3 letting agents in Mere Green

The worst letting agents I have ever dealt with. Completely dishonest practice. A warning to all landlords and tenants, there are much better agencies out there.

We had a bad experience with Century 21 after dealing with Matthew when attempting to purchase a property. We had viewed the property initially, and then offered a chance for a second viewing which we accepted and also attended. Matthew explicitly told us that if we were to offer on the property, that it would not be sold from underneath us, and that he would come back to us with some feedback of our offer. Exactly the opposite happened, and another offer was made on the same day, and if we had not followed up, we have not known that Matthew had simply taken the highest offer without letting us know. The issue isn't the fact that someone had made a higher offer, but more so the the mis-information that there would be no issue with second viewing and not selling the property from under our nose. Additionally, our offer was not acknowledged in writing, and we had no confirmation that our offer was even submitted to the vendors. Its a shame, as this branch is centrally located in Mere Green, but I for one would not list any of my other properties or my main residence with Century 21, simply down to how we were dealt with, and the poor service received. Acres, Paul Carr, Green etc on the other hand offer a far superior service by comparison. In case you have forgotten who I am, its the gentleman you showed the house to with the Golliwog doll on display. Cheers

0 stars out of 5 if I could! A landlord or agent should provide a copy of the tenancy agreement (letting contract) before taking the holding deposit, but he (or they) hesitate to provide free of charge a copy of contract for review prior to references begun

I have sold 2 properties and rented one through Century 21 and experience has been brilliant. Personable and friendly and easy to contact. Managed to rent house out to first viewer and also sell our house after first viewing. Highly reccomend

We had a very good experience with Matthew from Century21 throughout. Even when things got stressful towards the end when purchasing our property he was there to help. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt he always had our best interest at heart.

I asked the team to come out to my property as I was really unsure what I needed to do. They attended and took me through in detail the cost of selling and what I should do to enhance the saleability of my house. Their fee and service was excellent and I would recommend.
