Mashroom
21 Navigation Business Village Navigation Way, Preston, Lancashire, North West, England, PR2 2YP
Listed and Rented out in less than 6 hours! Well done Mashroom. Excellent service provided by Mashroom, good clear dashboard for managing appointments and subsequent offers!! I would never use a High Street Estate Agency to market for me again. I look forward to using Mashroom in the future.
Amazing customer service, couldn’t believe it was free! Debbie was amazing every step of the way making a very daunting process much less stressful. Would recommend to anyone over an estate agent and still astonished I’ve not had to pay any fees for all of her help!
User-friendly, great future-proof platform. Easy to use and upload properties. The dashboard allows straight forward communication with guests. Really helpful members of the team who were always available to answer questions re: using Mashroom.
A unique and time saving innovation. Thank you Mashroom. Refreshing and user friendly. So much easier than the traditional process. Being able to speak to the landlords direct and building a relationship of trust early on I found to be hugely beneficial. At last, a unique and time saving innovation.
Mashroom was recommended to me and I’d gladly recommend them to anyone. From the first interaction with Mashroom I knew I'd chosen the right people to help me let my flat. Within one week of advertising it, I had two offers, even one offering more than I was asking for. I never thought an end-to-end process of 15 days would be possible...

Haslams Estate Agents
159 Friar St, Reading, Berkshire, South East, England, RG1 1HE
I will be honest, and this could be due to my recent experience with other agents around Reading but i was not expecting a service that made me question that there is still professional services out that take care of people and look after them how it should be done. Katie Wild from the first day we spoke was absolutely amazing from her mannerism to her professionalism. I would have given higher star ratings if it were possible. So far through out our dealings with her she has been very knowledgeable, proactive, welcoming, understanding, professional, informative and most of all true to her word. She has made the whole experience of finding a property, helping ensure we are happy with the property and also the whole process of acquiring the property a walk in the park for us. We honestly can not thank her enough and really look forward to keeping in contact with such a trustworthy person in the future. She is a real charm for Haslams and i am sure they are very proud of her. Thanks for representing Haslams so well and with your own fine touch. I would recommend Haslams to anyone, all the staff that i have spoken to so far have been great.
I have recently had dealings with Haslams Estate Agents, and highly recommend them. Their professionalism and amazing service and attention to detail are outstanding. The staff are very courteous, supportive, knowledgeable and work as a team. My thanks to all the staff, and a special thanks to Mr. Paul Hayhow, who, without doubt is an asset to the company. His ethics and principals are exemplary, as with his advice – invaluable. Despite many challenges that came up, Paul’s positive attitude was inspirational. He consistently followed up and provided up to date information, which gave a positive and favourable result.
Katie Wild at The Haslams Estate Agents Ltd has been excellent. She is very professional and always literate. Her knowledge and advice was exceptional. She really knew her field of work. Nothing was ever to much trouble, no question was ever a stupid question. Easy to contact. If there was an issue, a quick phone call and it was resolved straight away. If you want a hassle free way of renting a property. Then use Katie Wild. I look forward to working with her more in the future. Highly recommend.
Claire S. (client manager) helped me recently with the check out process. She was very professional and responsive. She clearly explained me all the steps that needed to be done before the deposit release and she was answering all the questions I had. She was keeping me updated throughout the whole process. At the end, she gave me the best news, that I would get the whole deposit amount back! I would definitely recommend Claire and I hope guys you are as lucky as me having her assisting you with your check out.
Great service from Haslams. We have been with them for just under three years. Michele has been very responsive and the overall team is great. Particularly, Claire Seymour is exceptional in her customer service. She goes the extra mile and is always very responsive. She guides well in situations which helps a lot as we do not live in the country and know some of the things needed for renting out our property. Well done, Claire! Keep it up.

Romans - Reading
33-34 Market Pl, Reading, Berkshire, South East, England, RG1 2DE
My wife and I moved to Reading in June 2020 for work and rented a property through Romans on a 12 month contract. Despite the difficulties during these early days of the pandemic, Romans were very communicative and helpful to ensure our move in was as smooth as possible. Having lived in the property for a year, we have continued to receive outstanding service from the staff, in particular our property manager Kimberley who has always been available to answer calls and emails, solving any issues we have come across swiftly and successfully. Overall the entire team have been friendly and considerate to talk to, even now whilst arranging viewings for the next tenants that will move in after our contract ends. It has been very refreshing to deal with an agency who are so thorough and efficient, and I would highly recommend them to anybody looking to move into the area.
My property manager is so efficient and helpful that I was impelled to provide some feedback. I had an issue re a leaking water tank and she came to my rescue as always. So a big thank you to Kimberley Garcia Jones, she is a credit to Romans. Please pass on my gratitude for her support and friendly service.
I would like to write my experience with Romans during my time in let property. I was really impressed by fast responses when started with my tenancy, also everything went really easy and smoothly. Always when I required any clarification I got answers and help really fast. The best of all was support from my allocated property inspector Anita Jones. She is really the best person who always was kind and helpful when dealing with any issues within property or when I had any query for landlord. She is just absolutely amazing. I wish all branch and mainly to Anita a lot of health and keep up good work. Thank you all.
Thank you to the lettings team for renting out our property so quickly and smoothly. Our new tenant is in good hands with the fully managed service - Kimberley Garcia. Any maintenance issues are reported quickly, Kimberley is always there to help us fix all scenarios that arise. Professional positive experience!
Sarah (new at move in) and Cameron have been very helpful during the move in period. Though I had an overall negative experience due to the landlord activities, I always felt as though Cameron and Sarah (despite being busy due to the pandemic) were doing everything they could and respected any wishes/concerns I had. I will say communication could have been better around contract set up, I had to be quite proactive at this time. Edit (9 months in toward end of tenancy) - During my time in the tenancy I fell as though Sarah has done the most she can to support me despite having a difficult landlord. I always appreciate this level of support.

