Listed and Rented out in less than 6 hours! Well done Mashroom. Excellent service provided by Mashroom, good clear dashboard for managing appointments and subsequent offers!! I would never use a High Street Estate Agency to market for me again. I look forward to using Mashroom in the future.

Amazing customer service, couldn’t believe it was free! Debbie was amazing every step of the way making a very daunting process much less stressful. Would recommend to anyone over an estate agent and still astonished I’ve not had to pay any fees for all of her help!

User-friendly, great future-proof platform. Easy to use and upload properties. The dashboard allows straight forward communication with guests. Really helpful members of the team who were always available to answer questions re: using Mashroom.

A unique and time saving innovation. Thank you Mashroom. Refreshing and user friendly. So much easier than the traditional process. Being able to speak to the landlords direct and building a relationship of trust early on I found to be hugely beneficial. At last, a unique and time saving innovation.

Mashroom was recommended to me and I’d gladly recommend them to anyone. From the first interaction with Mashroom I knew I'd chosen the right people to help me let my flat. Within one week of advertising it, I had two offers, even one offering more than I was asking for. I never thought an end-to-end process of 15 days would be possible...

After 9 months of searching for a property we finally found a new flat listed on Rightmove through Madley Property. I contacted Carmen and she was very quick to respond to all of our questions. Pleasantly surprised at how quick the referencing process was completed, Carmen touched base with us every step of the way which really made the whole process stress free. Could not recommend more, thank you Carmen!

Looking for our new flat has been successful partly thanks to Madley. In particular Natalie has helped us during the search and offer process. She has answered all our questions in a timely manner and seek owner view to some of our concerns. I would recommend working with her!

My experience with Madley has been far superior than other estate agents I’ve used in the past. In particular the service I’ve received from Natalie has been fantastic; she made what typically tends to be a stressful process exciting and easy. Natalie has been extremely responsive and has set my mind at ease by answering all of my (many) questions with detail. I would highly recommend!

I would thoroughly recommend Natalie Ewans who provided a first rate service. She was extremely patient and attentive, and persisted until we found the perfect property. Her communication was top rate, and she replied in a timely and open fashion. Natalie was extremely friendly, and made the renting process a breeze Thanks again for your help and support Alex

I instructed Alex Neil on the sale of my property in Eglinton Hill, SE18 in November 2020 having been impressed by the initial meeting with the valuation agent. Unfortunately, the service did not live up to expectations in a number of areas: - The agents take the photographs themselves, rather than using professional photographers. The visual representation of our property was poor and I asked for the photos to be re-taken. - Our property details were put online without them having been sent to us for checking / approval. - Communication from the agents during the sales process was poor - both in frequency and quality. There was no sense of being a valued customer who is paying ££££ for a service. - Whilst Alex Neil did achieve "SSTC" status on our property twice, on both occasions the sale fell through, in my opinion, because the situation was poorly managed and communicated by the "sales completion" department. On both occasions, we were told that the sale had fallen through via a template email - another example of not being made to feel like a valued customer who is spending ££££ on the service. When we telephoned to find out more information about what had happened, the sales completion agent had quite a rant about how busy she was and the long hours she and her team were working with the essence of the conversation being that we were being a nuisance in calling her. - After the second sale failing to proceed we asked for the contact details of a senior manager in order to provide feedback and were told we would be contacted. However, 2 weeks have now passed and no one has been in touch, hence the reason for providing feedback via this channel. As context, we are, in parallel, selling another property in a different part of the country via another estate agent. The experiences could not be more chalk and cheese in terms of the quality of service, how valued we feel as a customer and the frequency and quality of communication on a property which will yield a much lower value of commission for the agent.

Outstanding, professional, efficient and extremely hard-working team here. Many thanks especially to Sara & Tommaso. The process of selling can be very stressful and they were very kind and great at communicating each step. Thank you so much to Sara And Tom and the Alex Neil team!!

We were on the market for the sale of our flat with another agent for 8 months without success (with a pause in between due to the first national lockdown). But then we moved to Alex Neil and they found us a buyer in four days. Sara in particular was fantastic – responsive, understanding and efficient. Michelle was also very helpful in chasing the conveyancer and getting the sale through. Not many people can say they managed to sell a flat in a global pandemic but Alex Neil made it happen for us. Thanks for the hard work!

