8 letting agents in Chester

From my initial contact with Harry to my dealings with Karen & Helen I have found Leaders to be excellent from a incoming tenant who has never been through the rental process previously. I would like to highlight in particular both Harry and Helen for their friendly and helpful approach, in particular Helen has gone out of her way to make my move in as stress free as possible. I am hoping that my dealings with the Chester Leaders team is as good an experience in the future as it has been up to now.

We are moving out of our parent’s homes for the very first time, so very daunting! Helen has made the entire experience so easy and solved every query we had quickly, working around us too. She’s gone above and beyond already. Such an asset to the leaders team. Definitely recommend 👏🏻

we recently refurbished a property and struggled to place a tenant with another agent. Leaders placed a card through the door and we explored them as a service provider. We were very impressed with the site visit and their credentials, where we had a void for over 8 weeks, it was filled in within 48hrs and i happy with our new tenant they have placed. The fees are worth the effort and we look forward to a long last relationship with Francesca and the team

We recently let our property out with Leaders Chester who did a wonderful job. They were helpful and professional throughout. Fran came to do our initial valuation and was great, she answered all our questions as we have never been landlords before. Helen found us excellent tenants within a couple of days on Rightmove and has been so helpful - always happy to chat on the phone or answers emails quickly. Would highly recommend Leaders for an excellent and professional service.

Six months ago the new letting agent Dan said he was looking into my complaint. No a peep after multiple phone calls. We rented through RR for nearly 2 years. It seems they are great at selling, useless at letting. Upon veiwing the property we asked if it would be cleaned when we moved in. It wasnt so a two week stand off insued. We eventually caved but wrote a long list of issues that needed looking into. Six months in one of the issues, ( tiles needing a touch up) caused damp to get in and tiles to fall off rendering the shower useless. 3 months to get this fixed. We sufferd with a broken washing machine for six months, and the boiler broke three times in the two years. During this time the entire rental staff of RR left and I had a new rental manager every 6 - 9 months. All who hated the job and i cant blame them as the systems in place were shocking. Reeds Rains cannot manage lettings very well. They missed 3 property inspections which i had to take days off for work. Then one day a lady walked without notice to me in my boxers. No knocking or anything. I was mortified. She was from RR. We moved out with a huge list of complaints requesting reinbursement for days taken of work and for the 6 months of washing i had to pay for. Many phone calls and many talks and not a thing. RR cannot run a leasing property to save there lives. Please avoid. They dont care and all hate the jobs they are doing in the lettings side. 2021 edit. Still never had a responce. Also suspect isnt it all the 5 star reviews that have only reviewed one place. This place. Suspect and probably manipulation.

I’m still looking for a property but so far Reeds Rains have stood out as really helpful and organised, especially Hannah who took all my details and suggested properties, and Charlotte who showed me round.

I put my property on the market with Reeds Rains after Nina viewed the house and gave me a good valuation. The professionalism of Nina and the rest of the team was exemplary from valuation to completion, which was all done during the difficult times we were experiencing with the pandemic. My property was sold to the second couple who viewed it and an offer was accepted after only 2 months of being on the market, I can't thank Nina enough for how the whole sale was completed and I would recommend Reeds Rains to anyone who is looking to sell a property.

Just to say how much I appreciated all the effort, support and professionalism by Nina and Nikki in selling the house. We were not the easiest of clients as we were more than one seller in a probate sale, and there were definitely some low points along the way as a buyer pulled out. I really appreciated both of their straight talking styles and huge determination to get the house sold to fit in with our buyer’s wish to move before Christmas.

I went to see a property in Upton with Amy at the end of March, she was great, very knowledgeable about everything to do with the property and the area, really helpful and easy to talk to. I had an offer accepted and was in touch with Amy over the course of the next couple of months. I knew that if I contacted the office and asked to speak to Amy, she would call me back as soon as she could, without fail - this really offers a sense of comfort as you know any query or issue is going to be dealt with quickly and professionally. Nothing was too much trouble for Amy, if she didn't have the answer, she would come straight back once she did. I found all of the team really friendly, responsive and friendly, I would highly recommend all of the Chester team of Beresford Adams to anyone buying a property in this area. The process of buying a house is a stressful one so it's nice when one of the parties you deal with takes that element of stress away!

Great service from Beresford Adams, particularly Katrina and Sophie, with whom I had most contact. They were unfazed when the first buyer pulled out and soon found another. As I live some distance from the property I particularly appreciated that they dealt with all viewings and even went to read the meters for me on completion. Used this agency to sell a house recently. Initial contact was professional and persuasive. Later service was amateurish and poor - various errors made. Their service is vastly over priced for what they do.

We chose Strutt & Parker against competitors because of their immediate response and enthusiasm. We were able to discuss the basis of the sale, comment on preparation particulars, and generally build a rapport with the sales team. We were particularly impressed that several members of the Chester team went to visit the property to enable them to more accurately discuss and match it to interested people. During the sale period, we were kept regularly updated on progress, with every member of the team knowledgeable and up to date. Would advise anyone to not use Belvoir for rental. The property i rented was unclean when I picked up the keys, had to have a second clean, an even after that I still had to clean! They have now taken £40 off me for not cleaning the oven, which was dirty when I moved in in the first place, they are disputing as this is the one photograph I didn't take, however did take pictures and videos of the rest of the filth. Absolutely unacceptable service from Belvoir.

Avoid. Or at least avoid Gordon. He is overly obsessed about gardens, hounding you to spend all your life trying to achieve some level of garden perfection possible only in his imagination. Maintained garden perfectly well and were still charged extortionate gardening fee upon ending tenancy.

Hi, We stayed at one of the properties managed by Belvoir Chester, all staff were helpful when we contacted them. We had an issue with the lights which was fixed, also an issue with the roof leaking which was also fixed in a timely manner. The place was not super clean when we arrived but it was more than acceptable. Note that Laura and Gordon were very helpful. Cheers David

I have nothing bad to say about Belvoir Chester. All staff were friendly and helpful. We got a lovely welcome pack when we first moved in. They responded to emails in good time and sorted out any issues with the property promptly. When we were moving out they were good at letting us know about viewings in advance and worked them around us. They made the whole renting process very clear and easy and I got my full deposit back! Would definitely recommend.

We rented our first home with Belvoir. They made the whole experience quick and easy. Any issues we had were fixed fast and efficiently. We will definitely rent off them again as the customer service was everything you could hope for in an estate agents.
