From my past experience (last year) avoid at all costs - very poor letting agent. Maintenance issues will never be fixed or will be dismissed. Deposit charges are absurd, almost scamming. Happy to charge for maintenance issues that should’ve been fixed by them

Would put 0 stars if possible, so many problems but for one never got appliances like the freezer and washing machine fixed that were broken when we moved in after almost a year of calling because we eventually just moved out. They then scammed us out the deposit and took half of it. Trust me do not put your money or time here!!

As a tenant I would not recommend this agency. After moving out and getting a flat through another agency I can now see the lack of professionalism of Winchester lettings. All was well until we tried to move out of our flat. We have been charged the equivalent of 7 hours of cleaning (£12/hour) for a 2 bedroom flat in which we stayed for about 4 months. Had to contact them to get our deposit back and had to work out the amounts ourselves as they did not bother making it proportional to the different amounts of deposit paid. The flat was advertised with a private parking space which was not accessible. Only positive point is their reactivity, our emails were usually answered withing 24hours and the maintenance issues addressed were fixed quickly.

After having a not so great experience with winchester first time round I am happy to say that it was a one off unfortunate error! Held a viewing for myself and partner and couldn't have asked for better, kerryn arrived with time to spare and was really professional and informative and got back to us quickly via email.to questions she did not have answers available at the time. Highly recommended!!

We had a really bad experience with this agency for many reasons like: 1. During our first week, we have reported tons of problems with the house and almost none of them got fixed during our entire tenancy except for some trivial ones about two months later. 2. One of those problems was the fridge/freezer that didn't work properly at the beginning, but later on completely stopped working and we had to live without a functioning fridge/freezer for more than three weeks and a large quantity of our food went to waste as a result of that. This could have been easily avoided hadn't they ignored our first maintenance report (about two months earlier) 3. Lastly, when we left we made sure that the property was cleaned properly but they still tried to deduct 135£ from our deposit on cleaning. Fortunately, we took pictures of the property when we left and could prove that it was in a clean order. There were many other problems but those were just the main ones. Overall, i would highly advise everyone to stay away from this agency.

Totally unprofessional behaviour and a complete waste of my time. Why insist upon using an online booking system to schedule viewings that you are just going to reschedule? I also feel like calling the wrong person and being rude to them down the phone is something a business really shouldn’t be doing. What a shocking way to treat prospective tenants!

Rented with Stewart Property Services for ~2 years and they are an absolute dream!! So beyond communicative, organised, and helpful. Can't recommend them enough, especially after dealing with far inferior agencies testing my patience..

I rented a flat with them for a year, in that time the boil broke down, we had multiple valve failures on the new boiler and our door lock jammed. It took literally no more than 2 days to get these issue completely resolved each time and we where never asked for a penny. The staff are easy to work with, considerate and quick to respond. I moved out of a 3 person flat to move cities for work and study leaving my old flatmates to find a new flat in time where it's not the easiest to do so with COVID. Upon hearing of my departure they offered to turn the room I was vacating in the flat into a living room (of which the property lacked) for the two that remainded, by supplying chairs and removing the bedroom furniture, all without charging any extra than before. I have expreinced first hand some terrible landlord/letting agencies and some "okay" ones to boot but Stewart Property Services are the only ones to date that have in my eyes set the standard to which I will now hold every letting agency to from here on out. Thanks to Anna for the great management of my time with them.

Always quick in responding on any query, in repairing anything faulty, in replacing damaged appliances. Always making sure all yearly checks are done. Definitely worthwhile renting through them if you’re looking for a lease.

My wife and I have rented one of their properties in Aberdeen for 2 years. Anna and her team have always replied to our email very promptly and all problems were quickly fixed. What a disgraceful service this company provides. Just expect to be ripped off and told you're a liar when your lease tenancy ends. Do not rent a property from them no matter how nice it is because your deposit will soon become a gift to the landlord.
