We have been landlords of a single property for several years. Staff have always been extremely helpful and sorted out all issues as necessary, efficiently and professionally. I have had dealings with Glenn, Juliette, Emma, Lewis and Mark and they are always friendly and deal with everything promptly. No complaints at all and I would recommend.

It was a pleasure from start to finish, from trying to find the property to putting the key in the door. Joanne Smith and Tom Clarke managed the process of achieving a smooth transition short let for us. From the word go we were given constructive advise and steered through the hoops of getting the property and all certificates in place prior to the clients completing the let agreement. At all times professional, calm and constructive. We were very impressed at the communication for profiling and finding the right client for us. Documentation was a smooth process and further the detail of inventory report is impressive. All round we could not fault the management of achieving our let ,which is a large property. We would highly recommend the service and if we were to continue on this track would stay with this really professional team.

Worst experience out of any letting agents in Bath by far. Enquired about a property on Friday and was sent e-mail shortly after asking if Wednesday would work for a viewing and to confirm on Monday. Called on Monday and found out they are full on viewings - after explaining I was promised a viewing Katherine were helpful and squeezed me in. Come Tuesday I have received a generic e-mail from Fiona regarding property not being available any more and viewing cancelled with no follow up. On Wednesday 10 minutes before a supposed viewing I have received a call confirming whether to expect me - after explaining I won't be able to attend at such a short notice and was informed there is no point scheduling viewing for tomorrow as property will be most likely gone. Obviously they are in an administrative mess - stay away.

I highly recommend BCL having used them for eight years. Sue and Nathalie are very personable, efficient and their experience in the industry is borne out by my always having had lovely tenants who are the ‘right fit’ for my property. As an overseas landlord this is imperative and especially so during recent times. In July I have a new tenant moving in whom Nathalie secured within a week of the launch after a very positive response to the viewings she did. I have not had an issue with any of the team who for me all play their part to run a very good operation for both landlords and tenants.

The Property Ombudsman will be dealing with my case. I would recommend you find another agent. They don’t return your calls? you call nothing. You send email nothing. They take their bank details instead of yours on the contract and if there’s a problem they don’t deal with it. Absolutely dreadful. Even take keys to your property when they no longer are instructed too.

Terrible management company - do not use! They never responded to emails, ignored requests and work was clearly not completed on the flats, but they refused to send over proof of work. Really would avoid at all costs

Don’t respond to you unless you call them. Took months to get an inventory for the house.

Without actually writing an essay, all I can say is due to lack of information reported back, Which I communicated with a member of staff to be called back regarding a property I was interested in viewing, I asked for a call back, I never got a call back, I have missed out on a potential property that I’ve been meaning to view. So I waited for this call back, of which never happened, and so to my horror after I have sent an email to view the property again it’s now under offer. Is this acceptable, no, I appreciate we all make mistakes, and the replies I got, oh my goodness me, this is not the way to go about things .
