Honestly these 5 stars go to Aaron Ewan rather than Bridgfords Leeds. He is amazingly capable and turned a bad experience (that would resulted to a review of 1-2 stars max) into a very positive one. Bridgfords have looked after my rental apartment for a number of years now since they took it over from ‘Flats in Leeds’. I’ve always received excellent service meaning up until the end of the most recent tenancy I hadn’t needed to go in the apartment in a long time. Unfortunately during the pandemic the recent tenants did not care for the apartment at all and left it in a very sorry state. I was really quite worried about how we were going to turn the place around and re-marker it but only one month later it’s completely refurbished and a new tenant moved in yesterday. I received excellent service from the team at Bridgfords particularly Aaron Ewan who was accommodating, flexible and very helpful in getting my apartment photographed and back on the market. 5 star service.

I have used a lot of estate agents over the past few years and I can honestly say North Property are the best! They reply quick, they are proactive in solving problems, the referencing process was stress free, and the customer service was good (shout out to Kate and Amy). Moreover, I was most impressed when I viewed my future home, Kate asked me if I was happy about everything in the apartment. That might sound like a small thing but I’ve never actually been asked that and when I said there was a few things that needed doing they have sorted them all. So yes, can’t ask for anymore so far.

Staff were helpful until we signed a tenancy agreement. We were told the flat would be professionally cleaned before moving in but we found it very dirty the bathroom smelled of urine, mouldy crockery in cupboards, litter under beds and sweets embedded in the carpet. Water marks on the bathroom ceiling from a previous leak which we later found out happened years before. It was hard work to get them to repair anything, we had to call them several times before getting it sorted. We decided to decorate a room ourselves to paint over red biro scribbles on the bedroom wall. Before returning the keys we arranged for a professional cleaner to clean throughout and to our surprise we received a 50 page report which gave the impression the flat was dirty. It took a month to get our deposit returned and only after we got shirty about it. Won't be using again

I've rented various properties around Leeds using different letting agencies each time and I would definitely say that Martin & Co has provided the best all-around service so far! Never have i had to report problems so many times. Things need repairs. Taken 3+ years to change a fridge door which still has not been done. When beds and sofa needed replacing i had to pay for removals. I know not all down to the estate agents. They are however supposed to manage the property.

I would not recommend this agency to anyone. They still own us our deposit money, even though we left the apartment perfectly clean with no damage. We have tried many times to get in contact with no response. Be careful!

In Leeds the rental market is not the easiest to navigate. Alex and Evie were both incredibly helpful and transparent throughout the process all my questions were answered and they were able to offer me tenancy on a fantastic apartment in Leeds Dock. Thanks for your help again! I would highly recommend using this agent. Far too often we are met by huge franchises, here you have a chance to get a wider range of properties that are kept to a good standard, but with a smaller pool of potential tenants. There are some things to sort in the flat although these have been raised and are to be action-ed. No complaints.
