We have been with City Residential since October last year, and we couldn’t be happier with the service that we consistently receive. Our property manager, Danielle Kilty has been fantastic, we get fast and friendly responses and repairs have been dealt with as quickly as possible. Having been with several city centre letting agents over the past few years, City Residential has been by far the most efficient.
Currently renting with city residential, the team are always so friendly whilst professional. Stephen has been especially fantastic, helped us with a query so quickly and efficiently. Would definitely recommend renting through them if you can.
I did a property viewing a few weeks back with a nice lady called Emily. She was very professional, showed up on time (more than can be said some some agents) and was very helpful with the viewing process. I ended up going with the property and a big part of that decision was based on having a viewing on the same day with another agent that just wasn't as good as City Residential. Dealt with Rachel during the lettings process, she was super easy to deal with, very responsive and helped out with getting my out of the norm requests dealt with. I'd highly recommend them!
The service I received is second to none. In a very difficult and busy market the team at city residential keep the standards extremely high in terms of speedy and accurate communication, professionalism, follow up in communications, and respect for the client regardless of whether you are the seller or the buyer, your position or your budget. I will have to give the full credit for this review to Samantha McCauley as she dealt with my issue but I am certain that this is the culture and ethos in the whole team. despite the fact that my purchase fell through, I am more than confident that I will be in touch with the team again for future deals or property management.
Amazing! Emily is helping us find a perfect property to rent in Liverpool City centre and she is doing an amazing job. We are quite picky but that has deterred her efforts. Emily took all the requirements we where looking for and has sent us video’s of property’s and shown us round a lot as well! RENTERS AVOID HUNTERS LETTING AGENCY LIVERPOOL During house viewing I was told that the old furniture will be removed before I move in. When I moved into the house the old furniture was in the house and stayed in the house for 19 days until I have arranged for council to pick it. Renting from Hunters Liverpool was horrible experience. I was refused access to the landlord. Repairs were not carried out for months. Washing machine broke down I was asked to use laundrette. When I moved out I have cleaned the whole house, but Hunters want to charge me £300 to clean a two bedroom house. I am still challenging it with DPS at the moment. If you are renter and you rent from this guys in Liverpool you will REGRET IT!!!
Over the years that Hunters have managed my properties I’ve been nothing but pleased with the high level of service. But there have been more challenges than ever over the past Covid year and Chloe has been a godsend. Together with Abby, Chloe has provided efficient, effective and timely support always with clear communication and a pleasant manner. Recently I was doubtful whether a tricky situation was negotiable, but it was navigated successfully thanks to Chloe. I’m confident that issues dealt with by Chloe, Abby, Tracey and Mike are in the capable hands of a strong team. Chloe's professional knowledge and her skills in diplomacy combined with her patience has made me thankful that I chose the team at Hunters to manage my properties.
We viewed a property with my business partner, and the agent who met us there knew pretty much everything about the property and was very insightful into current market conditions. We have just sold a house using Belvoir Liverpool, and I have to say without any hesitation at all that they have been absolutely excellent. My main contact there was Michael Judge, whom I found to be utterly professional throughout. As with many house transactions, there were occasionally delays and hitches at various points along the line, but Michael was always there, chasing up where need be, making sure people did what they were supposed to do, and he always got results. We found him to be punctual, reliable and professional. Not only was he easy to contact, but he also kept us up to date regularly with the proceedings by phone, or email when one of us was not around. Needless to say, I would highly recommend Belvoir Liverpool to anyone thinking of effecting a property transaction in Liverpool.

