I've recently started letting my property through Reeds Rains. I'm a first-time landlord so the experience was completely alien to me, but the team there really made it feel a lot easier. I‘ve been living in WP for 3yrs, this is a good place for my family. The staffs here are very kind and helpful. Carlos is the best receptionist. And all the team members are wonderful. But one thing not good is the lifts, there are only two lift in use and one of them always out of service .

Hannah is the property manager for my room at 115 Princess Street. She has been responsive, professional, and helpful during my booking and move-in date. She did a good job of handing down my room keys quickly even though I was getting a bit late for my appointment due to traffic. She happily changed it a couple of times without any problems. I'm looking out for a happy stay in this property and hoping the issue of the lift can be resolved soon, as shared by Hannah. She is a good professional and I wish her the best. As other individuals have said, I would give 0 stars if possible. Complete is an incredibly unprofessional agency. Their response time is unacceptably long, you have to chase them numerous times to get a response, they are uncooperative, unwilling to help, and make promises they do not deliver against (e.g. one year down the line they have still not repaired things in the property that were broken when moving in). As we are now moving out, they have to no surprise detracted a significant amount from our deposit without responding with an outline as to why. I cannot encourage you enough to choose another agency to work with and rent through. It's been an incredibly disappointing experience and has made our stay all but pleasant and smooth.
My wife and I have been very happy with the service provided to us by Harriette at Complete. She is very pleasant but professional, efficient, a good, prompt communicator and she is supportive of our needs. I could add that the same applies to the rental team at Complete as well.

After few years of very poor service and management of our flat (we're tenants), since some time we have the pleasure to have Sky Mansfield as our property manager, and I must say she's been very helpful and efficient in any issues we had since she arrived. My first few years dealing with Complete were definitely a 1 star review, but now I'm happy to change to a good 4 start only thanks to Sky and how helpful she's been in many occasions.

Steer clear! The most difficult agents I have ever rented from. My housemate and I stayed at our apartment for 2 and a half years, which might sound silly when leaving such a bad review. However, to be fair to them the location was great and the rental price was good too. However, we had a HUGE list of issues upon moving in, and struggled to get them fixed. These weren't just small jobs that we could get by without. Units were literally hanging off the walls (actually hitting my housemate when they did fall down). Now when we come to move out, we are being charged for the same things we tried to get fixed when moving in. When speaking to the landlord, he said he was charged £1500 to pay for the issues before we moved in. So I assume they are charging both the tenant and landlord for jobs, and pocketing what they can. Communication is a chore and no care for the tenants whatsoever. Avoid!
Just wanted to leave a positive review for Jo, she is the most professional and helpful person I have dealt with in this office and always gives a great level of customer service, all my issues are always resolved and within a timely manor too. 10/10 recommend.
I have rented with Bridgfords for many years now and have found them much better than any other letting agent I’ve been with in the past! after a 15 month search my daughters offer was accepted on a property, told it would be removed from the market, STC, paid for a surveyor to survey the property, had everything in place to proceed with the mortgage company, then they had a walk in offering a higher offer and instead of saying it was STC they had her Gazumped! leaving her out of pocket and without a home to look forward to, not professional nor ethical!!! Would not buy a house with this company, would highly recommend you do not buy a property from such an unprofessional company!!

