I had used a couple of estate agents to try and sell my property before moving to D&G and they were the best by far and managing to sell my property! There were a couple of blockers faced during the sale process, however Tom and Georgia couldn't have been more helpful, always responsive and professional throughout to ensure that the sale went through. I would definitely use them again in the future.

5 star Agents! It started on a viewing with James who was different from other agents – he wasn’t pushy and didn’t try and sell me the property we viewed, even though it was clear I liked it and subsequently made an offer - James was disarmingly honest and knowledgeable and booked me in with Jake for an appraisal on my own house. Jake, the Wandsworth branch’s manager, was very impressive. Unlike the other big agents who also appraised my house, Jake was more interested in my situation and helping me achieve what I needed, than just getting me to sign his sales terms and sell as quick as possible! This I found refreshing and I chose to instruct Jake based on this and his obvious ability. Once I had instructed John D Wood to sell my house, the service I got was second to none! Whenever I called there was always someone charming on hand to speak to and although my situation was not at all straight-forward and I am sure I was quite a difficult client for them – I was always made to feel like the centre of the property universe. When it came to results John D Wood were very driven and did not let a tough market stop them from sourcing me a great buyer. Shae, another member of their sales team, was a complete star in sourcing my buyer who, to put it simply set a price per square foot record on my road! More importantly than this, Shae's buyer was perfect for my house and I know they will have many years of happiness there. Overall, if you are selling or buying in Wandsworth, Jake, Shae and James should be your first point of call.

Stuart at Savills was absolutely fantastic in helping me buy my first flat. I'd been searching for nearly a year, when Stuart showed me the flat I now own. He was so patient with my requests and criteria, and in the end was able to find the perfect place for me. He introduced me to solicitors and surveyors who helped me complete in less than 10 weeks, and was attentive and diligent along the way. We've been involved with Portico (Battersea branch) for the past 4 years with regards to lettings, and just very recently the sales team. Medleen who coordinated the tenancy of our property was always accessible, professional, helpful and most importantly sympathetic to the needs of both the tenant and us, the landlord. The team took control of every management aspect and made it as stress-free as possible for us. The fact that we had a long standing tenancy agreement for pretty much the whole duration of the property's rental lifespan speaks for itself. If you want hassle-free letting management then Portico will undoubtedly deliver. It was this relationship that we'd built over the years with Portico (Battersea) that made choosing a sales agent an easy decision. Jack whom coordinates the sales dealt with the recent sale of our property with absolute dedication. He is extremely personable, accessible, supportive, hardworking and will generally turn what can be a relatively grueling process into a somewhat enjoyable experience. Jack was always contactable, quick to solve a problem and provide reassurance, if needed. We felt as though we were in safe hands throughout. I could not fault the service provided and if we ever find ourselves in need of their services, once more, then we would not hesitate to make contact.

By far the worst estate agents I have ever dealt with in 8 years of living in London. When we moved in, the property was supposedly professionally cleaned, it wasn't. My flatmate literally cleaned food off the ceiling & blinds in the kitchen because it was that filthy. Whenever we had an issues with the flat, especially when first moving in, it took such a long time to get things sorted. The communication from the team is absolutely appalling. We lived in the flat for 6 months at which point both my flatmate and I left London due to lockdown to be with our families. We were emailed over 2 months before our lease was up to ask if we wanted to extend, we replied the next morning stating that we were moving at the end of the lease. Fast forward about a month and I was in the process of leasing a new flat and asked for a reference. At this point we received a rude email telling us that we hadn't replied to them about ending our lease and they were now being asked for references for my new flat. We replied and let them know that we had in fact replied over a month before, and attached the email. Things only went downhill from here. For the second 6 months of our lease we were not at the property for about 4 months. During this time the estate agents could have gone and taken pictures etc for when they wanted to put the property back on the market, but they didn't because they had completely ignored our email about not extending our lease. Due to them not reading our email by the time they got round to taking pictures of the flat we had packed up all of our things, which I made them aware of before they went to take pictures. We were asked when the things would be cleared from the flat as though we had left them there past the date of our lease! We were still paying full rent and asked for no reduction during lockdown, it was completely our right to have our things in the flat, packed up or not. They then posted the pictures online to lease the flat again. At this point I realized they had moved my personal property without my consent which is completely out of order. I had been back before the pictures were posted, but after they were taken, and didn't realize anything had been moved because they had even gone to the lengths of putting things back exactly as they were before including a blanket thrown onto the bed to look like it had never been moved! If they needed to move my things then they should have asked, I gave them permission to move things in the kitchen so why couldn't they ask about the rest of the property? Agents are not allowed to move/touch your personal property without your consent!! To make matters worse when they showed the property they left a light on for 4 days with curtains wide open!! We then received a call from our neighbour telling us that someone had called the police and ambulance as they were worried that something had happened due to the light being on consistently for 4 days! We received no apology from them and no compensation for wasting this electricity which we then had to pay for! Lastly it took us more than 6 weeks to actually get our deposit back. They tried to charge us for several different things which we had not done. Luckily we had taken pictures of the flat when we moved in so were able to get the charges reduced. We ended up paying for some holes made in the bathroom which we did not do!! We actually didn't mind paying at the end as we would've paid to be rid of them anyway!!

I have Had this flat for 15 years and bought it through Patrick or Joel and then let it through Rampton Basely and now have sold it through them. They have been enormously helpful over the years and I think given good advice along the way. Liz Nascimento the sales agent went above and beyond to make a very complicated sale go through. 3 different parties and all in the middle of Corona lock down. Well done Liz and thank you very much. We were really impressed with Austin from the start. He was the only person we met who we felt really understood our house and how best to sell it at a realistic but ambitious price (given the area and its condition). He was also really on top of the overall market conditions BTC, given we were in Lockdown 3 and had missed the original March stamp duty holiday, with a house at the top end price bracket of our street/the area. Factors we all thought might make it difficult / stressful. But after one meeting with Austin and a few calls, we felt like we’d be in very safe hands. And we were. The whole team was brilliant and prompt; the marketing of the property was first class and turned around very quickly so we could get onto the market (we’d found our dream home so keen to secure that too!). After only 3 days of viewings, we had multiple bids which Austin and Daphne negotiated well for us and Austin again advised us on selecting the best buyer, as there are more factors to consider than just price offered. Experienced and integrity are two words I’d use to describe Austin and his company. All in all, 100 times more straight forward than we ever thought it would be and changed my views on estate agents!

Austin and his team were extremely professional. They know their market exceptionally well and are able to pitch a price right, so it is a fair deal for both Buyers and Sellers. Be wary about using some estate agents who are too greedy - your house will hang around and then may need to be reduced by more than if it was pitched right in the first place.

This real estate agent was fine, until it came time to leave the property. Extremely disrespectful staff, especially when it came to viewings. I had a women named Charlotte who thought it would be okay to just come over with a potential tenant without telling me, and for some reason can't understand that working from home means I cannot have people inside the flat whilst I'm in meetings, how hard is that to understand? Then she would moan that she couldn't have access to the flat 24/7, I was happy to take viewings at any other time. Then the claims of the security deposit, they wanted to take out over 200 pounds to change light bulbs and change a small toilet flush that was already broken when I moved in. Don't bother with them, judging by all the recent reviews here there quality has gone down hill recently.

I had a really good experience of marsh and parsons, particularly Seren, when in the process of buying a property. I didn’t buy from them in the end but next time I sell I will certainly use this agency. Seren was knowledgeable during viewings, manages to maintain contact and follow up without being annoying, listens and balances professional and friendly perfectly. Would recommend.
