Jack from Romans lettings has been super helpful throughout the process. He's kept up us to date prior to the move as to where we were at with any documentation outstanding. Whilst trying to find our forever home Josh Milam of Sears has been a great help. He is the first to phone me to tell me about properties and set up viewings even before they’re out to advert in every effort to help us find the perfect home. I have rented out my property through Sears for nearly three year now. I have been very happy with the service they have provided. After starting a family we decided to put our flat on the market in order to buy somewhere with more space. Prospect were amazing throughout, and were able to generate much more interest and viewings than any other agent we had used. Unfortunately, we were unable to sell, due to the market at the time (Covid) so instead decided to let the property. It was initially with another agent who had it for some time and we therefore gave it to Prospect. Prospect generated several viewings and ultimately secured us tenants within 24 hours of having it! Prospect sold my house a few months ago. It was a long, at times stressful process. Adam Selzer- Williams impressed me as he was so full of enthusiasm, friendly and helpful. Calum Radcliffe was also very professional and patient. He composed some good emails on my behalf when negotiating and without him I think the sale may have fallen through. We recently sold our house with Prospect a week after putting it on the market and achieved full asking price. Prospect have been extremely efficient and on the ball! They answer your calls promptly and always get back to you as soon as possible. I’ve moved into a property to find out 1 week later that there was a mice infestation !! I have a 1 year old baby so this has been a traumatic experience. They won’t return any money for fighting with pest !! No one wants to cover the fees of a ,fully managed’ property. It’s a laugh (or rather cry). All my new furniture - a brand new white sofa was full of mice droppings after just 2 weeks. Chancellors did nothing, the landlord pretended to do something but in fact he did very little - he only brought 1 decorator versus mine 10, bought only 2 mice poisons versus mine 6, he brought only 2 glue traps versus mine 40. I’ve spent over £500 to fight this problem, called in the pest control company and finally I’ve managed to stop them coming into the property (there’s still plenty living in walls and floors so it might be a matter of time for them to come back). 6 different flats moved out of this building over the past 6 weeks. It’s some kind of a nightmare. A ,fully managed’ property but yet I have to speak to the landlord in person and he is letting himself in and out of the property and mailbox whenever he feels like. They take photos of each property and all your belongings every 6 months - so intimidating. No wonder they’ve had such issues with the previous people who lived here. Watch out, I’m really disappointed.

My sister and I have had a great experience when choosing to sell with Chancellors. We have appreciated how our agent (Paul) personally kept us up to date and informed along the whole process. We haven’t had the smoothest of experiences with other estate agents in the past so we really appreciated the hard work and effort put in by Paul and his team at Chancellors.