Jones Robinson
118 Bartholomew St, Newbury, Berkshire, South East, England, RG14 5DT
I cannot fault Jones Robinson for providing a first class service. They are very proactive, professional and friendly. All staff were committed to the sale of our property and conducted themselves in a polite, respectful manner. We are now settling in to our new home and are very thankful for a stress free experience. Well done Jones Robinson.
Excellent company to do business with, doesn't matter which member of staff as they are all really professional but with a personal touch too, although we always ask for Lettings Manager Sian who never fails us and is always just a call away for advice on Lettings even when it was a family members flat miles in London miles out of the area and with a different agent, this is customer service and going the extra mile. We have used them to find new tenants more than 12 times now, Jones Robinson have always found a tenant for us within a couple of days, 50% of the time within hours of going on the market. They are now perhaps a little more expensive than others but maybe you get what you pay for here.
I spoke with Lucy she is the most kindest professional person I have ever come across she went the extra mile to help me with renting my first property. Made it seem so simple and easy I can't thank her enough. I would recommend using this company especially Lucy.
Had a really good experience from beginning to end. Paul, who showed us round our new property, was really helpful and nice. Paula was really good in terms of the completion of the property and went out of her way to help. The team in the office also came across very friendly and helpful.
Not Stephen, but Rachel [?!] I just wanted to leave a review to commend the service I received as a first time single buyer. I contacted Jones Robinson in May regarding wanting to explore my options and originally spoke to Mollie who went above and beyond for me. In fact, every member of the team I met with and spoke to either over the phone or on email made the whole searching process easy. The calls were informative and helpful, all criteria's were acknowledged and understood so there was no repeating, in a nut-shell they really listened. I originally contacted all other estate agents in the Newbury area and I either got no response or a very, very delayed, lacklustre response. I felt as if the people at Jones Robinson actually cared about the people they were helping to find properties, not just the usual sales jargon! There was no questions that were trouble and every time I engaged with anyone at Jones Robinson I felt that their customer service superseded all other estate agents. I cannot rate them enough. It can be stressful and nerve-wracking buying your own property, especially for the first time independently, but everyone at Jones Robinson were always available to assist. Special mentions to Mollie, who was delightful, thoughtful and made the process a lot less daunting - suggesting a variety of schemes and properties that would be suited to me personally. Also Beth, Amber and Andrew for assisting with getting me booked in and showing me around the properties. Every time I would call up the staff were always cheerful and happy to help, which makes such a big difference. I would also like to commend them for making the viewings possible and easy despite the pandemic as they provided clear guidelines. To reiterate, their cheerfulness in this uncertain time made every viewing a more pleasant experience. Jones Robinson certainly outshone all the other estate agents in Newbury, I will be sure to recommend them and use them again in the future.

Prospect Reading

very helpful when trying to move you in, a nightmare when checking out. Held the deposit for about a month after checking out, even though fully aware that there is a pandemic and that money is crucial. will try to squeeze as much as they can out of your deposits. You're only valuable to them if they see you as a potential tenant.
Did everything that a property agency should do. Service was fine, but nothing above and beyond what was required. Wouldn't actively recommend them, but i wouldn't advise people not to use them if they asked me. Kept in good and regular contact, arranged everything very quickly, phoning between myself and the landlord with things like extra questions, offers, deadlines etc often within the same hour to facilitate the deal. They did end up chasing me to get me to chase my referees when i had already provided them with full contact details of my previous letting agency as well as the landlord, after which it turned out the new landlord was yet to provide all the documents necessary. Pleasant phone manner from many people in the company. I am also leaving this review on request as they apparently have a drive to get "ideally 5* reviews" to here and another ratings site. May update this review once we have to check out.
Sasha Allen has recently dealt with the renewal of a tenancy at one of my properties. She was aware of all that needed to be done and pressed to ensure that everything was completed within the required time frame. Excellent communication skills and efficient manner. It was a pleasure to have her handle my business.
Mr. Kurt (agent from Prospect) has provided us very quick and 1-to-1 exclusive service and helped us find a nice apartment very quickly. He was there to clarify our queries and confusions and always ready to help by directing us to the right people when he is not around or busy in meetings which were really helpful. Overall I am satisfied with the experience that I had with Mr. Kurt and Prospect as a company until now.
Overall a superb experience. Quick and helpful responses and advise. Kurt Owen handled everything promptly and professionally. This is more than ever appreciated, considering the current situation in the middle of a pandemic. He really goes the extra mile!

