worst estate agents ever only use guarantor then when leave property take as much as can from the guarantor flats arnt cleaned when you move in but when you leave you have to have them professionally carpet cleaned and painted not in a medium colour grey or they take you to court

This is probably my worse experience with an estate agency. Doesn't seem they know how to draft paperwork. All wrong. Keep all your receipts what you pay guys you will need them. The worse part is after 6 months of renting they have nothing to do with you and you have to deal with the lard lord yourself which can be frustrating, time consuming and a complete headache. 1 star for the shop. Modern and clean.

Kerry Brown evicted me for asking for recycling bins. My partner and I had been living in a room in a large HMO managed by Browns for 8 months. We were very good tenants, with zero arrears, quiet and clean. We got along well with the other residents. They only supplied the building with a general waste bin, and I had been talking to the office about providing recycling bins for the residents for the past couple months. They gave me a number of excuses and I finally got the council involved. The day after I informed them I had contacted the council, we were evicted with 72 hours to leave. The reason given was that I had been asking for recycling bins. The good news is that the council has now provided the residence with a paper recycling bin, but there are still no bins for other types of recycling. Browns lets 78 buildings in the area. That's a lot of rubbish going to the landfill that doesn't need to be, and I was shocked that they chucked us out for having a conscience.

Had 2 calls with them before they gave me vital info needed for all prospective tenants which should have been the first thing I was notified of.

Fantastic experience. I've relocated from The Midlands and it was a source of some anxieties during pandemic, limited services, scarce trains etc. TLG took all the headache out of it. From virtual tour to processing paper work and answering my questions regarding meter types or broadband sockets present so I could arrange broadband ahead and work from home from day 1. The listing was true to the condition and it's just the home I was after. Flat handed over to me in a clean state ready fo move in, all in working order. Lovely touches of cleaning supplies left and I didnt even have to run to top up the metres but cracked on with settling in. Things like a spare bulb or a manual from white goods are also great. Very responsive ladies, very professional and friendly. The best agency I dealt with across the years. A great welcoming experience to another part of the country altogether.