Bluerow have been selfish my entire tenancy, only replied when it personally impacted them. Constantly rude and invalidating and absolutely no regard for any tenants needs or wellbeing, they quite literally told me the landlord is the only client that matters , only concerned with exploiting tenants for their money. utterly disgusting, and no regard for tenants ESPECIALLY STUDENTS . I beg you to not bother. I have presented with multiple mental health issues and not a single scrap of empathy has been shown. please do not work with theses.. people. it should be crime.
Received absolutely terrible service from their maintenance management team on what I thought would be a routine matter for them to deal with. In the communications I had with them I was repeatedly met with incredibly unprofessional behaviour, with them being very dismissive of the issue I was experiencing with my flat. Would not recommend at all given the recent experience I’ve had with them which has made me very wary of raising any issues again in the future.
I just wish to register my appreciation to Lauren and Helen. Bluerow placed my city centre apartment on the market in February 2021, and within three days and Lauren’s first viewing, identified a buyer, furthermore the sale completed today 21st of May. I found Helen to be very helpful during the process advising me on legal technicalities and just providing good, sound advice, due to the fact I had a tenant in situ. As a consequence, the timing between the tenant vacating and the sale completing was only 9 days. amazing! Was recently very lucky to secure a property to let that was exactly what we were looking for. I would like to commend Lucy massively for her help from the beginning. We booked the viewing for the property and by chance were the first people to view it. Lucy told us this initially and said that if we liked it we should take it on the day if we could as interest was so high and as soon as we saw it we could see why and so we did thanks to her little tip off! Since then she has been nothing but helpful and responded to all queries quickly and efficiently and calmed any anxieties we had about referencing and the application to let process. PLEASE READ BEFORE DECIDING!! I am only 20 years old yet I know this service is laughing in the face of customers. It can't be a coincidence that all the good reviews all come across as written by the same person. I haven't heard a word from LINDSEY about my deposit 2 weeks after moving out, regardless how the apartment was left. I should at least be written a simple email to why I should or shouldn't receive my deposit back after being a customer of over two years. But then as soon as someone leaves a review (which I have been looking at constantly during my tenure) an instant reply pops up backing themselves up with complete nonsense, nothing objective or related to the actual review but giving their back story on how they have been successful in the past. In the past they were called Cuddly Bears which I'm sure you've heard lovely reviews about, which is why they shut down and changed names. Paying good money for a service that doesn't exist is not fun - so do yourself a favour - and rent somewhere else. I will say that the maintenance staff were very kind - not effeicient - but kind. That can't possibly be all you want from a landlord. I have taken the time to write such a lengthy review and go into detail because I feel my money never reached anywhere near the value it should've. I left feeling cheated of something I gave so much to and it seems to be the trend of REAL reviews written to this agency. Business should be done right, please do something about it.
Avoid Lindsey at all costs wether you are a tenant or a landlord. She managed to steal my deposit from me and laughed about it. I could go on for a while about the bad experiences I have had through her and what so many other people have told me. I also dealt with Christie who I must say was the complete opposite of Lindsey and a great help until Lindsey was involved. Look up cuddly bears which is the name they formally went by

I have had such a positive experience with this letting agency - probably the best of those I have used in Liverpool. (Christie was great) The members of staff are quick to respond, accommodating and have gone above and beyond to help which they absolutely did not have to do. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for professionalism and reasonable price. The apartments I viewed were excellent and had lots of unexpected amenities and bonuses compared to others.
We have used Liverpool Alive (formerly Cuddly Bears) for many years now, as we live at the other end of the country so not able to manage our properties personally. We have always found Lindsey to be quick, competent and very responsive to any communication, as well as friendly and helpful. Liverpool Alive have found us numerous tenants over the years, with extremely short void times between outgoing and new incoming tenants. We would absolutely recommend them.

One because 0 isn't possible. Students stay away from them they are all about the money, promises made will not be kept the property won't be deep cleaned even though they will charge previous tenants for it. It won't be updated if needed there will be an excuse why not. No allowances were made during lockdowns all they have done is demand payments for unused properties with not even an offer of a discount for utilities. If you are still tempted I'd advise parent's/guardians to refuse to sign there guarantor contracts bin them certainly do not if they ask give them access to your house deeds. Plenty of decent properties in Liverpool go elsewhere.
I would urge all parents to discourage their children to consider living in any property let by this company. Nothing was ever fixed and some appliances deemed unsafe for use. Dirty property when they moved in. Cooker and washing machine never worked and in the 10 months of occupation no one ever came out or responded to requests or concerns made by the occupants. On leaving each person received a bill for taking mattress covers from the beds when they weren't ever provided in the first place and a large bill for not cleaning on leaving?!?!?!