Romans - Tilehurst
30 School Rd, Reading, Berkshire, South East, England, RG31 5AN
Had a really quick response to a property we were interested in renting and was able to get a viewing the same day. Elizabeth met us at the property and showed us around. Once we decided to go for this property, everything was so quick and smooth. Elizabeth was super friendly and helpful and was clear about everything!
My experience with the Tilehurst branch of Romans has been wonderful! Elizabeth made my moving process so exciting and effortless. She was incredibly friendly and professional and she always answered any questions I had quickly and thoroughly. I couldn't have asked for anyone better to guide me through my renting process! I would gladly recommend Romans to others.
5 stars for Elizabeth. Feel very blessed in this current climate to have found a lovely new flat. From start to finish Elizabeth was professional, polite knowledgeable and very straight forward to deal with. Being extremely busy with my own business she took the hassle out the process and I was in my new home within 2 weeks from start to finish Thanks Elizabeth Highly recommended
Elizabeth Kilbride has been amazing throughout the whole process! Listened to everything me and my partner were looking for in a property, talked us through the process very professionally and not pushy which is what we loved! 100% recommend her.
Alex was very helpful throughout the purchase of our new house. He was exceptionally diligent in making sure we were kept updated and helping us chase up various bits of paperwork. With both myself and my other half having previously had bad estate agent experiences, we are very pleased we chose Romans, and it has changed it perception of Estate Agents as a whole! Would 100% recommend using this Estate Agents, thanks again Alex.

Winkworth - Reading
17 Blagrave St, Reading, Berkshire, South East, England, RG1 1QB
I have chosen Winkworth as my agent to manage my property (Fully Managed Service). My experience so far has been excellent as they have been extremely responsive in all communication, very professional and very easy to work with. They have been very thorough the entire experience, and I feel my property will be in good hands. Big thanks to James and team for their great work!
Winkworth is a very reliable property agent that provides high quality, efficient and professional services. Special thank you for Jessica Kendall to taking care all administrative matters for my tenancy, with her attentive and swift response, good communication and accommodating to my special requests. Appreciated! Highly recommend to those looking for a property to rent in Reading!
I had a viewing scheduled for another property with another agency in the early hours of the morning & the viewing was disappointing for me. I'd travelled down from London to Reading & didn't want to come back another day in between work to view more properties. I contacted Winkworth after finding two properties & asked them if I could arrange two viewings that very day which was so last minute. They confirmed it all within the first hour of their office opening. I was shown around both properties by Jade Warwick who was so friendly, welcoming & easy to talk to. She has a great personality & anything I asked, she answered honestly. I found my new home that same day & I'm so grateful that they were able to see me & show me around the properties at such short notice but they were incredibly accomodating. Thank you to the team & thank you to Jade for helping me find my new home that day.
James and his team share an unusual combination of efficiency, proactiveness, expertise and kindness. They are all extremely pleasant to deal with and experts in their field providing a service that is excellent in every way. James knew exactly how best to market my unique property and set a level of rent that was achieved. The tenancy was secured on the first day of viewings. Thank for doing a great job and I look forward to working with you all again in the future.
I've had the pleasure to rent from Winkworth since February 2020 and I do not like the thought of renting from another Estate Agent. From day one, every query or request I had was always dealt with. We were lucky with the properties we've rented so far and the staff are top notch! Very friendly and approachable, always helpful and going out of their way to make sure the quality is provided to the highest standards. The communication was always there, efficient and on point! As we were preparing to increase the size of our home, we started talking with Jade Warwick and she was really helpful along the way and always on time when viewing properties. The second we found that one house we wanted to call home, it felt like she almost wanted us to have the house as much as we did! Right after we made the decision and picked up the phone Jade was extremely efficient and answered all of our questions about the property and made all the arrangements quickly and kept us in the loop with everything along the way. To this day, easily the best customer service we've ever encountered! Throughout this short period of time of just over a year, we've also had the pleasure to meet James Hathaway who's always been a true gentleman, very approachable and polite and a phone call away if there was ever any need to attend the property for inspections/repairs etc. In our recent hunt for a home, both Jade and James were helping us, along with a few other team members (Aoife, Jessica and Rosie) and the journey was as smooth as it can be. We now live in a beautiful, spacious home thanks to THE BEST Estate Agent we've ever seen!

Romans - Bracknell
New Manor House, The Ring, Bracknell, Berkshire, South East, England, RG12 1JT
Great service and communication from Hollie Evans! She made this a really easy process and was really accommodating, especially when it came to additional viewings. I haven't used an agent in a while to rent a property as I've had bad experiences in the past but Hollie has really changed my mind on this. Thanks for making this an enjoyable experience! 100% would recommend
Jack from Romans lettings has been super helpful throughout the process. He's kept up us to date prior to the move as to where we were at with any documentation outstanding. He's also followed up on a maintenance issue for us, which through no fault of his own is yet to be fully resolved, but has kept us updated with it. Many thanks Jack, keep up the good work!
Me and my partner would like to say a huge thank you to the team at Romans Bracknell for their hard work in finding us our first property. From the first phone calls with Keiran to the lovely Lilly showing us around the properties; their service has been amazing!! No questions we had were left unanswered and Lilly must have the patience of a saint as we wasn’t always the easiest clients but nothing ever felt like hard work for her. She made the experience enjoyable and as a team we highly recommend them. Thank you!!
Since 2015 Romans is responsible for managing my property in Bracknell. I am very happy and confident that I've made the right decision choosing Romans to fully manage the property. Mrs Sophie Newman is my property manager and I could not ask for a better one. Mrs Sophie Newman always keep me informed about any maintenance required and send quotes from contractors as well photos and feedbacks. Her hard work gives me peace of mind and assurance that the management of the property is in good hands.
My apartment in Bracknell has been managed by Romans as a rental property for 11 years now and I have found them to be very efficient and responsive in all aspects of my dealings with them. My property manager, Donna-Marie Brant, has been particularly helpful, often going beyond the call of duty to make my life easier as a landlord living abroad. This is much appreciated.

