I recently purchased a house for the first time so was all very knew to me and didn’t even know where to start if I’m honest had no clue but thankfully Abby Drury And Lyndsey Clarke were straight onto it for me as soon as I asked for any advice and within a matter of a few hours the mortgage adviser rang me and all sorted over the phone with an offer in place very fast then I chose the conveyancing company through there recommendations and again on the same day between them I had sent me a breakdown of all costs of everything so I knew exactly how much it would all cost I literally didn’t have to do anything because they contacted everyone for me very very efficiently. Such lovely ladies as well!! Thanks again for making what I thought would be stressful so easy and stress free as I didn’t need to do anything at all to get the ball rolling all thanks to Abby and Lyndsey ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Within just about a month of getting the house, boiler has stopped working and we have no heating or hot water. The law states as tenants this should be fixed within 24 hours. I am now on the 6th day with no heating or hot water. My electric bill has gone higher than expected because of all the heaters we have brought to keep the house warm. No response from the agency as of yet. I am expecting some sort of compensation for the struggle this has caused me and my family.

We are former tenants of a property whose owner chose Chattings Letting Agents to let out. The customer service and attention to detail has been very poor. We vacated the property on 5th May and we are still waiting for the deposit back today (9th June). This is taking in consideration that the landlady and ourselves (tenants) let the agency know in writing that we were happy to get this released weeks ago. I appreciate that it might be a 3rd party company that holds the money, but they could have definitely done a better job liaising with them in order to release it earlier. It should take up to 10 days and it has taken over a month (so far...)

I’m in the process of renting a property in Lichfield. I wasn’t sure how to go about it and was quite apprehensive about the ordeal that I was about to encounter. I shouldn’t have worried. Spoke to a pleasant young lady called Georgia and she has guided me through the process. From arranging a viewing and interceding on my behalf with regards to the rent I have nothing but praise for her professional demeanour throughout. Without sounding like a cheesy advert I profess that I would recommend their services. I must add that I approached four other well known Estate Agents in the same street and not one of them had the courtesy of getting back to me.

I have rented a house from Chattings Lichfield and have received excellent, professional service right from the application through to now. They are always responsive and friendly as well as being professional. Thanks for a great service.

Recently rented out our house in Stafford through Connells. Excellent advice and information was given both before renting and also as we moved through the process. A range of management services offered which gives a good range of flexibility for Landlords. Tenants were found quickly and with ease. Would definitely use Connells again if repeating the process.

Recently used Connells to rent a property. The service from Hannah was second to none. From start to finish Hannah communicated every step clearly. Professional yet friendly, and helpful from start to finish. Highly recommend using them to rent properly. Best experience from a letting agent in all my years renting.

I cannot recommend Connells enough. I dealt with Jess and Liv and they were amazing from the start. So friendly and professional. They helped with my rental from start to finish. Always checking in to see how I was doing. They also have a fantastic app to help set up utilities, it was so easy to use and took the pressure off sorting.

We have let out property, rented property and had property up for sale with Connells Stafford, so I think it's safe to say we've tried all of their services. The customer service is excellent, Ed in particular always comes back to you when he says he will. The cost to let our property was very reasonable and everything was very straight forward. More recently, we've arranged to rent a property while our house is undergoing some insurance works. It's been an incredibly stressful time but Connells have made life much easier than it might otherwise have been. Thoroughly recommended!

Wouldn't recommend at all! I had James Day visit my apartment for an evaluation last year, he clearly didn't care nor was interested in listening to me or providing even a half decent service. He even stated that I should consider offers of £70,000! He even said "You may know the value of this place but I know what people will pay for it, I sell one hundred places in Stafford a month etc". Absolute rubbish! I sold my apartment for £87,500 in the end :-D Also he wanted £1,200 as his fee where another estate agent only charged £850 for an excellent service. Don't go here, they want to put the minimum service in whilst getting the maximum fee and he clearly didn't know the market as well as he claimed as proven by my sale :-D

Fell at the first hurdle! I arranged to view a property that I was keen on buying and had to book a day off work. The viewing went well and I wanted to move towards making an offer, so I checked the website as soon as I got in the car to find the property was sold subject to contract? I called to find out if the website was correct and had a call back the following day to say the property had had 3 offers in that failed so the vendor had sold to a friend? What a waste of time!

