Very good service! I've been struggling to find a place to live as I am a student and some places turned me away without a second thought. Charters secured viewings at several properties and were willing to talk to the owners for me to ensure I secured a tenancy.

Hannah Wood has been an absolute gem to work with! She really listened to what we wanted out of a home and went away and found us a beautiful little cottage with all the whimsy and charm we were looking for. She’s diligent, on top of every email, call, and inquiry and always responds in a speedy fashion. Not everyone at Romans have been as attentive, contactable, or responsive so we have been super lucky to work with her. Excellent service and total superstar!

I couldn't praise the service I have received from Romans more. Particularly the letting agent helping us through the process, Annie. This was our first property after University and we were still looking to share with friends, which made it very difficult to find somewhere which would accept sharers. Despite this, Annie, went above and beyond to support us through the process and was not only unbelievably helpful, she was also very understanding of our position. From start to finish she was bubbly, friendly and gave us some hope of securing a property. Their no deposit option and benefits are also perfect for people in our position who are first time renters. Highly recommend!

As a group of friends looking to rent as professional sharers we ran into so many obstacles in finding a property. It felt like most estate agents couldn't wait to get us off the phone but thankfully this was not the case with Annie and the rest of the team at Romans. They have been open and swift in their communication with everything from the viewing of our current property (which we are very happy with), the signing of documentation to the move in. It has been a breeze. Particularly liaising with Annie was incredibly refreshing as she was incredibly knowledgeable about our property and had all the answers we were looking for. All round excellent service from Michelle and her team in the lettings department. Harry Crisp gets an extra shout out for going above and beyond, offering to personally go and run a hoover to clear up any debris, prior to tenants checking in. It has been a pleasure dealing with Michelle, and Harry as they have been very efficient, and speedy replying to communications, and helpful in advising on landlord issues. We are very impressed by their service, and happy we have made the jump from a different lettings agency.

When Haley Prescott from Savills, Winchester, came to view the property we were selling, I was impressed from the outset by her professionalism. Communication was excellent and we felt we were in a very safe pair of hands throughout - sensible and unflappable despite a number of unexpected hurdles! 5 stars is definitely deserved!

No hard selling or empty promises, just good solid facts that he made good on. After more than a decade of renting various properties across the UK from both private owners and letting agencies I am eager to say that It is rather hard to find better service than what Belgarum offers. At every step of my journey with them, I have received excellent service, support and informative advice which left me - what is unusual in that business, with a positive feeling after my checkout. Contact with the office was always smooth, never had to wait more than a few hours for a reply to my emails and they even helped me to arrange white goods delivery and installation at some point. Highly recommended as a letting agency.

I just bought a property via Belgarum and they have been fantastic from start to finish. Alex was friendly, positive and supportive, starting with the negotiations which were wrapped up in only a few hours. She made sure things kept moving throughout - even on the sale of my previous house whenever things went quiet on the other side. It was a relief to be in such safe hands. At the best of times, buying a house is stressful, but whilst juggling the house sale/purchase and working full time, I never had to worry if things were moving along. Despite buying at the lower end of the market, I didn't feel like I was treated as such, I was always taken care of and kept in the loop. We used Belgarum to sell our home and could not have asked for more. From the first moment I spoke with them they were polite and invested in helping us move. The valuation was given using not only rightmove (it seems every agent prints off the same stuff) but also their own experience and knowledge (which you can’t buy!). We were on the market for 10 days and had 20 viewings. All feedback was given without me having to chase them (huge when you think each viewing might be your sale!). They took all of the stress out of it for us. We agreed a sale to the right buyers at the right price (no rush for us to take the first offer, they made sure we got what we needed). All of that was brilliant but then you get introduced to their sales chaser Harriet, who was out of this world! Dealing not only with our sale but also doing everything she could to help with our purchase as well. (Even though it wasn’t through Belgarum). There was a couple of hick ups along the way (mainly from the person we were buying from) and Harriet dealt with all of it, even when she wasn’t around Paul then jumped in and made sure that the problems got solved and everything was communicated to our buyers. It’s been a crazy year considering wants been going on and I could not recommend Belgarum highly enough. Thank you!