Cintra Estates
78 Christchurch Rd, Reading, Berkshire, South East, England, RG2 7AZ
Shameless and callous company and if possible, avoid. The agents and director are friendly enough upon first meeting, but this is a facade and their ambivalence to student welfare soon becomes apparent. They will likely attempt to keep your deposit and if you do not hound them for months they will succeed. Luckily for the most part we dealt directly with the landlords, but every interaction we had with Cintra was drawn-out, unprofessional and wholly unpleasant. Their agents often failed to inform us about veiwings - letting themselves into the house without permission - and were frequently very late. Neil even lied to our landlords about us (in an attempt to convince them we were uncooperative), but thankfully they trusted us enough not to believe his underhandnded tactics. The listing for our property included incorrect information and photos from other properties. Our landlords made Cintra aware of this, but they failed to make any changes for months, prolonging the time spent searching for the next years tennants. During the veiwings, the agents were unable to answer the most basic questions about the property and my housemates and I often took over. The agents would often claim that our furniture and TV came with the property, even after being corrected many times! Ultimately, I am not sure how this company continues to operate in such a way. Our experience was gentler than many, but this was enough for us to come to completely despise them and their business practices.
Benji was a great estate agent, he was very quick to respond and happy to answer any questions we had. I would recommend Cintra Estates.
Found the agency very helpful in not only finding a house with friends but also thoroughly explaining the ins and outs of everything. Was glad to be introduced to Benji who showed us around and assisted on the financial side of things, making it very easy for us students. Overall 10/10 experience, excited to be moving in next year.
Very pleased with the service Cintra provided us when looking for our first student house. Benji was particularly helpful in providing all the relevant information and kept us up to date with the whole process. Very happy with Cintra Estates :)
They have been very good in both instances we have used them. Tom is always very friendly and is prompt with his replies. They are very professional and know what they are talking about when it comes to their properties. It has always been quick and easy to rent through them, I recommend.

Romans - Wokingham
23 Market Pl, Wokingham, Berkshire, South East, England, RG40 1AP
Can’t fault the service. Ian attended and went out of his way to ensure we understood every step of the process but didn’t pressure us at all. We signed up with a competitive rate and the house was sold within 48 hours. Amazing service. From sale to completion it took approx 10 weeks. The whole team made this process so easy and we didn’t need to stress about anything. Ian called regularly to check in and make sure all was good, I genuinely was made to feel like there was no issue they wouldn’t help with. I am selling a buy to let property as well through Romans, again, the process is smooth. I won’t use any other agent moving forward. Thanks Ian and team.
We recently sold our house with Romans and can highly recommend. A special thanks to Ian Lewis, who from day 1 was very helpful with lots of guidance as we nervously considered putting our house on the market. Ian did everything to help make the process as stress free for us as possible and always returned calls and kept us up to speed in what was happening. Selling was the easy part of the process thanks to Ian and good updates from the move team also. Thank you!
We just rented through Romans and the whole process was smooth and the best thing is their quick responses whenever you need them. Molly managed the paper work very well and she always try to help when needed. Tom as well is very responsive and helpful. Overall, good experience with them so far.
We've been working with Roman's Letting Department for over 6 years now, in that time they have always delivered a very professional service. What's prompted me to actually write a review is the level of service and professionalism we have enjoyed recently when dealing with a number of small "challenges" presented by our tenants. Alistair has been excellent is not only reacting extremely promptly to resolve them, his communication and follow up is first class. Well done to him and the rest of the team. Thank you
Alistair at Romans Wokingham has been extremely helpful in helping me and my partner sort our first property together. He has been responsive and kept us well informed throughout the process, and has answered any questions we had quickly and professionally. The extra touch for us was that when we went to the office, he knew exactly who we were and which property related to us which made him very personable.