My husband and I have two properties on the market (one just sold) through Hunters, and I cannot say enough about them. They are extremely professional. hardworking, and pleasant to deal with. We began by dealing with Martin Elliott (the Branch Manager at Hunters), who always answered my emails and queries promptly and thoroughly (even on weekends!). He made arrangements to visit my properties immediately (both are investment properties; I live overseas) and had them up advertised online in no time at all. We were blown away by his attention to detail and urgency in getting this done for us without any waiting time whatsoever. We love the advertisements for both places, too; the pictures and descriptions he used are absolutely beautiful! Ben Cook, the Sales Progression Manager, contacted us within days to notify us of some showings they had for both places, and a week after that, one place had sold. Ben wasted no time in getting us in contact with the company’s on-site solicitor to help us through the process. He has been wonderful to deal with; he is obviously passionate about his work and is always happy to answer my questions and always, like Martin, responds immediately in a very positive manner. The company also has an excellent online portal system where you can enter all necessary information / documentation and track your progress with the sale of your properties. This helps keep everything centralized and very organized for all people involved. In short, this agency has been a massive breath of fresh air after years dealing with other agencies and solicitors during the process of purchasing investment properties. These are the first properties my husband and I have sold, so we expected much of the same that we had been used to (a lot of jargon we didn’t understand, cold and impersonable correspondence, and a general feeling of jadedness). Hunters is the complete opposite of this, and we could not be happier!

I am going to leave my house. I have told them I am going to leave the house and, they agreed. Now, they want a new payment. They told me that I have to pay an advertising cost to find a new tenant. Otherwise, the full payment until my tenant agreements ends date. It says on my tenancy: Should either party wish to terminate the Tenancy, it is agreed that the Tenant must serve a minimum of 1 month’s advance written notice to be served on the Landlord. I already served 46 days of advanced notice, and they were agreed. I am afraid they will burn my deposit. I will update this message after the deposit process. Probably I will write this issue to more places after the deposit process. Especially on my news site called ManchesterNews.com
I can't say all my interactions with C&R was amazing but I want to give our maintenance manager a shout out. She has single handedly uplifted my impression of the entire company through our witty banter and her support in everything/anything related to our flat. She has been really helpful, arguing for the best outcomes for everything related to our flat. It has been quite an enjoyable journey with Rachael helping us deal with traumatic home -appliance malfunctions as efficiently as possible. Dealing with property agents are never easy/ fun but Rachael is the only maintainence manager I have experienced that succeeded in building a good rapport with us. (:

If you are a tenant, stay away! - As soon as they have your money they forget about you. Even before you move in some of your questions go unanswered. I still don't know if I'm allowed to change energy provider! - The landlords are cruel, tight, unpleasant people who don't care about you and only want their money. E.g. we had mice in our flat (the fault of the tradesmen they use) and the landlord refused to pay for a one night stay in a hotel (£25) despite it being her fault the issue wasn't sorted immediately and a hotel stay was required. Also refused to provide a dining table in a furnished property - not too much to ask when you pay more than £7k upfront!!!! Our landlord was called Rhiannon, if you're interested in a property and she's the landlord - run! - Poor communication - we had an engineer just walk into our flat one Saturday morning because someone at Goodwin Fish had informed him that the flat was empty - this was at least a few days before our move out date. Even on our move out date we had another member of staff from Goodwin Fish come over to say they had viewings planned which they obviously had to reschedule! - Attempted to go against the tenancy agreement multiple times and tried to arrange viewings and visits despite not providing 24 hours notice. - Just an awful company that all tenants should stay away from. 9 months of hell staying in a cold, miserable flat are finally over and moving to a flat managed by Wren Properties is the best decision we ever made.

Beyond terrible customer service. I booked a viewing and received both SMS and email confirmation. I waited at the property at the arranged time but no one arrived. After 10 minutes I called and was told that they didn't have any record of my information but it would be passed on to the rentals team and they would call me back. After 50 minutes I still hadn't received a call so I called again and once again I was told they didn't have my details and was I sure I was calling the right place! I said I had two confirmations. The agent apologised but couldn't fit me in today. I asked about waiting for 50 minutes for a call back only to be told that they are busy and can't call everyone back!

Stevenson Whyte are beyond brilliant. Landlord speaking but service is likely as great for tenants too. I tired of whizz bang agents in Manchester – all marketing and no administration. As the years went by, tenant complaints about them came in too. Stevenson Whyte was a very intentioned choice on my part, a gentler experience for myself and tenants and one where administration doesn’t miss a beat. I would hate that to sound too relaxed though – boy do these guys step up to the mark when there are issues and do so in a calm, quiet, unflustered way, going way, way beyond the fabled “extra mile”. Good for them. May they remain small and intently customer-focused. And, of course, so worthy of trust, massively important for an overseas landlord.

