and other parties are interested. It’s about professionalism and following through with what you say. It is not brave of me at all to write an honest review. I have no fear of any future employer or landlord doing a credit check on me as my credit score is excellent. In fact, I would encourage this by all parties. I don’t appreciate these scaremongering tactics, which I have seen being used with other reviewers who have given you a less than favourable review (please scroll down to see.) I can’t stress enough to everyone reading this to be careful of Glasgow Property Letting Ltd. They are immoral and unprofessional.
While there were some initial issues when we moved in and the property itself had some faults our experience with GPL has been largely positive. Whenever we've had an issue we've felt able to contact them in the knowledge that the problem will be addressed promptly and we'll be communicated with clearly in the meantime. Communication is always friendly and informative and we appreciate it always being a person who has responded to us as opposed to a machine.
5⭐Excellent company! The whole process was fast, efficient and friendly Michelle and Colin are always available if there are any issues which so far there have been none as the property has been perfect since we took over. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to let.
I have rented through GPL for 7yrs. No problems at all. Professional, helpful, friendly & attentive team. I feel valued as a tenant which is exceptional. The team are dedicated to ensuring both I & the property are secure & looked after very well. Their care sets them apart. Highly recommended.
LGP team made moving to Scotland enjoyable and easy! A highly professional service with exemplary customer care. They've been very understanding, especially during the Corona crisis. The best experience I've had with any agent in Glasgow.

G4 Properties
52 Albert Rd, Glasgow, City of Glasgow, Scotland, Scotland, G42 8DN
I have used Imran and his team to manage my property for some time now and I’ve always found them to be very responsive and reliable. As a busy landlady you want a property management company you can trust and that’s reliable in meeting your needs. G4 manage all of the day to day needs as well as conducting stringent checks when I’m looking for new tenants. They always go the extra mile for their clients and with G4 I know my property as well as my tenants are in good hands. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to rent out property in Glasgow and surrounding areas 👍
Great team delivering excellent care for your property. No fuss; no hassle services. Recommend them highly.
G4Properties Ltd manage our property portfolio from startup. The team is a very professionally run unit. Always clear communications, payments on time, going above and beyond expectations. Available any time to take your telephone or face to face meetings. Certified leadership principles and processes are evident in the day to day management, of our properties, by the team.
I have used G4 since 2012 to let my property in Glasgow during that time I have had various issues reported to me that have ranged from property repairs to people and tenant issues, in every one of those issues I have had full support from Imran and the team at G4 to resolve them timeously and satisfactorily for both me and my tenants. The main thing for me is how G4 take ownership of issues reported to them irrespective of whether it is the tenant or me as the landlord they deal with it and see it through. Another important aspect is ensuring that my property is regularly inspected, maintained and kept up to date with legislation changes G4 have certainly done that and made it a lot easier for me to be a landlord. So thanks Imran and the team at G4 keep up the good work!
I have used this company for 10 years. At the time they were just starting out. I was looking for a letting agent and I had about 5 come to my home to discuss my requirements and what they could offer me. G4 were by far the friendliest and honest of them all and I immediately felt at ease with them. I have had no issues in terms of the service, bar when my 1st tenant moved out and my flat wasn't in the condition I would have expected it to be, however I would add that everyone's standards of housekeeping are different. I've had my second tenant for 7 years and not had one problem. If there is an issue at the property, I'm informed timeously and G4 have always acted on my instructions/decisions with the highest standard of professionalism. An example being last year, I had literally left hospital after surgery and I was called, on a Saturday, to be advised the boiler in my property had been condemned. I spoke with G4, they came back with a competitive price and had a new boiled installed within a week. My partner also uses G4 to manage his property, but I'll leave him to write his own review. I would definitely recommend Imran and his team. In fact, I have done in the past and 3 landlords (including my partner) have gone with G4 on my recommendation. Keep up the great work guys. Total value for money.

Have had a fantastic experience with Capital Letters. Raj has been very helpful and supportive especially as I bought my property during the 2nd lockdown. I'd definitely recommend them.
Rajinder has been exceptional in helping us let our property. The process was very smooth and easy. The communication was excellent and it was nice to deal with one person throughout the whole process. Rajinder was very professional and kept us updated with the progress. She went above and beyond to answer our queries.
Worked with Raj at Capital Letters. Raj has delivered quickly on everything she said they would do. Very happy with the ongoing support that has been offered with the tenancy.
It was my first time trying the Council Scheme but, i would like to thank Irina Wells for guiding me through the process and explaining everything clearly. The process was made simple and we were able to let both properties within a month. Many Thanks!
I worked with Rajinder at Capital Letters and she was fantastic in helping us let our property. She was always happy to answer any questions we had and helped us throughout the process while being very prompt with replies which together made the letting quick and smooth.