I’m loving my house all thanks to Alex Neil Estate Agent and Morel!! Morel’s swift assistance during this unprecedented time was so great, I’ll definitely recommend 😁

Terrible experience throughout tenancy and then scammed us out of our deposit at the end. AVOID AT ALL COSTS We've rented about 6 different flats in London in the past 8 years and I've never experienced an estate agent this bad or this willing to try and pin something unrelated to us, on us - just so we would have to pay for it! We rented a place through them for a year and throughout the tenancy we had problems with the flat (which of course happens with old flats in London so fair) but everything took so long to sort and by the end of the tenancy major issues like mould and damp were still not sorted despite being raised 6 months earlier - so we had to move out. We'd had workmen come into the flat to inspect the cause of the mould/damp and it was due to the faulty windows so these needed servicing/replacing. I continued to chase Oliver Jacques every couple of weeks on an update on when this will be fixed and was either ignored or told 'we are still in discussions with the landlady'. Thank god I did chase them so frequently (and in writing on email) because later they tried to pin the mould/damp and problems it was causing in the flat on us and charge us for it! They did however manage to pin issues on us that weren't anything to do with us - for example cracks in the ceiling (building subsidence) caused the light fittings to come loose and hang down, despite this being nothing we could have impacted, we were charged. Another example - cigarette burns that had been on the flat carpets when we moved in were also pinned on us and we were charged for this - despite having evidence they were there when we moved in! It just got to the stage where they were ignoring my protests and evidence against their claims and I wasn't in a situation where I could wait any longer for the deposit so I had to stop fighting them for it and it resulted in half of the deposit being taken away for ridiculous charges. Disgusting and open scamming to be quite honest. I'd heard about it happening for some tenants in London and thought it was a rare thing or happened with dodgy private landlords - not high street estate agents.

My experience with Oliver Jaques was absolutely amazing! Michael Petherbridge in particular was extremely helpful and friendly. He did a fantastic job of keeping the sale moving and making sure I was well informed about what was happening throughout the process. He was extremely professional and did everything he could to keep everything on track and moving in the right direction. Could not have asked for a better experience from an estate agents than what Michael delivered. Thanks so much to Michael and the entire Oliver Jaques team for all their help, it was very much appreciated!

I bought my flat through Oliver Jaques. It was a great experience! Really hands on, straight forward, always happy to update me and get involved when necessary.I never felt a burden when I wanted to do multiple viewings or ask a lot of questions and they made it all feel very easy!

A letting agent how lettings agents *should* be. Steve was honest, straightforward, friendly, and communicated clearly (never in 'agent speak') throughout the letting of our flat. Emails were answered within hours, questions openly answered - at no point did I feel like it was in any way a burden to support us through the process... and they found us tenants within days of marketing. What's not to love? Thank you Steve, and Georgina, and whoever else was working behind the scenes to do such a lovely job :)

Steve and team helped with a seamless transfer between agencies and have continued to deliver a great service, finding a new tenant quickly and managing the process efficiently. Steve is easy to get hold of and always responds quickly. Heaps of comfort knowing the OJ team are now looking after the property and the tenants.

I recently let a property with Hunters and James and Sab have been such a delight helping me move out for the first time. James was so responsive even out of hours, he answered all my queries and made me feel like he went above and beyond to find my first ever place to rent. I thank you both so much and wish you nothing but success and prosperity with your estate agent

James at Hunter’s is a true angel. Hands down the best service of any description I’ve ever received from a single person. He literally saved our tenancy! With a tyrant landlord that has now left the agency, he turned problems into solutions and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and secure. I can never say thank you enough! If you get the chance to rent with hunters, go to Surrey quays and ask for James! :)

Mr. James served me from Hunter Surrey Quays. He is very professional and responsive and responsible person. He communicated me when ever I needed. Tried and solved all the issues and queries I had during my last purchase from Hunter. Even he kept in touch after complication. And, as there were some ignorable issues after completion, yet he resolved them in very professional manner. I recommend to everyone of my friends and family to Mr James at Hunter Surrey Quay. Looking forward to get his similar services for my next purchase.

