Went with Property shop due to the reputation they have to sell my property and luckily ended up buying my new home with them. From start to finish I was looked after, informed of every step. If I had any questions they were dealt with immediately. Towards the end it was a little testing but all the staff were very supportive even those not dealing with my house sale, purchase of new... they ensured someone always got back in touch with me. Chris Dunn at Entwistle Green was absolutely fantastic - sold our house after a poor experience with a previous estate agent. Within 8 days of registering with EG, we got an offer that we accepted. Just over the last month we have had call to re-let a couple of our properties, this was handled by Luke Squirrell, and the team at Farrell Heyworth Lancaster. Don’t bother using this estate agents unless you have time to waste chasing them for updates and information, waiting for return phone calls for days on end if at all and putting a For Sale sign that couldn’t be see from the road unless you was directly in front of the property. The fact that they listed a three bedroom true bungalow as a five bedroom house with an upstairs bathroom & that the property’s USP was the large garage they didn’t bother adding to the description explains the level of competency that you will face. Their only prompt action was the cashing the bill. Would I recommend them? NO

I tried to making a viewing. A lady answered the call and said no viewings are allowed until she has seen my bank statement. This will defer anyone from buying. Most estate agents allow viewings and only when you make an offer, it is then that you need to provide proof of funds. Tiger estates are deploying an approach where sellers will struggle to sell. Do not use tiger's. Only use tigers if you dont want to sell your property.

We dealt with a number of agents before signing up with Tiger. They are head and shoulders above the others in the Kirkham area. Other agents did not keep us updated on what was happening with our property. At Tiger, we dealt with Steven and Kim. Steven bent over backwards to keep us updated on viewings and progress. He kept in regular touch with us (we were selling from 200 miles away, so communication was important) and he always spent time on the phone with us when he called. In our experience, this is unusual. He is knowledgable, efficient and can’t do enough for you. When the time came, Kim expedited the sale quickly and professionally. Full marks. Tiger.

Alan Hutton is a hardworking broker and an absolute credit to the industry. he is so patient and nothing is ever too much trouble. I know first hand that he will work late just to get his work done for you. from start to finish (although we aren't quite finished as we are waiting to exchange and receive moving dates etc as we are now in a chain) he has answered any questions we have or request. he had our DIP written at short notice and got us a great mortgage that was affordable for us and explained all the jargon that we didn't understand. without Alan there's no way we would know what we were doing. getting a mortgage is an absolute scary minefield. Alan made it simple, straightforward and far less daunting. I recommend Alan to any first time buyer. rates are very reasonable considering how much work he does for you. thank you Alan

Phoned to book a viewing and spoke to a very rude Gentleman to be told that they haven’t got time to do a viewing and if I was that interested I can put an offer in. I’m sorry to burst his bubble but if I’m buying something for 150k I do want to view it. He then said because I wouldn’t speak to his mortgage advisor if I was to view and offer I would have to speak to the advisor to get financially qualified disgusting agency avoid at all costs

I spoke with Tom at your move about viewing a property in old skelmersdale and was told they did not have any staff to conduct a viewing for a week or so due to having a shortage of staff .we then done a drive by viewing on the property and liked it so much decided to go straight to the office and put a offer in for the full asking price , only to be told when we got there someone had an offer accepted having viewed the property the previous day ,on the day I had originally phoned up to ask for a viewing !! Not to be trusted ,unfortunately may have to use them in the future ,shortage of estate agents advertising property’s in Skelmersdale

Absolute disgrace of a company. Pushed the seller to move out when there was no need from the buyer side, accused the buyer with their financial services checks of money laundering, when they didn't understand the transaction as the house was being bought through a business, yet the solicitors and mortgage company were perfectly ok with. Incompetent at best, now only dealing with these clowns from the Skelmersdale branch through the solicitors.

Spencer & Leigh have been managing the rental of my house in Brighton for 6 months now. I live and work in SE Asia so the property is truly trusted to their care. I have found the level of service from Spencer & Leigh to be very good indeed. When we decided to put our house up for sale, it was very tempting to go with one of the many online-only agents to save a few hundred quid. We decided not to do that and to go with a local agent instead. We are so glad we picked Stones Young. From the first valuation visit to the day of the handover they were everything you'd hope an estate agent would be. Always responsive, regardless of which member of the team you spoke with. Very pro-active, moving things along so there were no frustrations for us. At the end of the day, Stones Young have such a competitive rate, why would you risk using anybody else?
