The maintenance has not always been on time. A job was scheduled three times in a week with none of them being done. Another maintenance job was not attended and when I called they were just like “oh he went to the wrong address.” Can’t you at least say sorry? Rescheduling everything else, waiting all day for the maintenance and disinfecting everywhere after another person came into my flat in a pandemic is stressful enough. The worse is having to continue like this everyday with no certainty and things still broken. Funny that every time I called about an undone maintenance job they ask if you were home all day, when I said I was home all day they would say the maintenance team has keys you don’t have to stay in. You think I would be reassured by that of WHAT? If you don’t attend your maintenance on time then the schedule confirmation email is useless (oh and the emails don’t always get to you, not in inbox, not even in junk box).

My experience with RentInc is really good so far. Their website has a wide variety of properties and all seem nice and well kept. Tom Stokes, who is the agent from RentInc that I have been in contact with is amazing and exceptionally professional. Not only his information about the properties and the booking procedure are accurate and helpful but also he replies immediately to every question. Because of him the stressful process of finding a house in a different country evolved to something easy and pleasant.

I had many rent contracts with this agency because it is trustworthy and they always helped me out whenever i had a problem(especially thomas strokes agent he would reply at mails or phone calls quickly for any kind of questions and issues I recommend to contact him for help), they handled it for me in these 2-3 years since i am their tenant. I am so happy with the current property it is like in the pictures from their websites, their forms are always very explicit and clear to comprehend, their team is professional and friendly i would rent only with this rentic. I am a student from another country and honestly this is my best stay in uk rentic is better than a campus and they recommended me best uk garantor with convenient prices. Rentinc is run by some genuinely nice and helpful people. They will do their best to make sure you are happy and are not looking to rip you off at all. Matthew has always been a pleasure to deal with.

Ruta has gone above and beyond for myself and my partner. No job has been too big or too small and she has managed to get them done very quickly! She is very polite and helpful and will listen to any problems and try to figure out ways to resolve them with minimum hassle.

I don't know how these charlatans have engineered so many apparently positive reviews, no doubt written by family and friends. In the experience of my daughter and her housemates, these people were prepared to rent a Rachman style property as if it were a desirable residence. Their record for responding to requests was insulting, and over a year later they have not returned deposits, even though the house was left cleaner and in better order than it was found. This company is a disgrace

The maintenance man; Eric is outstanding! Really goes above and beyond for the tenants. If you have any problems he really does what he can to help and not only resolve any issues. Really appreciate his hard work!

Extremely unprofessional 'letting agent'. Official communication is done without a shred of professionalism - Asha there is a rude lady. They tried taking £70 from my deposit for 'cleaning charges' until I fought them by providing my video evidence of when I moved in. WILL NOT RECOMMEND THESE SCUMMY AND OVERPRICED PROPERTIES.

Really wish I had seen their google reviews before letting with them! WARNING. Avoid. I’ve had no choice but to rent with them for three years due to having a dog and there are very little (if any) other letting agents that allow a pet in rented accommodation. Both flats I rented from them came with a number of issues, mainly mould which was dealt with by simply painting over it god knows how many times over. I felt I couldn’t complain to them as every issue I brought up was an argument, even being told after 2 weeks without a washing machine and (gentle) reminders that I should “be grateful someone is coming to fix it” at all, after that I left it and was eventually given a new washing machine after 4 weeks. Fast forward to getting my deposit back, they’ve charged me for shampoo bottles left, cobwebs and even tried to charge me for a piece of furniture that’s theirs. I have been looking forward to moving on from these people but the lengthy list of what was “damaged” in the flat was laughable. I agree with a lot of previous reviews that they don’t care about their student tenants. I was not a student and worked full time to pay for the flat. They will use every cheap alternative in the book to fix a problem that just reappears later. I paid a lot of money to live somewhere that was not worth the money along with a stressful relationship with the Lettings agency. I have now moved away from Leeds as being so close to the city centre does not justify the stress. I NEVER complain and do not like to air my dirty laundry in public but I genuinely feel sorry for whoever will be moving in to my old flat next, no doubt with a fresh lick of paint all over the flat (that they’ve charged me for) to mask all the problems until it’s too late. The worst lettings agency in Leeds.

Personally haven’t had many issues with Spencer Properties. We’re in a professional house and signing for the house during a pandemic was quite stressful and the things they wanted is to do when we weren’t even supposed to be entering other people’s homes was a bit unreasonable. However, the house is of very high quality. We’ve had a few issues since we moved in but they have been really quick and efficient to come out and fix them - shout-out to the on call maintenance guy for coming out to us at stupid hours to fix our windows and Asha is amazing in the office, gets things done very quickly for you!

Since we were looking for a new property with Spencer properties it was easy to book an appointment for viewing. Then we decided to to move in to one of their property it was easy to sort it out. When we signed to contract and sent all our details the property was ready to move in. So far we had only one minor maintenance issue but it was sorted straight away. We live here for only 2 weeks, so far we are happy!