I've never seen an agency worse than this one... I am actually already in a flat but I have still not signed the contract, because it's always closed (even during the normal opening time) and they never answer to the emails/calls... Really not professional.

I let my flat with Burwoodmarsh it was smooth and Moses was very genuine and helpful. Always on the other line to help me or my tenant. My feedback would be to make the pictures for advertising more professional - besides that everything was good -

Even if sometimes Moses took some time to reply to our needs, we think this is mainly due to his workload rather than having bad intentions. And most important, at the end of our tenancy the agency gave back our deposit within two days. So in general we had a good experience.

Alejandro Bosch, 05 Dec 2018

I am very surprised by the comments, for I have used them for over 10 years and I have never had a problem. Even this month I let a property through them and the service was very good. The staff I always find very helpful. Even when it came to arranging my EPC for the property, this was sorted for me with no stress. All I can say is that there is two sides to every story and I have tried and lot of agents in the area and also go back to the one I consider to be the best. Everyone should judge for them selves. My flats are always rented in no time.

Illegally installed a marketing “sold” board on our property. Contacted them and they advised it was a mistake and would be removed immediately. They of course did nothing and I followed up and was told it was a mistake by their contractor and would be removed within 48 hours. Still no action. Have reported them to tower hamlets council for flyposting. Hope tower hamlets prosecute them...charlatan operator.

Worst agents ever. They will make everything they can when you have to sign or pay, but expect nothing in return. We moved out more than 3 months ago, they are still holding our £2700 deposit. Better, they blocked our phone numbers and completely ignore us. If you want to avoid court, go to another agency

Horrible experience. Would not recommend this agency to anyone else. So unprofessional that it is even hard to believe that it can happen to anyone. From the beginning the agents were disappearing and not replaying to your emails / calls /messages. We were in contact with two agents and we don't know which one is worse Domonic or Jagbir! From moving in till moving out you need to chase them if you want the things get done. So much energy wasted for no reason. Honestly, if you value your wellness avoid this agency. And the best thing that they will turn up to your apartment whenever they feel like. They will open and close Radom windows and doors - they don't care you have pets in the house!!!! They do whatever they want. Just simply avoid there is plenty go agencies around.

Still waiting for them to call me back. I keep calling and they never answer the phone. Still waiting for the paper work to be posted to me. Can’t believe these people are still in business. A pathetic excuse for a business. My 5 year old would do a better job.

Istanbul, 07 Aug 2020

I have never had a problem with agents until I came across London and country. This is perfectly exemplified by the fact that when we disputed our deposit claim the “deposit protection scheme” awarded me £1000 of my deposit back. I was also very confused by the fact that London and Country wanted to charge us for gas bills for when we weren’t even in the property. British Gas and I agreed and yet the agents continued to request further money from us. Extremely greedy agents with poor communication skills so I was very upset with my experience with them.

Oliver, 29 Jun 2019

I never had a problem with a landlord, but this time I have been extremely disappointed. When we ended our tenancy, they asked us an absurdly high amount that was 2x higher than our deposit for a cleaning fee of £700 (claiming that this is the average cost of an end of tenancy cleaning, which is absolutely not), a crazy cost for repainting (which there was no need to and they did it without any prior notice), and claiming random missing objects. Furthermore, they changed the cost of these items they claim multiple times, proving that they just want to get as much money as possible from our deposit. STAY AWAY!

Edoardo Romussi, 25 Oct 2018

Terrible service. Avoid at all costs. Julie was very rude and they overcharged us for a cleaning fee. The ony helpful person that works there is Mobeen, a nice man. He kindly told me to just ignore Julie when she's in a bad mood. This really helped! Without Mobeen it would be a 1 star.

My wife and I have been using London & Country Limited for the last two years renting in London, and we are beyond thrilled with their service and assistance. From the first day that we looked at properties (which anyone looking in London knows can be full of pitfalls) to today, we have only been provided with excellent service and an eagerness to help whenever we had any queries or any problems with the property. They are prompt in their response to any queries we have and if any problems do arise, Julie Ling is especially very helpful in getting anything sorted. We love the property we are currently renting and the communication via London & Country to the landlord has always been quick and informative. We would recommend London & Country to any of our family or friends.