I have been using Manlets to manage the renting of my city centre apartment for over 10 years, until it was sold recently. Throughout that time they have provided a friendly, professional and effective service at a reasonable cost. They have managed to find new tenants very quickly and often managed to increase rentals in line with the market. They have also dealt with any issues with tenants and replacement or maintenance of any items as needed at a reasonable cost. When I was going through the sale of the property they continued to support me professionally, despite knowing that their income stream for this property would probably end. I would highly recommend using Manlets to manage your property and indeed would use them again myself if circumstances lead me to invest again in city centre property.

I have never seen a worse letting agency than We Let Properties! water can run down the wall ( from March 2020 - August 2020 ) , you can report them several times but wait for months bc of covid , and more and more things. Im glad i move from this house.
Disgusting service, AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! After living in one of their properties for over 1 1/2 years we have had to request the washing machine be fixed 3 times which has been received with disgustingly bad customer service specifically from Alicia. Alicia feels that mocking and having a highly sarcastic unprofessional tone is an acceptable way to speak to a customer who is in need reporting a maintenance issue (full bottom floor flooded). Alicia felt it was appropriate to place full blame on us before a contractor was sent to diagnose the issue and I am outraged by her vile tone on the phone. We have been great tenants throughout our stay and have only reported genuine faults with the property for which we have paid double the cost of the appliance to still not be fixed. Alicia is in no way of a position to discuss a customers attitude in an email after the outrageous way she conducts herself on the phone. We will be taking this matter further.
I should have read the reviews before choosing this letting agents as a lot unfortunatly seem to say the same thing. When me and my partner moved out the property we cleaned, hoovered and made sure it was left in a good condition. When receiving the move out report I was shocked and confused as to how they had charged us £162 for cleaning. About 95% of the report stated 'good condition' and the rest had 'finish clean' or 'dirty' still I couldn't get my head around how it came to this much money taken from our deposit for a small studio flat. I opened up a dispute with DPS and agreed there were tiny areas that needed a wipe down and would agree for them to take a small cost in which I think was fair and the correct amount for a quick clean round with a sponge and scourer. I was happy that I had taken my own pictures on my move out date to use as evidence. The DPS had also reviewed the report and ruled in our favour agreeing it didn't need a professional clean and that the cleaning issues at checkout were 'nominal'. Just bare in mind to take pictures of absolutely everything on the move out date incase this happens to you.
We let properties has managed my property for over two years and have been nothing but amazing. From finding tenants to dealing with maintenance issues. Their knowledge of the the industry and professionalism really do make them one of the best agents I’ve worked with. Their professional response to the disgruntled tenants ‘issues’ on Google reviews shows that they really do cross their t’s and dot their i’s.
My partner and I are recently relocated to Salford, and after multiple properties falling through for a variety of reasons, we found a lovely little flat on WLP. After enquiring about the property and viewing the video tour, we decided to go with the property. We were met with incredibly professional hospitality from multiple agents, Katie especially was fantastic, they made our experience easy, hassle free and very swift (as most other experiences I’ve had with renting have been painfully slow, long and full of stress). The whole process was a breeze and when we drove up, got the keys, they gave us a lovely little welcome card signed by everyone at WLP which was very touching, we got to the flat and place was fantastic, they provided us with an incredibly detailed inventory (I kid you not around 100 pages of details) and asked us to send any information we find within 48 hours, which was very reasonable, we had electric, the water and electric meter readings had been done for us prior to moving into the property, it was just a fantastic experiences. I highly rate this company and will tell anyone I meet to go with them because they were fantastic at every point. Thank you WLP and thank you Katie!

