Jack showed us around 2 properties we loved and couldn't decide between - he was really helpful giving us more than enough information and an insight into the application process. We looked round a tonne of properties before we signed for this one, and it was great to meet a letting agent that you could chat to.

Middle Cottage in Dunnington is close to York and is a well presented and beautifully decorated house perfect for a couple. The cottage is a small bus ride from the centre of York with the bus stop being a two minute walk away. The cottage is situated in the beautiful village of Dunnington, with a bakery and a convenience store just across the street. The property has a beautifully decorated lounge with dining area, a fully equipped kitchen perfect for cooking and a lovely decked area outside, off the kitchen, perfect for dining on a lovely evening. upstairs the bedroom is spacious with a extremely comfortable bed and the bathroom is great. There are all the conveniences you would expect and so much more. The personal touches and choice of colours throughout the property really add to the charm. It was perfect for our holiday and we will definitely stay again!

Middle Cottage in Dunnington, close to York, is a beautifully presented and tastefully decorated house perfect for a couple or small family. A short bus ride from Central York, middle cottage oozes charm and is situated in the picturesque village of Dunnington, with a lovely deli/bakery and a convenience store right across the street. The property itself comprises a lounge with dining area, a beautiful kitchen perfect for cooking, a lovely decked area outside, off the kitchen, perfect for Al fresco dining, and upstairs the bedroom is spacious and the bed is honestly the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. The shower is fantastic! There are all the conveniences one would expect and so much more. The personal touches and choice of colours throughout the property really add to the charm. It really was the perfect cottage for our break away! We will be back!

Fantastic modern apartment, spotless and had everything you could need/want. A 15 minute flat stroll into the City. Lovely outside space to sit if the weather is suitable.

Julia is by far the best realtor we’ve ever worked with. She keeps her clients focused on what needs to be done to buy or sell a property. She is kind efficient, knowledgeable and extremely helpful with every detail. Julia’s communication skills are top notch and she is available all the time for advice. We recommend her highly in every circumstance of buying or selling a property.

They will repeatedly enter your rented property without giving 24 hours notice or gaining permission from you. They took over one year to repair a basic problem. Very poor and by far the worst service I've received in York from a lettings agency. Best avoided. Edit in reply to your response: Naturally it' very disappointing to see your response. Entering tenants homes without giving 24 hours notice should come as no surprise as it was initiated by a manager in one instance. I have emailed you directing you to evidence for this. I've also described other inappropriate behaviours by Appealing Properties, for example when my tenancy started and I was told that marks and scratches are considered fair wear and tear, but when I left then I was charged for marks and scratches. Not acceptable. I'd recommend that you spend more time proving an actual five star service as you claim, and less time trying to manage your online reputation by blaming ex staff.

Absolutely appalled by my brief contact with this agency. I was refused a rental viewing on the grounds that I am self-employed. When I tried to query if this is even lawful I was spoken to really quite rudely. A shocking approach to customer service and the whole experience very much undermines their credibility in my view.

Having finished my tenancy with appealing properties I have mixed opinions about my time and how situations were dealt with. I never had a problem with any of the employees who worked there, with the majority being lovely and very pleasant. I also liked the way AP stored my deposit which was taken, using a third party which specialised in this. Throughout my stay there were occasions where promises were made and not kept as well as times where I thought the way other tenants were treated may not have been reasonable. As well as this, I had been asked to pay unnecessary fees alongside noticing further inconsistencies in my contract and the advert prior to signing. I moved into a rented room in a house which already had conflict between tenants and understand this put AP in a hard position so appreciate efforts which were made, and acknowledge they are not solely responsible for a lot of the issues I encountered whilst staying in this property .

Initial review was not so positive as my first experience wasn't so great. However, after managing to talk to the office and understand the reasonings with why the situation happened the way it did. They've been friendly and managed to rearrange to what convenience me and have been super friendly about the whole siutation.

We were very apprehensive about having to move during the current crisis, but Damian made it a seamless process and we can't thank him enough! He was very accommodating and really went above and beyond to help us get our perfect flat! A very reassuring, friendly and quick response service, couldn't recommend enough!

Highly recommend using, Ali was always easy to reach and more than helpful from start to finish. From picking me up and helping me move into the property to offering to help me move out and also helped massively in resolving an issue with Council Tax and even covering part of the costs. When I first moved in I was in a bit of a rush to do so, and Ali was really helpful in sorting everything for me to move in on the date I needed. Even met me at 6pm on a Saturday to handover the keys. He was always responsive if I needed anything done in the house and got it sorted straight away, and then when moving out everything was simple and easy too.
