AVOID AT ALL COST Used Urpad to rent a property out and regretted it instantly. They never respond to your questions or queries and promise you call backs but never deliver. They do not care about their tenants at all. Dealt with Shannon who was patronising and seemed to have no clue whatsoever. Was also rude and kept interrupting and could not wait to get off the phone. They also will look for any excuse to retain your deposit so if you do decide to rent through them make sure you take photographic evidence before and after your tenancy. Dealt with David to get my deposit back and he made up extra charges and when asked for proof had nothing. Again no call backs or nothing and after a month of calling and chasing and lodging a dispute with My Deposits I finally got my deposit back. Not worth the time and effort and would not recommend! Unprofessional and dodgy.

I wouldn't even give them a 1 to be honest. They are terrible when you want answers. When we tried to move in on our tenancy date, the flat we were moving into had no furniture so we had to stay in a hotel for 3 days until they sorted a new room. The staff are very unprofessional and are very ignorant when you need answers. They tell you they will call you back about something but never do. They also don't give you access to your electric meters. Stay clear of Urpad they also changed their names 5 times since we moved in. Waste of space.

one month ago my work email details were stolen and used to leave the 5 star review above. Delighted with the service provided by Ian and his team. He works really hard for you and to help you to get the home of your choice. Ian gets to know his buyers and sellers. I have received a bespoke service. If you want customer service second to none when you are kept informed with kindness, humour, honesty and experience included this is the estate agent to use. I shall nominate him for Estate Agent of the year. Thank you Ian and your team I really appreciate all your hard work on my behalf. Success I have a great price for my price and the new home of my choice. Hoorah.

Really the most unprofessional agents I have ever dealt with. Total incompetence, I’ll informed and met with such childlike attitude. Their staff could do with a real shake up.

I don’t recommend this agent to work with mature students at the university because they don’t have much choices available at least in the beginning of 2020. I’ve booked twice with this estate agent and they cancelled them for reasons: the first was because they thought I’m not a mature student; and I’m wondering how a person told you I’m studying masters at the university can be not a mature student. The second time, they said the property has been taken so we had to cancel all viewings. I understand that the landowner has the final decision, but why I felt that this property were not targeted by more than just one person. They should have told me there are couple of applicants interested in the property so that I could have continued looking for another one. I think an estate agent should ask about the client desire so if they have to cancel a viewing they give different options even guide the client to another estate agent. The 2 stars is for the colour of the logo and keeping my frustration at the minimum. I’m sorry, I recommend this agent to people who come from gulf states for any reasons but I think I’m going to withdraw my recommendation.

We had a difficult and protracted house sale and purchase (no fault of the agent) which, if it hadn't been for the superhuman efforts of Joanna Jones at East of Exe, would have never happened. Joanna put in over and above what was required to get the house sale/purchase through for us, she was always contactable, always returned calls, always up to speed and on the case with the other parties. I would use East of Exe again without hesitation and thoroughly recommend them.