Sears Property

From the first contact we had from Chris Feedam which was very prompt and gave us a great first impression, the communication from the team has been exceptional walking us through a process we last did over 17 years ago. Very professional and considerate viewings were conducted. After the initial contact with Chris, Charles Allan walked us through the process with a friendly professional approach. We have felt well looked after throughout. Thank you.
Whilst trying to find our forever home Josh Milam of Sears has been a great help. He is the first to phone me to tell me about properties and set up viewings even before they’re out to advert in every effort to help us find the perfect home. Nothing is too much trouble and no question too difficult for Josh to answer. His relaxed and warm manner make the viewings a really positive experience.
Searching for our first home was a very easy and relaxed experience with the team at Sears. From finding properties to our liking and then moving through the process. Very professional and I would highly recommend. Special thanks to Charles, Chris and Rob.
We were very pleased with the service recently provided by Sears in Bracknell. Robert Franklin, Charles Thompson and Josh Milam were friendly and extremely professional, keeping us fully informed of viewings and feedback. In just 3 weeks we had several viewings. Robert negotiated a very fair price for our house. Overall, we are delighted with Sears and would not hesitate to recommend them.
I have rented out my property through Sears for nearly three year now. I have been very happy with the service they have provided. My property is managed by Amanda and she has been very efficient and prompt in dealing with issues that have come up during that period. I know that my property is in good hands with Amanda and her team of property managers, including Lesley. I have no hesitation in recommending Amanda and Sears Property Management for anyone out there thinking of renting out their property.

Prospect Bracknell
36 High St, Bracknell, Berkshire, South East, England, RG12 1LL
After starting a family we decided to put our flat on the market in order to buy somewhere with more space. Prospect were amazing throughout, and were able to generate much more interest and viewings than any other agent we had used. Unfortunately, we were unable to sell, due to the market at the time (Covid) so instead decided to let the property. It was initially with another agent who had it for some time and we therefore gave it to Prospect. Prospect generated several viewings and ultimately secured us tenants within 24 hours of having it! The communication was fantastic throughout from both Tristan and Harry who made the whole process very easy. I would highly recommend Prospect for both Sales and Lettings
Prospect sold my house a few months ago. It was a long, at times stressful process. Adam Selzer- Williams impressed me as he was so full of enthusiasm, friendly and helpful. Calum Radcliffe was also very professional and patient. He composed some good emails on my behalf when negotiating and without him I think the sale may have fallen through. Most of the Prospect employees I dealt with were very pleasant and did a good job.Thank you
Working with prospect to find our first home was a very easy and relaxed experience. I have no hesitation in recommending the team at Prospect. Special thanks to Adam and Paul.
Im very Impressed with our new property manager Lily Sines! She always keeps me informed immediately of any issues that arise with our flat. She is extremely helpful and friendly & nothing is too much trouble for her. Heres to going above and beyond! Prospect well done for having such wonderful staff
We recently sold our house with Prospect a week after putting it on the market and achieved full asking price. Prospect have been extremely efficient and on the ball! They answer your calls promptly and always get back to you as soon as possible. I would particularly like to mention Josh Holt who has been amazing and set out to achieve everything he promised to do. Well done Josh!

Put an offer to rent a house at list price and was told offer would be put to the landlord. Waited 4 working days for a response to be told another offer was accepted. Clearly taking advantage of the current market to make potential tenants battle for available properties. For context, put in another offer with a different agent and was accepted same day.
Looking for a rent in a different city is always a challenge. My agent, Anais Payne, from Romans Lettings, has helped me through this process. She gave me the information that I needed at the right time. She has been very professional in this special pandemic time, a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend to contact her and the agency whenever in need of a nice place to stay!
I would also like to thank Megan as she is really helping me with arranging maintenance for my tenants whilst I am out of country and is doing a great job. Thanks Megan! Jess has been assisting me in renting out my house in Caversham. She has done an incredible job in first finding tenants and then ensuring that everything was finalised and arranged. She even helped in making sure the house was clean and ready for the tenants. I work overseas and so have been unable to return to the UK but Jess has handled everything better than I could! A fantastic service, thanks very much Jess
My partner and I would highly recommend Romans, having recently purchased our first house. The team was very responsive and helped a considerable amount with the process! A big thank you to Karl & Lewis.
I had a pleasure to meet Jess and she has guided us through the services Romans provides for the landlords. She dealt with any queries we had in a very professional way and I was impressed with high quality customer service she offered. She is very committed in what she does and adds great value to Romans team. She replied to our questions very quickly and professionally. I also feel, I need to mention she is a very friendly and easy to talk person and I'm so pleased I had a chace to meet her. Thank you Jess.

Hamptons - Greenford Lettings
20 The Mall, London, Berkshire, South East, England, RG12 8FZ
I am highly pleased with the service provided by Mark Peppin. From the first contact and viewing to the contracts exchange, he made sure we understand the process of buying a property. Still, he was also guiding us every step of the way to ask the right questions to our solicitors and other parties involved in the transaction. We successfully exchange, and we are looking forward to moving to our new house. Excellent service; thank you, Mark and the team at Hamptons.
Cannot recommend Hamptons enough. Mark was thoroughly proactive and professional, helping us at every step. Extremely happy with the service and commitment - thank you team Hamptons (sold in Northfields)
I would like to extoll the excellent support of Hamptons in their services of renting my property, particularly the efforts of Ms. Samantha Hunt. She is very professional, helpful, truly interested in the smooth running of the rental process, always accessible and understanding of my doubts. She has ALWAYS been there when I needed, and I am VERY THANKFUL to her for that. She is an EXCELLENT manager, and a true asset to Hamptons.
I can highly recommend working with Hamptons Estate Agents. From the first contact, to the viewing and signature my experience has been amazing. The property was exactly as advertised and I was lucky to be working with the Agent Miki K. who went above and beyond from day 1. He arranged the viewing right after I requested it and he navigated the whole process with ease and in a very professional way. It was very easy and transparent for me as well as the landlady and I'm looking forward to live in a property that is managed by Hamptons.
We have had a great experience with Hamptons! They stay out of the way in day-to-day life, but whenever we need anything they are right there ready to help. Our agent (Samantha Hunt) is particularly responsive, professional, and helpful. Excellent service throughout!

