The dishonesty and insincerity was very disappointing. We called on Saturday to inquire about a rental property. We stressed that we are very happy with the property and will take it as soon as the landlord has confirmed the one question we had about the property. We were told that there are currently no interests which is why we didn’t immediately press for a viewing since we have already decided to take the property. We mentioned multiple times that we are willing to pay upfront of 6-12 months to secure the property. Your staff took our contact information and informed us that she will contact the landlord as soon as possible. Since we are abroad, we provided our email and she made sure that she will contact us as soon as she got in touch with the landlord. We did not receive an email on Saturday, Sunday or Monday. We called around noon on Monday to follow up only to find that the house has already been taken. We were ready sign the contract immediately once we received an answer from the landlord. When we asked why we never received an email confirmation or updates from the landlord, it turns out our contact information was never registered in the system. In addition, there was a house viewing on Sunday that we were not informed of when we called on Saturday. We asked when the reservation was made, the staff initially said Saturday then immediately “corrected” herself to Wednesday after we confronted that when we called that day to inquire about any other interests in the house we were told there were none. We did not receive a sincere apology for the mistake that your company has made. This is unacceptable and we are very disappointed in your service.

We used SBK for the sale of our old house and purchase of our new one. They were everything you’d hope for from a property consultancy and more. Never pushy, incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and personable. Moving house is always going to be a stressful occasion but with the guidance and support of all the staff at SBK it was certainly as smooth and straightforward as possible. My previous experiences with Estate Agents have not been great but Phil, Chelsie, Peter and the whole SBK team were brilliant. Their key strength is professionalism and communication - keeping us informed all the way. Once we'd got an offer on our house, in the past our experience was that's when you don't hear anymore from Estate Agents as they consider it job done. Totally not the case with SBK. From the start to finish of our house sale our customer journey and experience was top notch. We were treated as individuals and were never given the brush off. So much so that even our buyer commented on how good SBK were at keeping them in the loop too! Definitely a case of being worth every penny. I'm also a great believer in supporting local businesses as opposed to large multi national faceless organisations. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them - even their For Sale signs are superior to the others in terms of eye catching colours!

The team at Walker & Waterer were professional throughout the buying process, and believe me there were many twists and knots in the road! Kirby, Tom and Harrison stood out the most and remained diligent and professional at all times with excellent communication to all parties. What you have here is a quality team, with good local knowledge and a healthy dosage of empathy, which is important when experiencing what can be a very stressful time. Nothing is straight forward when dealing with people and property, and I highly recommend Walker & Waterer to anyone whether you are buying or selling.

We used Walker and Waterer to sell our property and they were also selling the property we purchased. The team were on it the whole way through the process and helped to make sure it went smoothly and as efficiently as possible, despite a seemingly inept solicitor within the chain. Terry was particularly excellent throughout the negotiation of our sale, and Kirby was fantastic with the administration side of things throughout the process. I highly recommend.

We used Walker & Waterer to sell our house in Whiteley. Of course, there are plenty of cheaper options available now but we really didn't want the hassle of viewings etc., and was impressed with W&W from the outset with their professional approach and open communication. Most of our dealings were with Kelly who was excellent throughout. She handled most viewings and provided us feedback, as applicable. Ultimately, our house sold in good time and that is all you can ask for. No hassle and we'd happily recommend Walker & Waterer to anyone looking for an estate agent for Whiteley and surrounding area.

DO NOT RENT THROUGH BEALS! Myself and my girlfiend viewed a property with Beals numerous times and put down a holidng deposit. Our referencing went though as normal and we were all set to move in. The estate agent then couldnt get hold of the landlord for weeks to ' confirm our tenancy' yet we were told everything is going as planned and we had nothing to worry about as he lived in america so it can be hard with different times. We understood this and as we were told everything will be fine we gave notice to our current landlord. BIG MISTAKE! 4 days before we were due to move in we were told they cannot get hold of the landlord (barring in mind there is new tennants moving into our current property) ovbiously we were devistated and didnt understand how this could happen but put it down too him deciding to rent privatley and it was agreed this is most likely the case. Much to our disbelief as our moving date is meant to be THIS Friday they have re-put the ad on Rightmove and given us no explanation!!! We are have protentially been made homeless through this Estate Agent for absolutley no given reason and I wouldnt want anybody to go through the stress we have because it has really had an impact on my mental health. Please be careful when renting through Beals, we will not make this mistake again.

Rung on Friday to book a viewing for three days later on Monday at 6pm. Was told if I dont hear back that the booking was confirmed. I rung Monday morning (today) to make sure the viewing is definitely booked. The same guy that answered Friday answered the phone. He told me "Literally just spoke to the house owners and they say the 6pm viewing is fine". He then rings me about a minute later to say the house has been let. A bit strange since he had JUST spoke to them......

I rented my flat in Southampton via Brook Letting and can confidently say they have been the best estate agent I've dealt with. For perspective, I have previously used the three biggest agents in Southampton and always felt a bit cheated especially considering the huge fees I've had to pay and unreasonable deposit deductions as well as service. But with Brook, the fees were half of the big three, their professionalism was above and beyond what I've previously experienced and on top of that, they are extremely helpful! I moved into a new build and there were a few issues in the beginning, but James and Scott was super quick to get the landlord involved and the "issues" were resolved within a day or two. I have now finished my contract with Brook and as I'm departing this chapter I want to give credit where credit is due! I can highly recommend the lettings team of Brook Independent! Thank you for the last 2 1/2 years! It was been my pleasure dealing with you guys! Cheers, Hanna & Shane

We originally purchased our first house through Brooks back in 2009 and when it came to selling recently we had no hesitation in using Brooks again. They were professional and kept us in the loop throughout the whole process. Would definitely recommend them.

I would not advise anyone to sell their house with this company. These are my reasons from my review: Website: Shocking and outdated. Post viewing feedback: Non-existent unless you chase. Even then, extremely vague. Laziness: Overly reliant on simply posting on Rightmove and their “micro site” that links from there, which was poorly done. They actually told me they rely on posting on Rightmove and literally do nothing else Poor copy: I ended up having to write the text for the house page myself. This resulted in increased viewings. Lack of effort: When I pressed on what is being done to sell my home, they asked me what I would do to help sell it ... they are supposed to be the experts, not me. Unreliable: Even when I stopped using them and ended my contract, they failed to remove my house from websites until 3 days later; and that would have been longer if I had not asked them about it. they didn't notice This clearly shows a lack of urgency, care or attention to detail. Overall, I felt that the only time viewings happened was when I chased them. Very little was done, there was no care or passion to sell my house and ultimately, they failed and wasted my time. 24 hours after using a different estate agent I had more viewings booked in than the whole contract period with Taylor Hill and Bond. I cannot comment on what it is like to buy through them, but I would hazard a guess that the experience would be similar. As such, I would not even consider it.

We have recently completed on the sale of our home through Taylor Hill and Bond and we couldn’t recommend them enough. Andrew and Sandy were extremely thoughtful when booking viewings to suit our requirements and all viewings were attended on time. Whilst the property was on the market the communications were extremely easy and feedback was always received swiftly and chased where necessary. After the offer was accepted Sophie personally chased the mater through to completion and made the whole process a lot less stressful. A very professional, polite, and caring team and thanks to this if we ever sell again we won’t hesitate to contact Taylor Hill and Bond.

Can't recommend Taylor Hill & Bond highly enough. They have been superb to deal with during the purchase of our new home.
