Efficient. Helpful. Worth it! I am a landlord of a small 2 bed flat in Wimbledon - non-commercial, letting it out for personal reasons. Prior to using Winchester White to find my tenants and let the property, I'd been cautious of using agency due to the fees. Winchester White's reputation precedes them. I found the registration process easy, well supported and very clear communication throughout. I was given options and felt part of the process. Renting out a property during a pandemic isn't easy and to be clear, property management and lettings can be difficult to navigate. You cant always predict the future and you have to accept this. Even during a slightly rocky period with my tenants when they needed to leave due to a change in circumstances, Jake was superbly professional. He ensured that Winchester White handled all the compliance issues, taking a huge amount of anxiety away from me. Jake is also good at setting out perspective and very good at recognising problems and dealing with them. You cannot really ask for more in terms of agency. Jake takes responsibility, is courteous, friendly and very up front. I don't feel he is at all duplicitous, but rather that he is vested in maintaining a good reputation and professionalism. Will continue to engage Winchester White for as long as I need to let my property out. Thanks Jake and the WW team.

Recently I was on the search for a two bed rental in SW London. I met many agents and attended several viewings non were as good as Emily. Completely consultative, knowledgeable and very helpful throughout the application and contract process. Couldn’t have had a better experience. Highly recommend.

Since I first started inquiring about the property I’m now in, Emily has been tremendously helpful with everything I asked. We had some issues with receiving the certificates but she went above and beyond to make sure I received them in time so I could have my first night at the flat. Even so she gave up her Saturday evening to make sure of this. I can’t remember the last time I received such amazing customer service due to her outstanding efforts and extremely good professionalism. Thank you Emily for doing such a great job!

Absolute horrible experience. My first viewing appointment was cancelled 40 mins before because the tenants suddenly decided they didnt want to let us in. Whilst annoying, not the agents fault. I had however taken the day off work to view the property. The viewing was then rescheduled to the following Monday (i again had to change workshifts). I rang the agency 1 hour before to check all was going ahead after the last experience and this was confirmed to me over the phone. Upon arriving however, i was left standing for 30 minutes... with no sign of the agent. I called the office and was told that the agent had instead gone to the garage with her car! The agent on the phone however assured me she would be on her way shortly. So 55 minutes in the wind and rain and still no sign. So i rang again and was told SHE WASNT EVEN COMING! she told me that because she had no car, she had no way of getting to me... aparently it was too difficult to catch a bus, send someone else or even inform me! The unprofessionalism is too much! I pied off rescheduling it YET AGAIN and will never use this company ever again. Imagine if you needed a dishwasher fixed... you'd be waiting a year!

I don't usually write reviews but I don't wish anyone to pass through the same situation I did. Found a flat I was interested in and gladly paid deposit and signed the contract for renting and moving in the end of February. Said flat had a tenant that basically never moved in there, left only a couple of boxes with shoes and forced the landlord to take the furniture in there (as it previously was advertised as a furnitured flat). Prior to moving in we asked the agency to give us the layout of the house and my flatmate was the one who had to go there to get measurements when I'd like to believe the agency itself should have been the one to get the measurements for us. Less than a week of us moving in, we get a call of urgency about how the current tenant decided they would stay in the flat. I don't understand why they advertised the house in the first place and allowed us to sign a contract when this could have happened. That tenant is someone who gave them more than enough trouble, and while they were protected by their contract, it's ridiculous how this was allowed to happen. Luckily we were able to not get kicked out of our current flat, but I find the situation very upsetting and how they made James shoulder everything by himself. We got our deposit money but are still owed money for the moving van and I don't feel much urgency of them to get that money as "they need to talk to their manager" for weeks. I still sent an email suggesting we would still be up to find another flat through them, but now decided to simply not to work with them anymore. I'm leaving this review for people to be careful and be 100% sure they will not sign a contract for a house they'll never move in to and waste time and money for nothing, like I did. I'm unfortunately very disappointed, while it's not entirely the agency fault, I felt a lot of lack of interest in finding a solution.

Bit pricey but the house manager is a lovely lady

I finally did not take a flat from them. When I contacted them, their reply was slow. Thus I called them. Denize who attended my call give me a personal touched service. She response was very in time and coordinated efficiently my viewing. She also gave ma a lot of information which helped me to make a decision and necessary calculation. Though I finally wanted to live in the area that they don't cover, if you look for a property in Wimbledon, I recommend that you contact Denize!

Staff were professional, and attentive. They maintained good communication throughout the period I had my property listed with them and they managed the onward marketing without delay or complication. Very happy. Thank you.

When you leave, they check every single mark from carpet and deducted ! It's crazy! You can expect after tents the carpet to be the same, even if you professionally clean it ! It will look used !!!

We recently just rented out are first property with Sw19. From the onset Andy Fisher has been absolutely awesome. Andy was professional, efficient, friendly and straightforward. He booked us in late evening and showed us two properties. We loved the second. He was organised and efficient with calls, emails, texts and got our offer accepted in a day!! Within two weeks we were moved in. Henry was efficient with moving date emails, contracts and keys. The moving in day was great and Debbie even checked in on us, which was very kind.So far we are impressed with this agency and would highly recommend. They do not mess you around and are straightforward. Can be a rare quality to find with agents.

Andrew Purnell have been managing agents for my leasehold flat for the last couple of years. Whilst inherently this type of service isn't the cheapest, costs are transparent and competitive for the job at hand. The team are responsive and have been invaluable when it comes to facilitating repairs and improvements to the property, always acting in the best interest of myself and the other landlords.

I highly recommend Andrew Purnell. I have had many dealings with them over the years through both lettings and sales. Avoid Ellisons own brand Essential Oils... they are not therapeutic grade. I sent off the Rose Centifolia and Tea Tree for analysis as I could smell they were not right. The Rose was in fact a dilution, but more concerning the Tea Tree had chemical compounds carcinogenic to skin- more consistent with a burning oil. NOT skin safe!! I volunteer in a hospice and sometimes treat children....I would never purchase oils from them again. Purple Flame supply Ellisons oils...i’d already been warned about the quality of their oils. Avoid at all costs!!!!
