We are just about to begin moving in to our first flat together, my girlfriend and I. Murray & Currie have been an absolutely massive help to us for that, giving us a viewing the day after I had inquired about the property and going through the process quickly and explaining and helping with it so much. A massive thank you to Alex who was there to answer any questions within minutes and helped me a lot as this is the first time moving out. We rented a flat through Murray & Currie for over a year. They sent someone out pretty quickly (within days or a week) whenever we reported issues in the flat. Upon ending the tenancy I was worried about the deposit refund process, as some of the reviews on here suggested they were unfair and dodgy. We cleaned the flat ourselves, making sure to cover all the areas they listed in their email, and paid to have the carpet and windows cleaned. The flat was spotless, and we got our full deposit back, so nothing to complain about!

To find a loyal committed team who clearly care about the company they work for is a rare thing. I have found the team at M&C to be knowledgeable, professional, happy, and enthusiastic in all that they do. Bravo and thank you for managing my property so well.

Great experience as a tenant with Belvoir. Zoe was our case manager. She was very quick at fixing any issues we brought up and we had a fair agreement about return of deposit. We always got a quick response to any queries.

Having used Belvoir for a number of years on a 'Let Only' basis, I have found the service invaluable. Taking the headache out of finding suitable, vetted tenants swiftly and the preparation and completion of all associated checks and paperwork. I have found the team to be professional and extremely helpful at all times.

I have been customer of Belvoir for almost three years. The quality of the service has improved very much during last one and a half year because of the new system they have in place for repair, technical intervention, furniture substitution, etc. This online system is easy to follow and to complete and it is a guarantee for a quick intervention. You are usually called the day after completing the form. We unfortunately had loads of misunderstandings with our washing machine but the problem was always solved in the following days. We also had our shower plate replaced without too much fuss, as well as our former-very-wobbly coffee table. The new system is very good, as well the customer service. The letting agents are always very keen to help, reliable and understanding. We have received an eviction notice by our landlord at the beginning of this year and the agency, in particular Zoe Thomson, was always very kind and helping throughout the whole process. She has always been understanding and keen on helping us to find a solution. Unfortunately we have to move to another city, but she kept helping us providing references for the new flat. I already said this to her personally and I repeat it again here: it is very comforting to have such professionals on your side when life strikes hard. We rented with Milards for a year - from viewing the property until final departure and deposit return we found that they were professional, quick to respond to emails, keen to solve problems and entirely reasonable. A breath of fresh air compared to many other Edinburgh letting agencies! I would be happy to recommend Milards to anybody looking to rent in the Edinburgh area.

Tay Letting (Edinburgh) were great when we were looking for a property mid-pandemic, and were very accommodating to our limited time for viewings. Malcolm was super friendly and professional, and we appreciated the extra advice and tips about Edinburgh seeing as we were new to the area. Since moving into one of the properties they manage, we have found them to be very helpful with any questions we've had. I have been particularly impressed with the out of hours team which we have had to call for a leak and getting locked out of the apartment, both times we got a rapid response and the issues were resolved the same evening. Malcolm even went out of his way to let me back into the apartment with the spare key, saving me a hefty emergency locksmith fee, which I was incredibly grateful for!

Malcolm at Tay Letting was an incredible person to work with as my wife and I relocated overseas from the US to Edinburgh. He provided virtual tours (pre-COVID) and was accommodating to the finest detail of our being remote at the time. Whenever (in the rare occasions) there was an issue, he and the team were quick to be on-site and resolve it. Beyond Malcolm, the rest of the team at Tay Letting seemed efficient and professional. All in all, the Tay Letting team made a very stressful move overseas manageable and enjoyable. Can't recommend them enough for anyone looking at renting properties in the wonderful city of Edinburgh.

Said their flat was immediately available and gave me the impression I could move in pretty quickly. When I submitted my application, they said it would take a week just to do some references! What a joke - it takes 10-15 minutes to check references, not a bloody week! My last agency did FULL references the same day, plus FULL credit check the same day, within hours. To take a week for such a simple thing is totally unacceptable and lacks business sense. They could easily call the references and get full details the same day. Because of their red tape and bureaucracy this place is grossly inefficient. If it takes a week for this, imagine how long itd take if your boiler broke down!.....enough said really.

Rented from them for 8 months. Flat was old and dirty when i got it I had to clean it and do some fixing myself. When I left, it was cleaner and in a better shape than before and yet they took half of the deposit for cleaning and a couple of small items gone lost. I agreed to the deposit repayment but I think they overcharged me by far too much for it.

McLean Forth were my letting agents for over 12 years, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Mark and the team knew me and my property exceptionally well, and were always on hand to provide superb, personal service and spot-on advice. If you have a property to rent out, you could do no better than McLean Forth! When it came to me deciding to sell the property this autumn, McLean Forth were again superb. They were able to recommend, and line up quotes for selling agents and deal with all the practicalities of selling a property, such as sorting out final bills. This really took the worry out of selling. If you are selling a property, I would thoroughly recommend their Property Styling Service. The transformation was amazing and my relatively small investment in refreshing the property using this service paid off handsomely in an increased sale price, and a very rapid sale.

In 2015 I moved to Edinburgh to start a Master's degree at the university. After a very difficult period trying to find a flat in Edinburgh with my girlfriend Kathrin we eventually found a flat on Rossie Place which one of a number of properties let by Mclean Forth. Despite the company being relatively small, the service they have provided during the two year period we lived at Rossie Place has been nothing short of exceptional. The moving in process and contract signing were incredibly efficient, allowing us plenty of time to concentrate on actually moving in, rather than worrying about paperwork. The same went for sorting out the flat deposit when leaving. Efficient, simple and stress-free. While there were a few maintenance issues with the building at large during our time there, any maintenance issue we ever had within the flat was sorted out in the blink of an eye. And we very quickly came to trust in the extremely personable and warm approach which I would say typifies Mclean Forth as an agency. I would not hesitate to recommend Mclean Forth to anybody looking to rent a flat in the Edinburgh area and would happily move back to Edinburgh from Berlin, provided the residence was under the management of Mclean Forth. 10/10 in my book.
