My mum was informed that her house would be cleaned and decorated prior to moving into her rental property. Instead, after being asked to pay a year’s rent in advance, she was given the keys to a house which had not been decorated, was damp, extremely dirty and in a poor state of repair. When asked to address these concerns, the agent said it wasn’t her fault and walked out leaving my mum with keys to an unfit property and nowhere else to go having sold her home through Bridgfords the same day. I am appalled at the way my mum had been treated and lack of professionalism shown by the letting team. What shameful behaviour.