Dourish & Day were great from start to finish. I have contacted many estate agents over the past couple of years and Dourish & Day have been the best by far. Helpful and responsive from initial request for a viewing, right through until the sale had completed. Thank you all.

I really cannot emphasise just how good this company was, fast friendly service they sold my house within 5 weeks! Then the after care was excellent, Sarah from sales progression was a huge part not only in the smooth sale of my house but with our purchase of a new build. We didn’t have a very good solicitor but with Sarah’s help going above and beyond for us we completed in record time of just 9weeks total. Definitely recommend to use this company.

I called about a house listed in my area and was told i had a viewing booked for the following day. I arrived at the property but no one showed. When i called them, they told me to visit the office in Hanley. After arriving, 2 other customers were already waiting. No one tended either of us for over an hour while both receptionists messed around. Other staff did not take notices of the customers. After waiting over an hour to be seen, i was not seen by a housing agent but the receptionist, who told me the property listed i had asked about was gone. Who then handed me a piece of paper with unacceptable properties knowing full well i am homeless with children. No one or their listing had stated about a guarantor being required until we had out meeting lasting only 2 minutes. Complete waste of time, not helpful and i would not recommend this service to anyone looking for a home. Stay clear.

This company is terrible. They lie to you and prey on people in VULNERABLE and desperate situations. They say you need to pay advance and say its non refundable and when you sign up for it, they say you need to pay another month's rent up front too. The place they offered is a complete dump. There were rats in there that we had to get rid of. The front door lock doesn't work. The boiler stopped working in winter and there were leaks in the ceilings and windows so when it rained heavy, there would be puddles all in the house. They never respond to calls to get the repairs done but are very fast to call the day before rent is due to make sure money is paid. I have been with several estate agents and this 1 is by far the worst!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

Ben, Laura, Sam and Amy are absolutely excellent. Nicholas Humphreys were my estate agents in a student house a few years ago. I dropped them a message asking if they had any pet friendly properties available and they promptly replied and found a lovely property. They have great customer service and from my experience have always been excellent estate agents. As a student letting with them, they were honest, friendly and flexible. If you are looking for a property, they will do their very best to find exactly what you are looking for.

So far communication has been great from Laura and Amy: really responsive, professional, answering all our questions. We've (3 students) secured a place for next year, very happy so far!

I made the decision to switch across to Bairstow Eves after many months of trying to sell my home with a different local estate agents. The fantastic service I'd received from Elisha and Liam at Bairstow Eves was miles apart from what I'd received elsewhere. They managed to find a buyer in just over a week of it being listed with them, despite it being listed for around 5 months with another agent before hand. Both Liam and Elisha were fantastic with their customer service. Great communication, very personable, friendly and professional. I have dealt with many different estate agents in the past. I am very impressed with Bairstow Eves in Tamworth, particularly Elisha Bates. I have used Elisha for purchases and sales and can honestly say she is the best agent I have come across. She is very efficient, honest and forgets nothing! She does exactly what she says she is going to do and constantly keeps in touch providing updates. This may sound simple however in my experience this is a rarity among estate agents. Highly recommend Bairstow Cannock for letting out our Cannock house recently. Jo and Lydia at Leaders had been great help from start to finish. The whole process of us finding a property to rent and collecting the keys took just over a week and I was very happy with the professionalism and support they provided. I would highly recommend using Leaders Hartshill. They are also partnered with other professional companies i.e removal men/vans, insurance company, broadband and media company etc. so it was really easy to sort everything out before moving in as well as getting the best, competitive prices! I have used this estate agent to purchase a property. I highly recommend if you can speak to Rhys Keys he is a credit to the team with his happy enthusiastic attitude. He keeps everything simple and straight to the point. I did deal with other team members but some did over complicate things. When I spoke to Rhys again it was sorted. Hopefully I have future dealings with this agent.

