Miles and Barr Ramsgate have done an exceptional job selling my mums house this year. They were extremely helpful and professional throughout the process. They have also been exceedingly beneficial finding the perfect property for us. Would highly recommend.

Excellent service from all of the staff at Miles & Barr Ramsgate who were originally just assisting me with finding a new home. At the last moment I changed to them also selling my property and within days it had sold. A massive thank you to James, Giuseppe, Jack, Rebecca, Charlotte, Anne-Marie and George. They really are the most knowledgeable agents regarding properties in Ramsgate. Always treating you as if you are their only client with regards to needs and requirements. I think fees are very fair. I went to another agent originally where you have to pay fees upfront if you do not use their recommended solicitors. I lost that money but so happy that I went to a professional agents in the end

I recently brought and sold through Miles and Barr and I was really pleased with the outcome. They secure an out of town buyer at the price I was looking for and the whole process was managed very well by James Perks and his team. I continuously received calls from Anne-Marie in the sales department with new properties and I received feedback after viewings on my property. Lucy recently let one of my properties in Ramsgate. From the start through to handing over the keys to the new tenants, Lucy provided a seamless and professional service. As a landlord of over 20 years I would say the service and customer experience rates as the best I've received.

Avoid at all cost. Scammers.

After I've sent my holding fee, I didn't get any reply from them, even though I called after a week to see when I will sign the contract, I was told that I will be called back. Every day I was calling and every day I was told I will get a call back. After 3 weeks I sent an email asking for a moving date, no reply whatsoever. After other 2 days I sent them an email requesting my money back since it was more than 15 days since they were holding it. I had to call a few hours later telling them to check their email. Emails and phones are mandatory in this business. No communication, no replies, no updates on the situation. Don't be fool by the friendly faces, they lack of professionalism. And even though "the landlord is not allowed to kick me out of the house without a court order", that doesn't mean I have go through all that because of the rudeness and incompetence of others. Avoid this company if you want to move on time.

Avoid with all costs, rude liars, do anything to make you feel bad, treat you really bad without any care or compassion, dust on shelves results in losing your deposit. Get permission to decorate then complain that you have and deny all records of letting you. Constantly making excuses on why nobody has turned up to fix things after reporting them, was left with no heating through winter for over week as boiler broke, called them every day and was told different excuse each time why nobody will fix that day AVOID AVOID AVOID

‘I’ve lost the Lovetts’ Very disappointing, I used Lovetts (Ramsgate branch) in a purchase of a property that turned out to have a roof leak when I inspected the place for the 1st time after making an offer, but prior to sale. We agreed that the roof leak would be sorted. The estate agent used their own preferred roofing co. to address the problem and despite the assurance (on the roofer’s invoice) of ‘leaving (the roof) watertight’, I still have water running into my bedroom. At the time of writing, long after ignoring my emails, they have chosen to (quote) ‘step away’ from my problem.
