I made the decision to switch across to Bairstow Eves after many months of trying to sell my home with a different local estate agents. The fantastic service I'd received from Elisha and Liam at Bairstow Eves was miles apart from what I'd received elsewhere. They managed to find a buyer in just over a week of it being listed with them, despite it being listed for around 5 months with another agent before hand. Both Liam and Elisha were fantastic with their customer service. Great communication, very personable, friendly and professional. I have dealt with many different estate agents in the past. I am very impressed with Bairstow Eves in Tamworth, particularly Elisha Bates. I have used Elisha for purchases and sales and can honestly say she is the best agent I have come across. She is very efficient, honest and forgets nothing! She does exactly what she says she is going to do and constantly keeps in touch providing updates. This may sound simple however in my experience this is a rarity among estate agents. Very highly recommended

We recently sold and purchased our new property through Hunters, the service they provided I can honestly not fault. Alan was lovely and reassuring who valued our house and got the ball rolling he was honest and professional and we felt we could trust his opinion. Personally for me i had the pleasure of Pippa helping us throughout and she had been a delight she is so professional and welcoming as nothing was ever too much trouble she always delivered on her word and reassured me throughout our whole process. Pippa printed paper work made regular calls to my solicitor and did no end of chasing she took on most my stress and sorted any problems that occurred. The sale on my house completed yesterday. Wilkins were so helpful, professional and friendly. They made a really stressful event so much easier. From the first time I made contact until the very end, nothing was too much trouble and I felt I could contact them at any time and get a helpful response. Most of the dealings I had with the team were with Harry who I found to be a genuine, decent and hard working guy. It's refreshing to deal with people who can maintain professionalism whilst being down to earth and friendly. The rest of the team I dealt with - Cameron, Grace, Mark and Angie were all also really helpful and I am grateful to all of them. Highly recommend Wilkins Estate Agents, from the moment of picking up the phone was very professional and swift. We got to book a viewing for the property of interest the next morning, the viewing was easy and comfortable and followed covid guidelines. I've recently sold a property in the Tamworth area and wanted to share my thoughts about the service I received from Martin and Co. Selling a property at any time is a challenge. Selling a property during a pandemic, with a race to completing before stamp duty relief ends, is the perfect recipe for a nightmare. Not for Martin and Co Tamworth!!!... They are clearly experienced selling properties under pressure, providing superb communication and setting realistic expectations. Laura handled our sale and was instrumental in completing it given our challenging buyers. Laura managed our expectations perfectly and was always very open and honest with us, whilst driving all parties hard to progress the sale. From the very start the guys at Martin and Co clearly outlined the whole process and walked us through each step at our pace. Our sale was anything but simple and again Laura, with support from her team carried out superb negotiations achieving just below our asking price. If you’re selling a property then give the guys a call at the very least..... Ayden and his team are brilliant at what they do and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them. Absolutey shocking customer service. If I could of rated zero stars, I would of done. The manor of which I was spoken to placing an offer on a property, then followed by pure lack of communication after that fact and left for 10 days with zero communication, was the terrible. I have emailed their head office to make them aware of the service provided within the Tamworth branch. Would suggest any seller going with this branch to reconsider.

We used Burchall Edwards to rent our new home and found them extremely professional right from the viewing through to handing over the keys, nothing was too much trouble. We dealt predominantly with Stephanie Shilton who was very helpful and friendly even after I rang her countless times some days. Would definitely recommend them.

We used Burchell Edwards as their pricing was very competitive and broken down simply and explained thoroughly. The service we received during the viewing process was excellent and cannot be faulted, especially during the current climate. Once the sale was completed our liaison, Vanessa , was a pleasure to be dealing with. Vanessa, kept in regular contact during all stages up to the exchange of contracts and especially during the period where it looked like the chain was going to collapse ( thankfully it didn't ), at this time Vanessa explained everything concise and clearly and in a way that was easy for us to understand and made feel at ease at that uncertain time. I would consider very carefully before you appoint James & Pye to undertake your business. Having had the misfortune of a property survey from this outfit, I am appalled both at the quality of the report and the diabolical service. Having to wait over 3 weeks for a surveyors report is unacceptable. If you have time and money to waste and are prepared to continually have to chase up reports and documentation then your low expectations will be surely met.

I really do not like leaving bad reviews and I wish I’d checked out the reviews here before I’d instructed James & Pye. To say the valuation took longer than expected is a major under statement. From the moment they were instructed it took approximately 2 months for them to even get into the property (yes the tenants weren’t great however I had multiple other specialists who all managed to get into the property with not too much trouble) and then once they had visited the property it took over 4 weeks for them to create a very basic 5 page valuation report..... I will say however that the customer service I received was relatively good but unfortunately I will not be using them again and I can’t recommend anyone else to use them.

I saw all the bad reviews so had to say SOMETHING. I can only speak of my experience, but I used these guys in June 2019 for a homebuyers report. I choose them based on a recommendation from someone I trust. They advised me well and the report was performed quickly and I felt the phone conversation I had with the surveyor afterwards was helpful and informative. He explained anything I didn’t understand and helped me feel at ease with what the report was telling me. I think these guys are great. Maybe I was just lucky!

Without doubt the worst estate agent I’ve came across in my time. Where to begin... Karen is an embarresment to the industry she works in and treats her tenants with total contempt and at times goes beyond rudeness to the point of complete insult. False deposit claims which they often lose due to lack of evidence and their check in inventorys are absolutely woeful and lack any detail of condition. A completely inflexible company which looks and has the reputation of being completely left in the stone ages.
