5 letting agents in Hulme

I am going to leave my house. I have told them I am going to leave the house and, they agreed. Now, they want a new payment. They told me that I have to pay an advertising cost to find a new tenant. Otherwise, the full payment until my tenant agreements ends date. It says on my tenancy: Should either party wish to terminate the Tenancy, it is agreed that the Tenant must serve a minimum of 1 month’s advance written notice to be served on the Landlord. I already served 46 days of advanced notice, and they were agreed. I am afraid they will burn my deposit. I will update this message after the deposit process. Probably I will write this issue to more places after the deposit process. Especially on my news site called ManchesterNews.com

I can't say all my interactions with C&R was amazing but I want to give our maintenance manager a shout out. She has single handedly uplifted my impression of the entire company through our witty banter and her support in everything/anything related to our flat. She has been really helpful, arguing for the best outcomes for everything related to our flat. It has been quite an enjoyable journey with Rachael helping us deal with traumatic home -appliance malfunctions as efficiently as possible. Dealing with property agents are never easy/ fun but Rachael is the only maintainence manager I have experienced that succeeded in building a good rapport with us. (:

Not my estate agents but they try and get into our building every so often to show around prospective tenants and don't have a key and are rude when we don't let them in because they could be anyone. Then spend a lot of time buzzing the doorbell. Unprofessional idiots

Acted nice till we moved in and then became very rude. Multiple things broken which we weren’t told about before moving in, including the oven, when contacted about them being broken they told us it was too much work to fix it so they wouldn’t fix it. House would flood every time it rained and they sent someone out but they just said its unfixable and it just happens when it rains and just put a towel on it. Got to the point nearly 12 months later where the flooding got so bad that our entire ground floor was a puddle from the flooding and they eventually agreed it need to be fixed and they would send someone out. Took another month for them to send someone to fix it saying it was too hot to get a handy man to fix it??? Turns out the gutter was broken and once fixed never flooded again, but it took a year! Then the carpet was ruined and smelled disgusting and we were worried there could be mould under the carpet from constant flooding, but they refused to do anything about it.

The worst estate agent I’ve ever dealt with. They act silent untill the end of your tenancy period and then they turn to the other face and paying you at least £250 for the cleaning even if you left the flat better than before. Moreover, they are ignoring emails and don’t responding to deposit company (DPS) till the last minute which takes you roughly 3 months to get your deposit back after leaving.

I am moving out of the property. I have been living there for the last 9 months. I have enjoyed my time there. The house was very nice and clean and nice family home. Whenever I need something to fix a house or any assistance, George Adams is always very helpful. There was not even an off-day hitting, but he resolved on time that day. And he listened well to the problem of my others. i am really appreciate. off-course you are able to get 5 stars. George Adam and his staff are extremely professional and helpful. I would strongly recommend the good family home to George Adam. They will get the right house. Thank you.

Stood me up on a remote viewing, couldn’t even be bothered to ring me saying she was running late which is understandable, it happens but have the decency to let your potential customer know what is going on. I chased three times and to this day she still hasn’t got back in touch. Awful customer service.

Cherish Property ltd. manage a couple of properties for us. I've had no issues with them. Regular Information re: rent paid, works that need to be done, tenant reports etc. come via e-mail. Tenant referencing, inventory and change overs have all happened smoothly when they occur. no complaints. Would recommend them.