Chancellors - Bracknell
1 Station Square, Bracknell, Berkshire, South East, England, RG12 1QB
I’ve moved into a property to find out 1 week later that there was a mice infestation !! I have a 1 year old baby so this has been a traumatic experience. They won’t return any money for fighting with pest !! No one wants to cover the fees of a ,fully managed’ property. It’s a laugh (or rather cry). All my new furniture - a brand new white sofa was full of mice droppings after just 2 weeks. Chancellors did nothing, the landlord pretended to do something but in fact he did very little - he only brought 1 decorator versus mine 10, bought only 2 mice poisons versus mine 6, he brought only 2 glue traps versus mine 40. I’ve spent over £500 to fight this problem, called in the pest control company and finally I’ve managed to stop them coming into the property (there’s still plenty living in walls and floors so it might be a matter of time for them to come back). 6 different flats moved out of this building over the past 6 weeks. It’s some kind of a nightmare. A ,fully managed’ property but yet I have to speak to the landlord in person and he is letting himself in and out of the property and mailbox whenever he feels like. They take photos of each property and all your belongings every 6 months - so intimidating. No wonder they’ve had such issues with the previous people who lived here. Watch out, I’m really disappointed.
My sister and I have had a great experience when choosing to sell with Chancellors. We have appreciated how our agent (Paul) personally kept us up to date and informed along the whole process. We haven’t had the smoothest of experiences with other estate agents in the past so we really appreciated the hard work and effort put in by Paul and his team at Chancellors. I would highly recommend Chancellors.
Lydia has been amazing through my search for a property. As a first-time buyer she was so helpful with all questions I had. Having pulled out on my last property back in December 2020 I had such an awful experience with Estate agents and solicitors. I was extremely impressed with the service I have received and would highly recommend Lydia.
Paul, Richard, Lydia & Jenny Outstanding service. Customer service received that I didn’t think existed anymore. Thank you to each of you for your continued updates, the help I got from start to finish from the purchase of the property. The 4 of you, made this whole process at ease for me. I couldn’t thank you enough and hope you are recognised for your perfection in the way you treat your customers. So professional, kind and understanding. Thank you! Josie
We have had a lot of communication with Elizabeth Loew (Lizzie) at Chancellors. Any issues regarding the property are promptly dealt with and follow up emails and telephone calls keep us clearly informed. She has a professional manner and a friendly and bright disposition. It is always a pleasure to talk to her. She is a real asset to Chancellors.

Romans - Maidenhead
41 Queen St, Maidenhead, Berkshire, South East, England, SL6 1NB
Buying a home as a first time buyer is quite daunting and confusing. However, the team at Romans Maidenhead were brilliant! They knew answers to all our questions and queries, as well as very knowledgeable of the surrounding area. And if they didn't know the answer to any of our questions - they would go research and come back to us. A top top service! Also, when we weren't getting updates from our solicitors or the sellers - Romans would step in and chase things up. Exactly what you need from your estate agent! One lady we want to acknowledge is Chloe Stewart. She was really friendly, very professional and a fanatic mediator between us and the seller/seller solicitors. I would recommend anybody looking the Maidenhead area to go directly to her!
My experience with Romans has to date been a very positive one. I have been impressed with Yasmin’s management of our property. A couple of issues have cropped up recently and she has implemented solutions promptly and efficiently. I pretty much wanted to be hands-off and that’s exactly what I get as I’m confident Yasmin will handle any issues.
We have had to contact Romans on several occasions over the last few months (plumbing and central heating issues) and Yasmin has been amazing. She is an excellent communicator and has a speedy response time to any email sent. No issue seems to small and everything is dealt with in good time.
We were contacted by Luke and offered to view several properties within our budget. He was very responsive and organized a video viewing on the same day as per our request. He explained things step by step and ensured that we knew what would happen next. The whole process was very quick so we were able to sign the contract in a matter of days. Overall Luke made the experience hassle-free and enjoyable! 🙂
I have had the pleasure of dealing with Romans on the purchase of my property and been thoroughly impressed with the service. From the moment we started looking they were by far the most helpful and accommodating agent I dealt with. Some were just terrible. I found it hard to book viewing around my partners and my work schedule and they always came through to secure a time that worked for us. The virtual viewing were also really helpful in getting an idea without the need for viewings. Chloe in particular was responsive and really helpful when it came to buying our house. She took the time to understand what we were looking for and didn’t bombard us with endless emails but rather sent ones all of which were interesting. From the moment we made the offer the team were great and helped push things along checking in regularly. I was so impressed with them that I used their recommended surveyor and mortgage broker both of which were efficient and quick. I will definitely use them to sell my property in the future and hopefully buy through them again. Thank you Chloe and the team.

