I would like to thank all the staff at the Pontefract branch. I put my house up for sale on the Thursday by Monday I'd had an offer of the full asking price. The staff at the branch are amazing! From my first point of contact with Ash about letting a property she has gone above and beyond to make sure everything ran as smoothly as possible. Unfortunately we hit a few bumps in the road (through no fault of mine or reeds rains) but nothing was too much trouble. I don’t think I would have managed to stay as sane as did without her help and also Beths. I really can’t thank them enough for making sure me and my children have our dream home!

I arranged a house viewing a while ago and they called to say the house had sold so I couldn’t view it. I’m in the market for a new home, have been actively looking and they simply said it was sold and bye. They really missed an opportunity to ask about what I was looking for and to market other homes to me. Felt like they didn’t care that I was looking, or that they wanted to help. I’m a potential customer! Well, a lost customer now.

From the first contact with Leah through to the stage the sale is at the team have been very professional and courteous. they are always on hand to answer the questions I have had and give regular feedback to the process of the sale. Sold twice now through Enfields (Pontefract). They are simply the best at what they do. Front end selling team (Andrew) managed to sell my property really quickly, and for the right price. Back end team (especially Joanne) really pull out all the stops to make the sale happen. I couldn't recommend them highly enough. A special shout out to Stacey (Mortgage Advisor) who was superb at finding the right deal for us when the market was difficult.

Their website shows only the good reviews so here's a real review from experience. Full of lies, deciet, incompetence and an extremely sarcastic female manager at the Pontefract branch! Any response from them to this review will be unjustified and ignored! No excuse and most staff need retraining and a lesson in customer service. No stars would be given if possible! Extremely aloof and as close to rude as possible when dealt with over the phone. Still waiting for a call from them regarding a property - they promised that they would call back and 5 days later, I am still waiting. Would not recommend.

I switched agency to Number 1 last September and have been very satisfied with the results.As a long term and professional landlord, I have found that nothing is too difficult and they are contactable very readily. The team, but especially Emma Curtin, have been exceptional. She has been courteous, pro active and hands-on throughout the handover period of my properties and the management since that time. Switching to Number 1 was a very sensible and prudent decision.

Highly recommended, likely the best letting agency I've interacted with. As a prospective tenant looking to move into a new property this year I expected a more challenging journey, not the case with these guys. Practically everything was arranged & sorted for me efficiently with no fuss or delay + the added bonus of prompt & frequent communication. I can only comment on the tenant side of the fence, however I can vouch for the efficacy of pre-tenancy checks to cover landlord security also.

I spent weeks cleaning the filthy, grease, dusty house I rented. Which Whitegates had informed me was “clean...” I left a year later leaving the house immaculate after three hours cleaning, only to be falsely accused of all sorts of neglect, abuse and damage in an attempt to claim £451 of my bond... Good luck getting your Bond back!

I rented a property for 11 months with Whitegates and it was a very smooth process. The property upkeep was fantastic at all times and maintenence issues fixed straight away. They have even been understanding of my issues during COVID-19.

Well Google, I only walked past there today, but I have had recent dealings with Whitegates as it happens, and can highly recommend their excellent service, and attention to detail .

I have used whitegates Pontefract to buy, sell and let/manage properties. They are a great team. Always friendly and helpful. Can't fault them.

This is my own agency, so be warned that this review might be quite subjective. Agency is alright and has a very decent customer service with nice people. The response rate is fast and your queries will be answered relatively quickly( for an agency). I took one star away for the initial lack of response regarding the credit check( they forgot) and I should be taking a half a star for lack of card or cash payments. You need to do everything by the bank transfer, which can be annoying for some and can give a vibe of agency being phony and cheap. Apart from that, decent guys.

Poor communication No one knows if a property is sold or not. E-mails not replied to.

Tried twice to get details and reserve a property on a new build estate and been told that Chris would call me back. Both times he has NOT contacted me so he has lost the developer a sale. Very, very poor service.

They've helped us out with many properties now and we have been over the moon with the quality of their service. Both Chris and Karen are fantastic at dealing with any issues in a quick and friendly manner (quite often they go way beyond the call of duty). Highly recommended this company.

Excellent Estate Agency. Libby is an asset to the business, she is pleasant, helpful and very knowledgable nothing is too much trouble for her. Our property valuation was completed at 2pm the property was on rightmove at 420pm, Appointment booked at 510pm for next day viewing and property sold. Would definitely recommend