This company has not met the protocol of what professional letting agents do. Since ending my tenancy I have been Working for a letting agents myself, so I am now fully aware of how incompetent this place is. They did not notify the energy companies once we left the property, we closed all our energy accounts and paid our closing bills. We have now been provided with a debt collection letter for a time period we did not live in the property, as of course almond properties have not made the energy companies aware that we were not in tenancy at that time!! And to top it all off they need to ‘dig out’ our tenancy file 😂 because we need to show proof to the energy company that we did not live there at the time in question. Needing to dig out a tenants file is unprofessional and makes me highly concerned about the way in which my personal information is being stored. This company is unorganised and extremely incompetent, all they are interested in is being paid every month - which reminds me of my last rental payment, I paid a week before it was due and then I got voicemails and missed phone calls hassling me for rent, until I told her to check their bank account, low and behold there it was!!! Embarrassing much? Now we are being threatened with a £500 plus debt payment!! Sort this out almond properties or I will certainly be taking this further and will make sure you are portrayed as a useless letting agency. Good luck to anyone who uses them.
Hopeless - set up 2 appointments to view an apartment taking leave on two separate days. Agent was late and we waited 30 minutes to be let in apartment. Landlord forgot the viewing was on but would have expected this all to be confirmed again prior to having us out especially when he didn't have keys. Asked us to come the next day which we did. He has spoken to the landlord but when we arrived couldn't get in as she had let it out on Air BNB. Again when talking to the landlord you would have expected to have had this confirmed? Agent just shrugged shoulders and said not my problem. It is mate it's your job. Said would call back with a new time and never did. If this is reflective of the service you'd get with them as landlord and agent it didn't fill me with any confidence. To sum up my experience "hopeless" doesn't do it any justice. Don't wast your time or annual leave with these novices.
Although Sue was brilliant who showed me around, Arrangement of my viewing was unprofessional and I was made to fit my schedule around theirs even when I had originally suggested an appointment time which they replied to initially.

Unlike complacent high street agencies, Almond Property does not prioritise fancy offices, they prioritise their clients and go about their work diligently, without fuss and communicate updates as they happen, without you having to chase them! Almond Property listed my property and received enquiries within a matter of hours. After arranging immediate viewings they secured a new tenant, all within a12 hour period - something another high street agency failed to do in 5 weeks! One of their signs damaged my car and nearly hit me in February after not being properly secured. After contacting DEEDS I was told it wasn't their responsibility and put into contact with the company that fits the boards (Agency Express) as I was told that it was their responsibility. Agency Express denied all responsibility, but after the board came flying off and they were made aware, they have replaced it but moved it to a different location, and I was told they will do nothing to assist me and if I want to take it further it would have to be through legal means. Ultimately I have a dent in my car and 2 companies that are both denying responsibility for the damage.
Darren and Hayley did a fantastic job selling our house for the full asking price within a week of listing, after a different online agent was completely incompetent and couldn’t get anyone through the door. Very professional, quick turnaround, regular updates and an overall fantastic experience for a very competitive price. Thanks all.

Darren came to survey and value my property. He was polite, friendly and professional. He took his time to properly assess and create an EPC ready for us to market and gave us a no nonsense valuation. The selling fee is really reasonable and they advertise on all major property sales sites. We will be instructing shortly and trust Deeds to do their utmost to sell our property.
Entertainment for all the kids . The pay per ride cars at the entrance are a cheap shot though , having just paid a fortune to get in.
