Appalling customer service. We tried repeatedly to book a viewing of a property. Despite repeated assurances we would be contacted once viewings were available, we were never contacted. We attempted to call several times to be met with an answer phone. We left our details to be called back which we never recieved. We were very keen on the property so kept trying. Once I finally got through to a member of staff, I received apologies, was informed they had been booking viewings of the property (which in fairness were cancelled but we were never informed). I asked to be called once viewings were being booked and asked a question about the property. The member of staff promised to call me with answers to my questions. That was several weeks ago. We have since given up and had an offer accepted on a nearby property. Absolutely appalling, disrespectful and dishonest service.

First time tenant with reed rains. The whole application process was very streamlined. All done contactless other than picking up the actual keys for obvious reasons. Craig answered every question and got everything sorted ASAP and the whole process took less than 2 weeks. Very happy hopefully the whole tenancy is this positive.

Reeds Rains in Didsbury were fabulous. Right from the initial visit to the property for sale, Kimberley's and Elly's enthusiasm and confidence soon allayed any anxiety I had. They were very knowledgeable of the area and were very patient and helpful, answering all of my questions and explaining the selling process comprehensively. Despite Covid , when I rang their office, Craig was always on the ball answering the phone and never failed passing on messages. The whole team, particularly Katie and David, went over and above their remit to keep the process running smoothly and quickly. They maintained a strong communication link between both solicitors, the buyers and me. Reeds Rains offer an excellent service and I would have no hesitation in using them again in the future.

Katie was brilliant in showing us around the place, prompt and enthusiastic. The process of signing all the documentation and getting to the move in date was made easy by good communication between ourselves and Bridgfords.

Moved into cozy furnished flat, we knew that there were a few issues with the flat when we went for the viewing, and were told it would be sorted by the time we moved in. When we moved in, it was dirty from the last tenants. We spoke to them and they sent out cleaners pretty quickly. But, the issues were still not fixed. First, There was a faulty shelf in the bathroom which then lead to it falling and breaking the sink. They ‘sealed’ that after we told them. But, tried to blame us. the flooring was uneven and coming apart with mould from a faulty pipe behind the toilets. We emailed for months The only response we got from them was ‘The landlord hasn’t okayed it.’ This lead to the damages being much worse, and probably more expensive. Eventually they fixed it. But, took longer for us to get new flooring. Then there was a leak in the spare room, which was coming from with the flat above. They were in no rush getting the upstairs landlord to fix it. It took three attempts (after months of constant emailing) we had to live in a flat that stunk of damp for months. They finally fixed it after we threatened to go to the council. Then it finally came to moving out, they tired to say we left furniture and that we would have to pay for it to be removed. They sent two pictures of furniture, second picture happened to have more furniture in than the first one! Luckily we had proof that the stuff wasn’t ours. They clearly knew wasn’t ours. As, they didn’t seem to have an issue when the last tenants moved. They knew what they were doing, and just tried to get more money off us. Lastly, we were supposed to get the deposit within two weeks after moving, It was well over a month... don’t bother.

Mike and Rob at McDonnell Haydock are very good letting agents. Having rented out property for years, they are the best agency I've worked with. They make it really easy for Landlords, so much so, you'll be considering buying more property for them to manage.

From the first meeting, Mike listened carefully to our very specific requirements, and we found a suitable flat the same day. Daniel, and also Rob, dealt with our queries and requests with a personable and helpful manner. Thanks to their approach, what could have been quite a complex process, turned out to be fairly straightforward, which was really appreciated.

Andrea handled recent House Purchase very professionally, was always contactable (usually calling back around 5pm the same day) and was hugely helpful communicating with the sitting tenants, sellers and sellers solicitors. Very understanding on the fact that I couldn't view the property before making an offer and was only able to send a friend round. Highly recommend and hope if I ever go through a house purchase again that Andrea is the estate agent involved.