Glasgow City Flats
59 James Watt St, Glasgow, City of Glasgow, Scotland, Scotland, G2 8NF
Never got to try the flat right next to glasgow green as our booking was cancelled due to water damage from above 4 days before we were set to arrive. On the weekend of the radio 1 big weekend too. bummer as it would have been so close. Did get offered an alternative but it was 3 miles from from our original booking. Wont bother trying again.
We were 3 couples and spent 3 nights end of June 2017 and we enjoyed the place. Walking distance from all the main sites, restaurants and stores. Very clean.
We have stayed in Vienna 3 on two different occasions, once for a family wedding and once for a shopping trip. It is really well looked after and is situated right in the centre of town. At first glance it looks like it will be very noisy but the soundproofing is excellent and it is up on the 4th floor. It is literally 20 yards from the best shops in town and a 3 minute walk from the station. There are a lot of bars and restaurants nearby so great for a night out. The bed is particularly comfortable as is the modern bathroom and well equipped kitchen. There are other flats for rent in the same block but some of them have partitioned bedrooms at the front which is not so comfortable or spacious. No complaints there at all! Glasgow City Flats do a great job with information and are available to help out with any questions. It is also spotlessly clean. Much nicer and more central than the hotels in the area that we have used before, and a much better price. We will be back, hopefully for a longer stay.
Flat (Belmont 1) was clean, well furnished and ideally located. The GCF staff were swift to respond to queries and rescheduled on the fly to let us in when we arrived at the property earlier than we expected. Would definitely use again next time we travel to Glasgow!
We stayed at the Vienna 3 flat on 2 occasions. The service provided by Glasgow City Flats was excellent and the flat itself was extremely comfortable with much better than average furnishing and fittings. The postion on the 4th floor made it quiet and full of light. The area could not be better for enjoying what Glasgow has to offer. We will be back!

Safe Lettings
9 Clarkston Rd, Glasgow, City of Glasgow, Scotland, Scotland, G41 1TG
Not impressed at all at the way my boyfriends tenancy has been handled. Not friendly. Not responsive unless it’s convenient for them
Absolutely poor maintenance of flat. Negligence on her part. Gave tenancy to malicious people. Not responsive, not professional, deals with unauthorised persons in place of attorney, gives them the rent, didn't get certification of electrical certification, gas certification, doesnt care for registration with city council., Overall SAFE LETTINGS are not safe they act in very rude way .i recommend them to mend there ways or else they loose public opinion.
Highly recommended Leasing out an apartment is a symbiotic process between the owner, letting agent and tenant. Having been our letting agents for 15 years I do not hesitate to say this of Safe lettings. Moving to Malaysia for work and taking a young family in tow it was important that we were confident our only family investment was in safe hands and we could be confident it would be let out consistently with good tenants. Saima has ensured that all issues that have arisen, were dealt with in a fair and timely manner. Saima has demonstrated a sympathetic and fair manner with our tenants over the years and I have always taken her advice. As my son returns to Glasgow to live in the flat, Saima has kindly assisted with the renovation work needed and settling in period. I highly recommend Safe Lettings and will continue to be in contact with them, despite not currently renting the flat out.
6 months as a tenant with Safe Lettings and I believe they are a great letting agent. They have been professional and transparent with me throughout several issues at the flat, showing a deep sense of compassion to my issues while responding rapidly. The resourcefulness to solve my maintenance issues has made me feel like a valued tenant and I have always been impressed at the quality of the tradesmen who were contacted to fix our issues (compared to the cowboys who seemed to have renovated the flat!) Couldn't be happier!
I've had nothing but positive experiences with Safe Lettings. I don't understand all the negative reviews. They bent over backwards to help me get stuff sorted when I first moved into this flat and if I ever have a problem they send someone round to fix it usually that day. This is not a fake review - my name is Stephen Halbert and I can be found on Facebook if you want to find me and message me to ask me about this company before letting with them. The negative reviews are probably from people who didn't pay their rent or whatever and have a vendetta. I've always paid on time and had absolutely no issues with Safe Lettings :)

Castle Residential (Glasgow)

I sent in an application for a flat with these letting agents. I called to follow up and they said someone would get back to me and I never heard from them again. This was about three weeks ago now and the property I was applying for is still listed as available. Their loss I guess.
Absolute criminals, shouldn't be allowed to be letting agents. DO NOT RENT WITH THESE CROOKS
would give 6 stars if i could. 2020 been a horrible yeah and Castle have really been considerate, always responsive and i would highly recommend them for anyone looking to rent around Glasgow.
Fantastic experience with selling a property through Castle Residential - the second time we've used them in recent years. Matt gave us good advice about preparing the property for sale and kept good communication with us during the whole process. Got a better price than we'd hoped for thanks to his advice! Would not hesitate to use Castle again when selling. Highly recommended.
Great Letting agent, we are landlords and use 2 or 3 agents in Glasgow for our properties but have found Castle to be the best in most areas. rent always come in when it should be, works get done as required and at reasonable prices. Email contact regularly and very quickly to respond to any queries I may have. Don't want to go on but from a landlord perspective I would highly recommend them.

The Property Store Glasgow

I rented from the property store and my bedroom ceiling leaked into my bed. After sending people round to fix it (who failed), they simply stopped sending anyone. I paid 4 months of rent for a flat I spent 4 nights in because of the leak and the agents ignored all of my emails referring to the tenancy agreement that the flat should be watertight and requesting some rent back.
Rented a property for 14 months and agency was friendly and very responsive. Highly recommended!
Very honest and hard working team . Thank you

Great letting agents to do business with. Had lots of issues with my previous letting agency so decided to move. Best decision I made.

I've been with Lets B Wise for over a year now and i have to say despite what the reviews below say, their customer service is on point. Any time you go into their office they are incredibly friendly. There was a leak from upstairs which escalated into a worst case scenario last year.
