4 letting agents in Selby

I had previously listed my property with another agent and in 6 months had only 3 viewings. I withdrew the property from the market and decided to get in touch with Reeds Reins as they had sold my neighbors property a few years before. Chris and the team where fantastic. They went above and beyond to help me as I work away. The property was photographed on the Monday. It went live on the Wednesday and had sold by the following Monday. They kept me informed what was happening throughout. Rachel was a superstar when I asked her to do something she would action it and call me back to update me and understood that I worked nights so she would try and liase with me when it was convenient for me. Thoroughly impressed and would highly recommend them and the Selby team.

Chris and the team have been super patient and helpful in a house sale involving a separation. Firstly, they got plenty of interested through the door then have worked hard to get the sale over the line despite many obstacles (none of their doing!). I thought the whole team were professional, helpful and motivated. Thanks very much to you all.

Just spent the first weekend in my new home and thanks to Reeds Rains Selby it only took 5 weeks from putting in an offer to picking up the keys! Rachel was fantastic, very helpful, responsive and always kept both the seller and I in the loop with updates. All round a great experience - thank you Rachel and team!

Excellent service received at every step, the whole team were always professional friendly and eager to help and resolve any situation thrown at our sale. They ensured the whole process was as smooth as possible for us and even throughout the contract stage they were on hand chasing Solicitors for updates helping to keep momentum of the sale. I could not recommend them highly enough and if we were not moving out of the area, we would definitely come back to them to use for any other sale / purchase. A big thank you .

I cannot give enough praise to Rachel and the team at Reeds Rains in Selby. They have been absolutely wonderful dealing with the sale of our old home and purchase of our new house. Horrible place lack off communication more worried about there next hair appointment than there customers sadly im unable to give - stars but they are just a joke.....

Have to say i feel sorry for any landlords using them. Chased up on responses for enquiries over several days to then be told that the property where no longer available after nearly a week. Can only say its pretty obvious they havnt contacted the landlords and can't be bothered to let me know. Dont even offer to put you on an alert list just tell you to check again later and they'll have a look. Very unimpressed attitude when you contact them. Almost like your rude to interrupt them doing sod all.

Great start at the viewing, the lady was already at the property and she was extremely helpful with an in depth knowledge about the flat. I asked for a form and by the end of the same day I sent all the documents requested for the application form. 3 days later I received a phone call saying that everything is fine but considering that the guy before me was of the same nationality and having the same first name might be an issue as the previous tenant hasn’t paid his last month’s rent and the landlord might be skeptical about having another person with the same name and nationality. I was speechless and didn’t know what to say but I faced racism many times and went over it pretty quickly. In the end I was declined with the following mentions: 1. It is not because of your nationality 2. The tenant we chose will stay on long term lease (again, they never asked me for how long I intend to stay although I passed on the information that I have been renting for the past 6 years) Once I came back to the UK, I am decided to take legal action based on what they said as I have the proof. Tips: if you are from a heavily stereotyped country don’t bother applying as they will exclude you and waste your time and energy like they did in my case.

Had a viewing booked today, no estate agent showed up. I turned down overtime to attend this viewing. I would be disgusted if that was my property I was wanting to sell and the "trusted" company doesn't even call. Me and my partner waited 20 minutes after the scheduled time (we also arrived 15 minutes early). No show and no call to apologise for late arrival (if any) or to reschedule.

Good service, easiest letting agent I've ever used. Had a year in a property with these, which has just passed. I'd give them 5 stars, but there's not much in a way of an emergency contact if anything goes wrong over the weekend. Apart from that, good friendly family run business.

Keith Taylor's did a great job in selling our house, which sold for the FULL ASKING PRICE. Before opting for Keith Taylor's we did ask another local estate agent round and both agencies valued the house at the same price but we opted for Keith Taylor's as they are a friendly, family run business with a good reputation and they were open and straight down the line with us whereas the other agents were too brash and flashy and wanting to put the house on at a low price to get a bidding war going (a dangerous game for the seller, but easy commission for the agent if they sell). Keith Taylor's were the only constant in the whole buying and selling process, while I would never recommend our (so called) solicitor to anyone or the estate agents whom we bought through but I can't praise Keith Taylor's enough and would definitely recommend them to anyone!