I have lived in an NPP property the past year and had a great experience throughout my tenancy dealing with the NPP team.
Fraser and NPP were perfect partners through the sale of our apartment. Entering the market property can be a stress filled and frustrating process under normal circumstances but add a global pandemic into the mix with the sellers being locked down in southern Europe and you have the potential for a sellers nightmare. However throughout it all NPP were confident of the market and calm in their navigation through the choppy waters with setting up of viewings, surveys, arrangements for maintenance and fixes to the property, coordinating clearance of furniture and even taking care of the final meter readings. Thanks to Fraser and NPP the nightmare never occurred because any problem always had a solution. I throughly recommend NPP Residential
I spent three days in Manchester with my daughter in mid-August, searching for a flat for her and her boyfriend. We’re from London and don’t know Manchester at all, but thanks to Yasmin from NPP, who was so helpful, we came away having agreed a rental on a fabulous flat in Affinity Riverside. We met Yasmin on our second day, and she was so helpful and professional. She emailed to confirm our meeting, telephoned just before to say she’d meet us at our nearby hotel to show us the way to the flat and then spent lots of time showing us around the building and several different flats. Having decided by that evening that Affinity was the right flat, we called Yasmin the next morning to request a second viewing at short notice, and once again, she responded immediately and met us a couple of hours later. She then negotiated with the landlord on our behalf and secured us a beautiful flat at a good price. At all times she was friendly, efficient and professional and we were very impressed with the help we received. I highly recommend NPP and we’d certainly deal with them again. Thanks to Yasmin my daughter and her boyfriend will be moving into a great flat, in a great area in the middle of September. Very happy - thank you Yasmin and NPP. Great service!

Attended Sheldon Grange in early November 2018 as a Supplier, laying on a Cocktail Party for a Hen Party of 25ish Hens. I get to work in some great "Hen Party Venues" and this was no different. Easy to get to. All the mod cons. Plenty of space and access. I was just in the downstairs and the kitchen/diner, but it looked immaculate. This would be a great venue for either Hens, Birthday...or even Corporate Events.

Edit in response to response: The first time I contacted V properties I was told the incorrect address was supplied to them by the landlords contact. After speaking to him he provided me with evidence showing that the landlord actually supplied V properties with the correct address and he was unsure how they messed it up. When I called V properties the 2nd and 3rd time I told them this and I was told I would get a call back. It’s amazing how negative reviews get a response in 10 minutes but a phone call regarding an error costing me an extra £100 is ignored for a month. Avoid these estate agents at all costs. They were the listing agent for my flat, which is managed by my landlord which is fine. In all my documents and emails with them they provided me with the wrong address for the property. I only realised months later after having in my bills etc being listed and paid for the WRONG FLAT. I was paying bills for a flat I don’t even live in. V properties tried to blame my landlord for giving the wrong information. I checked with my landlord and he showed me evidence that he supplied V properties with the right address, they just somehow gave me the wrong one. My tenancy agreement which was written by V properties also has the wrong flat listed so I don’t even know the legal issues with that. After being slapped with a double electricity bill, I called V properties to see what they would do to rectify their mistake. I was told they were check with someone else and I’d get a call back in 2 days. A week later I heard nothing so I called back and was told the same thing. I called again another week later and I emphasised to them how worrying this mistake is for me as I’m a student and can’t afford to be paying double electricity bills. I was told my enquiry would be a priority and that I’d get a cal back the following Monday. That was a month ago. DO NOT USE THIS AGENT.
Please safe your time and money, this is by far the worst provider in the city, they will only look to take advantage of you; with cero support, cero property maintenance and even keeping illegally your stuff; asking you for pre payments for over 6/12 months. During the pandemic, when everyone was supporting each other, they were the unique exception, specially given our status of international postgrad students.
Please avoid this agency at all cost. I had loads of issues with my flat and never managed to get them to come round and fix them! They also try and take as much of your deposit as possible for those issues they never fixed!. Most agencies are bad, however V Properties are the worst.
I cannot fault V Properties! After horrible experiences with issues and lack of repairs in the past with other agents I didn’t have much hope for the future of renting. But with V Properties if there has ever been an issue they have responded to and fixed everything with absolute urgency. I am so impressed with their overall service! From signing agreement to beginning tenancy it has been an easy and smooth process. Leanne especially and her team are amazing! We had a leak from our bathroom and it was tended to and sorted within the hour. Definitely feel like we’re in safe hands with V Properties!
I paid a holding deposit to reserve a particular flat in a building in which they had several flats available at different dates. The day I was supposed to move in, they told me that the current tenants were refusing to leave and that I should give them a few more days to sort it out. They kept on delaying the move in date until the lease on my previous flat expired and I had to beg my previous landlord to let me stay longer in order not to become homeless. In the end, I found out that the flat I had reserved had been let out to someone else as it had become available 2 weeks prior to my move in date and they did not want to "lose out" on rent. They were planning to give me another flat in the same building which would have become available 3 weeks after the lease in my previous flat expired. Instead of being honest upfront, they dragged along the lie with the tenants who were refusing to move out. I only managed to get my money back after threatening with court action! Not to mention, on top of being deceiving, they have also been extremely rude all along! Avoid at all costs!!!

