3 letting agents in Rye

Absolutely horrendous experience We rented a house in November and have had nothing but problems since day one Main problem is that as they say they act as “facilitator “ for the property.Which in plain English means they collect the rent and to hell with maintenance issues. We are informed that the landlord will handle maintenance issues.Quite frankly he does not. Letting agent totally lied to us about issues raised before we moved in.Reeds Rains do have a maintenance Department..based in Southampton and not fit for purpose. Had the issues regarding maintenance been disclosed prior to renting we definitely would have gone elsewhere Legal discussions are ongoing and we will be seeking compensation. Would NEVER entertain Reeds Rains again

Reeds Rains Rye have been excellent. We bought our property through them and they had endless patience with what turned out to be e protracted purchase. We have also used them to find our tenants. So far they have given us the best service and found the best tenants for us. Lydia was incredibly helpful-making sure that our tenants understood all of the paperwork. We have also found the local knowledge of the staff invaluable.

Disappointed after emailing them I didn't even get an acknowledgement, would say time are unusual and difficult but this didn't stop them from putting the to let sign up,and emailing can be done from home.
