A unique and time saving innovation. Thank you Mashroom. Refreshing and user friendly. So much easier than the traditional process. Hollie, in the sales progression team, was instrumental in getting our house purchase over the line. As first time buyers, we had limited knowledge of the process and Hollie was on hand to answer all our queries and provide useful information throughout. Towards the end of the process, where a number of issues higher up the chain seemed to stall progress, Hollie's expertise and ability to manage multiple parties really shone through. CJ Hole have helped in the process of helping me find a home. Their viewings team were polite, punctual and honest about properties we viewed with them. From the start in listing my property CJ Hole were really professional, polite and down to earth. Advising realistic expectations and understanding what I needed and what was happening in the market. Mitch was super helpful in my listing and viewings and helped with all issues. Once sold the support were great. There were some challenges from my buyers solicitors (pays to spend good money on a decent solicitor and not go with the cheapest) but Hollie supported me and chased daily to ensure It all went through. Overall the patience and support given was outstanding. A lovely team and estate agent to use. I'd highly recommend them . The after care received from Hollie was exceptional and made me feel very supported.

Very good service. Had a viewing with Finn who was really polite and friendly, encouraging but not pushy at all. I took the property, and then had a second viewing today just to check out some things, Finn again was patient and understanding, good conversation and knowledge. I did not feel like I was wasting his time or bothering him with a second viewing. Very good service from Finn. Also shout out to Charlotte who has been responsive and excellently helpful sorting out the contractual side.

RE – Ashton Rise I wish I can make 2 reviews because I received 2 varying services throughout the process of attempting to buy a property at Ashton Rise. I must thank Jim Biggins, as many stated on their website, for allowing me the opportunity to get a mortgage. He could have easily said no after looking at my finances but in the end, Jim was right for allowing me to get the mortgage, 5 stars. Now, onto the main issue. The 2 new build sales negotiators at Ashton Rise I felt were unprofessional from start to finish. I asked them questions regarding the plot I reserved. These questions were not hard/challenging at all, yet it seems like these 2 new build sales negotiators found it hard to answer them. I do not know whether this is because they do not know the answers to them or whether they do not know want to answer them. It does not matter either way because this lack of professionalism was felt throughout. Back last year, the biggest issue was that covid-19 happened causing everything across the world to stand still and buying a property was no exceptions. I was unfortunately one of many people at Ashton Rise to be backlogged due to a rise in mortgage applications and a race to beat the stamp duty holiday. Everything was moving slowly but, in the end, the directors at Ashton Rise decided to kick out me along with many people from their reserved plots because they cannot wait any longer. One of the new build sales negotiators said “Covid-19 is no longer a threat” before me losing my plot in December. The death toll was over 100k, yet it was no longer a threat according to him? It is only now (June 2021) that Covid-19 cases are down and not at the back end of 2020. Having been to several developers I can categorically say that the new build sales negotiators at Connells Southville are the worse in terms of customer services. If it was not for the BS3 postcode, these 2 would not be able to sell properties at all. I would not use their recommended solicitor too because everything you would not have hoped for in a conveyancing solicitor happened to me. I understand that there were certain activities prevented them from proceeding but at the same time they did not attempt to call me throughout from start to finish. I sent them the required £500 searches fee, but they did not even conduct any searches at all. After losing the plot, they did not even attempt to call me a final time and explain what has happened. I tried to call them many times afterwards, but it would have gone straight through to voicemail or kept on ringing until it got cut off. They did not even acknowledge my emails too. After this debacle I collected the reservation fee of £500 back at the start of the year. I held off from collecting the £500 in hope that the plot I reserved would be given back to me, but the plot was reserved to someone else, and they have already exchanged contracts by then. I collected the £500 back from Ashton Rise and talked to the new builds sales negotiator one final time before calling an end to this chapter. To my horror, 2 weeks after collecting my £500 back the reservation fee went straight back into their account! I got angry and called them back about what has happened. They said to me “This has been happening to a fair amount of people so we will refund you back”. Now, this sounds suspicious to me as if they knew this has been happening frequently. Surely if this a persistent problem, it should have been fixed. They did not even attempt to call me back after receiving the reservation fee back! I can imagine that many people got their reservation fee back to only have the card machine take it back later!

I used Connells Southville Bristol to purchase my first home and the service offered was very professional. One of the sales advisor, Nitin, was exceptional and took his time answering my questions. Nitin understood what I wanted and when we found the property, he was exceptional in his dealings with myself and the seller to secure the property. I will highly recommend their services.