The company is in absolute shambles. I have never experienced such disarray and disrespect towards paying customers. I have have listed the several failings I have experienced as a resident at one of their properties. You can certainly make up your own mind from the facts bellow. - After the initial viewing and agreeing to proceed I heard nothing for over 3 weeks. when I contacted for an update I was told there is no update and the property isn't ready yet. Even tho I was prepared to secure this property there and then. - a week later I was contacted and told that there is another person interested in the property and that it no longer was available to myself. Another week later I was told that this was now available for me and that we can proceed with the application. -a few days later I got a phone call saying that everything was now in place for me to proceed with my application; to then get an email 2 hours later stating the property wasn't available. I was then offered 4 alternative flats in the building all not having a single spec to what I asked for in the first place. - the person I was dealing with left the company and I was now back at square one as the new person didn't want to carry on what was already in place. - eventually another flat was found that met my needs and wants. On viewing the property I made several remarks where things weren't up to standard. I was reassured that things would be corrected before moving in. - I was relentlessly pressured to sign before the end of the month even tho I mentioned it on several occasions I wanted to move the month after. - on referencing: I was called to tell me the referencing was completed. to then be called 1 hour later by the referencing company asking me to initiate the referencing process. - I moved into the property and some of the issues highlighted on my viewing were still present. after several complaints nothing was addressed. - my direct debit was set up 3 days before the due date; when I asked for this to be changed to the correct date I was told "you are wrong, that is how DD work! they take the money 3 days before due date" I may add this is still not fixed. - 8 months on since I moved in the main issue highlighted is still present. I have had to vacate the property every week for an entire day for the issue to be addressed. normally not an issue but seeing as we are in a nation lockdown this has not been easy to arrange. All of these measures have had no positive improvement on the issue. - emails, phone calls are not answered with my complaints. Only the buildings team seems to want to make a difference. as you can see this is far from a "luxury" experience that they advertise and if I had the chance to go back and never deal with these people I wouldn't of. stay well away if you want to be treated properly and remain sane. Response to the reply bellow... The simple fact is you do not take anything seriously at all. Every single point has been previously made with zero interest or outcome from your side. Only now that I am posting publicly is there any interest or response. Also at no point did I call the out of hours line; yet again a sign of miss communication and misinformation between your team. Your “senior” member of the team ignores my emails and ended the last email with the phrase: “this is the end of the matter and I do not wish to speak about this issue again in the future” 👌🏼 very professional indeed when the issue is not addressed. The only people that seems to want to do something is the team here at the property who are clearly hampered by head office to do their job correctly.