From the initial meeting, to the way it was marketed (by far, better than any of the competitors), down to the viewings was faultless. We were fortunate to have had over 20 viewings booked in within the first couple of hours of our property going live online, which resulted in many offers which was fantastic - Andrew was proactive and efficient in securing us the best deal possible. Its been a very long process for us due to COVID but we got there in the end and Andrew was always on hand whenever we needed advise on things. Can not recommend Sure Sales enough.

Having just agreed a let with Sure Sales & Lettings Burton, I can happily recommend them. From the initial contact, through the virtual then physical viewings of the properties I had an interest in, I was impressed by all of the communications I had. This was led mainly by Rob Blakeman, who went beyond to secure me the tenancy I wanted, but all contact with the team has been very positive.

My house was put up for sale by my ex and his mother. My ex mother’s best friend put my house on the market who is sale manager at Webb’s. I was not informed my house was going on sale. I was informed or asked how much my house was going market for. The first week I was not informed by Webb’s any buyers that was going in to my house or any feed back. I was not emailed a sale letter off house when went on the market only when council asked for it to rehouse me. I was not informed when the surveyors was going to my house or given any feed back from them . They only start dealing with when told my ex I was not going pay the mortgage I would let bank take the house. I have near been treated so bad in my life by service that I was paying for.

Delayed my moving in date repeatedly. No hot water. No heating. Apartment was disgusting, the oven was so bad they bought a new one rather than clean it. Drug taking in the apartments. Neighbours having covid parties midweek until 3am weekly. The smell of cannabis in the halls. Fire doors propped open with bricks drawing in the freezing cold air. The bins area was so disgusting that special contractors came to clear it away .... then threats of charging me for it? Every single complaint made falls on deaf ears.....the only way to get a response is to threaten to withhold rent. When I complained they hadn't complied with providing a place fit for habitation and I wanted to leave I was threatened with legal action and withholding of my deposit making it impossible for me to afford to leave. Disgusting behaviour. Just want the monthly rent. Left in the dark for 5 days when I moved in. No hot water for over a week. No oven for over a week. Heating broken during the cold months. Complaints are totally ignored. I have each of my emails and messages and they still are yet to receive a reply.

Overall I was very happy with the service in finding new tenants for my property. There were times when I had to keep asking about progress, rather than it being given to me as it happened, and some errors such as not checking the current energy suppliers and therefore giving the tenants the wrong information, but the staff were courteous and friendly at all times and the charges are very reasonable.

Money Money Money Obsessed!!! If you are looking to rent from this organization then stay clear. They have left me feeling Depressed, Frustrated and very upset. After 2 years being a customer renting a home in Stafford for myself and my son who always paid on time even through Covid when I lost my employment I still managed to pay the rent and bills etc. All the visits they do and supposed to come every few months to check on the property always had positive feedback saying the house is being well looked after etc etc. WHEN YOU MOVE OUT. * Will try to keep your deposit money * Manager sends harsh emails * They seem to loose records of works people who attend the property for inspections or call outs etc. * Poor communication, you will constantly be sending emails or calling to get updates. * Once you have cleaned the property to how it was when you moved in they will say its not good enough and employ cleaners without your authorization to do so. I have many videos and pictures of how the property looks when I left it and I am more than happy with the standard and condition more than satisfactory. Actually an improvement to when I moved in. Manager sent me an email today being very abrupt and not even giving me a simple answer to one of my questions. My Question: I would like to know how many hours you are paying for the cleaner to clean just the bathroom. Managers answer: The cleaner will take as long as it takes! This is after I had taken 1 day off work to go to the property to clean and the bathroom was very clean. Think the landlady is trying to sell the property and just trying to keep as much money as she can. Trust me guys stay well clear, I am a decent human being who works hard and always pays my way through life. I would not be writing this if I feel I have someway left the property in a poor state, I have not and for that reason I am letting you guys know.
