10 letting agents in Windsor

Dealt with Josh Nadin in lettings. Unfortunately didn't find through him in the end, but he was the only agent out of 5/6 estate agents I registered with in the Windsor area who was proactively trying to make something work for me. Always followed up on details sent & was letting me know about properties prior to them going on the market.

Property sale with Pierce at Romans in Windsor has been excellent, Property sale was agreed before full marketing, Pierces communication and responsiveness to queries has been of a high standard. Would recommend the services for house sales.

I rent in Windsor via Romans. Smooth experience from the beginning, very responsive. During my tenancy they were reachable and communicated in timely manners whenever I needed something. Denied a viewing on a property in Windsor regardless of the sellers having not accepted an offer. Reasons provided were illogical. Can only assume it was to assist another buyer on their books. Odd behaviour.

Excellent communications from the office staff; I always knew I'd get a swift and helpful response from Victoria or Emilia to any query. Area for improvement: it would be helpful to have a little more information when starting the rental than merely a quick hand-over of keys. To take just one example: a quick explanation of the little black toggle on the key ring (which opens the gate from the housing block to the shopping centre) would have been most useful!

I have just sold a house in Windsor with Hamilton Chess and it could not of been more easy. They visited house, explained how they worked out a market appraisal and I agreed to go sole agent with them, they took good pictures a few days later and it was on the market two days after that. They organised about 10 viewings over the following 2 weeks and the house was under offer at just 3% below asking price by proceedable person, I accepted that offer. A few minor issues popped up over the initial few weeks after offer accepted and Hamilton Chess sorted these out with minimal fuss in a professional manor and kept everyone informed at all stages allowing stress levels to remain low. Even in this busy period(March/April2021), it only took about 10/11 weeks from offer accepted to house sold/completed. My thanks to the team there, you did a great job, I would certainly use your services again and recommend you guys to friends and family. Cheers Albert.

Rented a property in central Windsor for just over 3 years via Hamilton and had no issues what so ever with them. Really efficient moving in, and the same moving out. A special mention to Mike Martin - great service throughout our time. Would recommend Hamilton to anyone.

Selling a house is supposed to be THE most stressful life experience. The whole process is somewhat daunting with so many unknowns. Hamilton Chess have proved that this does not have to be true. Rav was able to put our minds at ease right from the beginning of the process, advising a clear route to the successful marketing of the house. Rav and his team continued to be friendly, professional and easy to contact and deal with at all times. Important question..... Have we sold the house? Yes, It took 3 days. Now it's over to the solicitor's team. Let us hope they perform as well.

The Marshalls team went above and beyond to help me move into my dream flat in Windsor! Emili who first showed be around the property was both professional and very approachable and was patient with me when I chased her up on the progress off my offer ! I recently switched agents to Marshalls to manage my property in Windsor. I live in the USA and have done so for many years. I am very pleased with the service I have had from the Marshall's team these last few months. From finding a tenant, to managing the transition from another agent to helping me get the property ready for occupancy, the team at Marshalls has been great. As an overseas owner/landlord, the most important thing I need is clear communication. I have been in regular contact with the team via phone and email and they have explained very clearly what they needed from me without being burdensome. I went to Windsor branch couple of days ago to enquire about an investment property. Some pompous (I believe a manager) opened a door and before I even finished speaking he cut me off saying it’s not their property and shut the door in my face !! Well if he only let me finished I would have explained I was looking for something similar to it, as the property in question was already sold. I suppose I wasn’t dressed up for the occasion as I was wearing a tracksuit. I went next door to Romans where friendly staff provided me with an excellent service. This is how you lose business. Well done !!

Frost have successfully rented out our flat for us in 24hours, where another agent failed to come up with any suitable tenants. Sinead was amazing, professional and very efficient. I am very impressed.

Worse estate agent I have ever used. Found a flat that they advertised with bills included and I decided to go for it. I proceeded to pay the holding deposit on 31st December. When giving my move in date 9 days later, the agent that was dealing with this flat starts telling me about meters and how the bills are split (bearing in mind that I would have to share a water and electricity meter with two commercial properties). I asked her if the bills were still included and it took her 5 days to reply and tell me that the landlord changed his mind. They had no sympathy for the fact that I was about to have nowhere to stay and no solution. I then asked her to return the money but she tried negotiating but I would still have to pay “my share” of the meter bills. Don’t go with them. Their customer service skills are terrible and they are rude. Even asking a simple question about the tenancy fees, I felt like I was annoying them. And the lack of communication shows how unorganised and unprofessional they are.

I was with them for nearly two years and only moved when the property was put up for sale. Very prompt with dealing with issues and extremely fair with issues during lockdown and when vacating the property. I highly recommend them.

I have been a tenant with Murray management for the past 1 year and 3 months. Duncan and team were quite helpful for sorting the issues in the property. Quite responsive in fixing things. Clear professionalism was maintained even whilst vacating the property. They charged me appropriately amount for the cleaning and wear tear compensation as well. Unfortunately need to end the tenancy since I am moving out of the country. Not sure why negative reviews were put forward. Overall a good experience with the Murray and management team. Keep up the good work.

I rented a 3 bedroom house through Karen and the team for about 2 years. Great local estate agents - very good at responding, regardless of the query. Unsure about negative reviews - could just be a case of unfortunate circumstances. Thanks again for a great 2 years!

I first moved into a property managed by Murray Management in 1995. I rented with them for three years before moving to a flat in Windsor (managed by them) for two further years. In the early 2000s I rented again in Windsor for one year while renovating a property, and 5 or 6 years later I rented two properties in Maidenhead from them. As a tenant they were fantastic, flexible and always cared about my needs. I liked that they were interested in the tenant, not just the landlord. When my family decided to move abroad in 2011 we became landlords through Murray Management and have found them tremendously supportive, renting our house with no problems for the past 6 years... They aren't flashy estate agents. They really care for people they do business with and I'm really grateful to Karen, Duncan and the team for everything they have done to help me over the past 20 + years.

One can only judge an Estate Agent on the basis of the agent that handles your particular transaction. In my case it was Louisa Collins, who was nothing other than professional throughout the entire process of the search and buy process. No firm and no-one is ever perfect of course, but whenever she didn’t manage to get back to me immediately, it was always with an apology. Critically, she was more accessible as we got to the Exchange juncture. We got there in the end, and it was nice to be greeted by the entire Hardings team when I went to collect the keys of my new home in Windsor.

I would highly recommend Hardings Estate Agents. They have excellent knowledge of Windsor and the surrounding areas, and are extremely professional, responsive and courteous. I would not hesitate to using them again the future. I recently dealt with Milica who was instrumental in securing us our new home in Windsor as well as the sale of our existing property. Endless phone calls and emails aside - Chancellors are fatally let down by the 'South East Management' team when it comes to managed lettings. I opted for the 'fully managed' option for an easy life, yet 'INFURIATING' is probably the only word to describe what it's like dealing with them, thus unfortunately, I cannot recommend strongly enough that you avoid Chancellors for lettings. Unfortunate, because the in branch agents themselves are actually good at their jobs.

A big thanks to Philip and the Windsor team. Fantastic customer service! Very friendly and professional in the way they treated me and helped me. Nothing was ever to much trouble. I recommend using Chancellors if you are looking to either buy or sell.