Davis Tate - Reading
10 King's Rd, Reading, Berkshire, South East, England, RG1 3AA
Davis Tate handled the sale of my flat over the course of 18 months. Two of my buyers pulled out at the last minute (for their own reasons) but the team kept the momentum going and found further offers each time within days. I found them professional, helpful and communicative and would gladly recommend Davis Tate to anyone selling in Reading.
As a family we have now used Davis Tate to buy or sell on 6 occasions and on every one they have been professional and helpful and most importantly successful in achieving our goals.
Sold a property in February 2021, after a nervous few months and very pleased to have been looked after by the King's Road staff. Would like to mention Rebecca Wilkins in particular, who kept us informed of progress at all times and showed a very professional approach. You have a good team at this branch! Would certainly recommend. Mike Macaskill
I recently sold my house on Henley Rd, Caversham. They did a great job with the pictures and had the house sold for over asking price in just one week. Thanks again Charlie, Sam, Becky and team.
We recently used Davis Tate to both sell our old house and buy our new 'forever home'. Charlie went above and beyond to keep our chain together through lockdown and the Rebecca and Kevin in the sales progression team were great at keeping the process moving, despite delays from solicitors and mortgage companies. They were responsive to our queries, proactive in issue resolution and a pleasure to work with. I'd have no hesitation in recommending Charlie and his team to anyone looking to buy or sell a property in Reading.

Roger Platt - Maidenhead
25-29 Queen St, Maidenhead, Berkshire, South East, England, SL6 1NB
I meet Julie today to show me around a property for rent, she was so lovely and made me feel completely at ease, giving me time and loads of information. She had a short time between viewings and went out of her way to show me a brand new listing which she felt would be right for me and something I might like. I’d highly recommend her service if you are searching for a property in the area. Thanks Julie.
I was first introduced to Nick at Roger Platt when I bought my home 18 years ago. Through the years Nick has been my property go to and I put my faith in him and the team at Roger Platt when the time came to sell. I have now discovered the magic runs through the entire Roger Platt team. Nick, courteous and trustworthy as ever. Connor and Petra conducted safe and efficient viewings. From what I could overhear, they covered every point I wanted and more. A buyer was found and price agreed within 10 days of the property going live! William was excellent at critical times of negotiation and Philippa did the most difficult job of getting the sale to go through. I can't thank Philippa enough for helping me to find a removal company at short notice, they turned out to be the best in regards to availability, service and value. On completion day, Nick stepped up again and helped with meter readings after I'd locked myself out and was a few junctions down the M4! What I've said here might (or might not) be common in other High Street agents, so my highest recommendation really comes down to how the staff made me feel at every point. They made me feel I was in safe hands and not alone. They gave me a lot of their time, were patient with me and incredibly supportive during this unsettling period of selling and moving home and I am very happy to recommend them.
Should have gone with Roger Platt from the beginning! Petra and the team were fantastic. They were showing suitable, qualified buyers our property and helping us successfully navigate several offers until we reached the price we needed in order to sell. They were honest, consultative and knowledgeable about the market. Petra took the time to help us through the process, returned our calls swiftly and always made herself available when needed. She and the team made us feel like we were their number one priority even though we knew they always had many other clients to deal with. Couldn’t have asked for more. Would happily recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to use again.
I thoroughly recommend Roger Platt Estate Agents Maidenhead. They recently handled the sale of my property in Cox Green. I found the staff to be friendly and commission rates reasonable and no pressure to list. On this occasion Stuart and Phillippa dealt with the appraisal/valuation/marketing/negotiation and progress of my property. Their service and attention to detail could not be faulted.....I received an acceptable offer within days and the sale completed within 10 weeks. In all a very swift and stress free transaction Many Thanks
I recently sold my property with Roger Platt and the service I received was excellent. Philippa was dealing with the sale but she was far more involved in the whole transaction that I would expect her to be, always providing me with updates and explaining clearly any next steps I needed to take in what what a complex process. Without her involvement I wonder if my sale and purchase would have ever completed. Many thanks!

I've been pleasantly surprised how easy Chancellors have been to deal with. Excellent service throughout, Bobby was very professional, knowledgeable and patient in helping me find my first tenants. I was skeptical at first but they found me a tenant within 24 hours. One viewing and we had an offer for full asking price. An absolute record breaker!
George has been extremely helpful and professional in helping us to decide where to list our home. He's easy to get hold of and always comes back to you. Efficient and personable!
The team in general have a good work ethic they have a good variety of properties to sell from the market and they share the information before the viewings so that you have a better understanding of the property before you go. Also Sienna is very friendly ,professional and shared valuable knowledge during the viewings about the actual possibilities and fees in each of the properties and as soon as l decided to make an offer she had all the paperwork ready to crack on. Thanks for your help and good job for all the team
Thank you Bobby & team from Chancellor Slough branch for your help and assistance in letting another one of my properties. Great understanding of the market. Thank you again for arranging everything for me prior to the tenant moving in.
Very Good Experience… I have had a extremely good experience with Slough Chancellors. Both Mitch and Katherine were very easily approachable, extremely professional and communication from both was best all the time. Mitch has been very professional , arrived on time and gave me a great tour of the property and kept me in loop with the updates. Although this time I couldn’t buy the property I was interested in, I won’t hesitate to use Slough Chancellors services for either buying or selling any future property. Highly recommend!

Chancellors - Reading
46 Market Pl, Reading, Berkshire, South East, England, RG1 2DT
Chancellors are our property managers for our rental house. They were lovely, quick working and super helpful up until our let was agreed, and that’s unfortunately when things went downhill. They began hounding us multiple times a day for every piece of documentation under the sun and payments which weren’t due for over a month. I of course understand documents are of course needed for renting a property, but the communication was excessive and we had multiple people calling us for the same information, obviously having not communicated it between themselves. Since moving in they have been absolutely useless. When we moved in the house was in a really grubby, frankly gross, condition despite being described as “cleaned to a domestic standard” and with parts of it in really poor repair. Chancellors are currently in breach of our contract as some much needed works, which they said would be done before we moved in (and which we signed upon in our contract) were not completed. They also only admitted this once we called them out on it. Nearly 5 weeks into our tenancy the works have still not been done, and we’ve given up waiting for a call from the “contractor” we’ve been expecting for the last month. When we contact the property manager they just claim they'll chase the contractor, which clearly isn't working! The student houses I’ve rented over the years in Reading were in better condition and better managed that this. We’re looking to buy a property in the next 6-12 months and even if Chancellors were selling our dream house, I would probably still avoid them.
There is no communication between your departments. You don't get back with a phone call when you say you ll do! Everytime I have a question no one knows how to answer!
I chose Chancellors to let my properties in Reading a couple of years ago and subsequently decided to do it myself through an online platform, which ended up saving me a significant amount (over £600 per letting) and also generated a significantly higher rent. Since I stopped using them, Chancellors have bombarded me with calls, sometimes up to 2 a day, offering various services. I have told them multiple times to stop calling me and a call today was the final straw before writing this review. There are a few exceptions - David Paton is a good letting agent - but for the most part their staff turnover is high and they will pester you worse than any scam caller.
We sold our flat through Chancellors Reading and was initially impressed with Dave who got us a buyer fairly quickly after having not got any interest through a different agent. The service we then got after was nothing to shout about. I had more contact from the agent selling the house we were purchasing making sure we were ok and everything was going smoothly than we did from Chancellors. We had several calls when it got quite close to the end of the sale but nothing was proactive from Chancellors, we were having to reach out. I hadn't had any contact for a few weeks and when I reached out to Dave he told me he had left the business! Why was our sale not handed over to anyone? Likewise 2 weeks after we've moved in to our new home we had contact from the Reading office asking whether we still needed help selling the flat?! I'm not sure how Chancellors can justify taking a % commission for doing very little work and showing a real lack of communication both with us and internally.

Chancellors - Newbury
46 Northbrook St, Newbury, Berkshire, South East, England, RG14 1DT
I don't typically write reviews, but this might be the only way I can get a call back from the Newbury Branch... Terrible experience with Chancellors, I've called numerous times about a property they have for sale. I always get redirected to head office as nobody ever seems to answer the phone at the Newbury branch. I've left 4 messages for a call back about a property, and nothing. Complete silence. Cannot believe I've had to chase this much just to ask some questions about a property. If you're looking to sell your house with these guys I'd probably stay clear, unless you want them to ignore potential buyers! Look forward to your robot response, "please email us so we can resolve your issues."
I recently moved to Newbury and needed one rented accommodation, so I checked online and contacted Chancellors. Then at time of viewing I pointed few defects with property and I was assured from the AGENT that they'll be treated apart from the dirty carpet as Owner is not willing to spend much.. Still I agreed and mentioned in mail immediately after viewing, but these people tried to play smart and they didn't added this to agreement, which I was not aware of. As molds in house, window are not closing, shower not working, carpet cleaning, Broken Blind replacement, broken handles and fresh paint and similar issues were already conveyed to Agent by me over mail and she talked it over the phone as well. They delivered the house to me after 10 days and when I saw property upon entrance, nothing was done. And Now Chancellor told me check with Thames property Management which I suppose is third party who maintains the house. So, i checked with them and now they're taking so much time its been almost month since I'm checked in. And just shower is replaced so far after reminders. And when I requested to get the work done ASAP, now they're telling we're trying but it was not in agreement, But I told her I clearly conveyed the issues in mail and it should be responsibility/job of Agent to take corrective action in agreement or what ever they do. Still I'm waiting for work to be completed. I've added only few pictures for reference
Had a very good check in tenancy experience. Everything was dealt with speed and I felt supported. A shame that the entire experience got ruined by the check out process. After having a very quick agreement from the landlady that the deposit should be returned in full, Chancellors took about a month to provide the money back. Not only that took longer than the 10 days imposed by the Government, but also there was never any sort of escalation or managerial attempt to support. Really felt like my complaints were not taken seriously after sending so many emails. Very disappointed with the overall experience and therefore cannot recommend. Even started approaching TDS directly and was about to initiate a dispute. Totally unnecessary drama for such a simple deposit situation.
Excellent Newbury Estate Agents with Friendly Personal Service & Good Range of Quality Homes!
We had the pleasure of dealing with Chancellors who handled the letting of our property extremely professionally.
