A unique and time saving innovation. Thank you Mashroom. Refreshing and user friendly. So much easier than the traditional process. After our offer was accepted it took us ages to sign the contract and when the first version of the contract was sent to us the tenancy period was wrong. During almost one month we have been asking for the contract so that we could read it and sign it, but we only manage to get it 5 days before the move. The process of deducting money from our account to remove the property from the market was quite fast, we even paid without having read or signed the contract don't think this would be the normal procedure. We moved 10 days ago. When we came in the house it was filthy, carpets were not clean, kitchen ceiling was yellow from fat, furniture was left by the previous tenant, etc... We sent emails reporting these issues and after ten days waiting. No reply... Up until now we didn't receive the inventory of the house. So, I would say that they haven’t been very professional with us. It would be good if you could reduce your response time and at least provide dates on when we may expect to receive answers from the questions, we tenants raise. 1 year later: Update 1: I am trying to get released from a tenancy agreement, we already have the new person, but I asked to start the process and nothing happens. I call the branch and there is no one who can deal with lettings there! Completely unbelievable... Barnard Marcus Streatham worst branch ever... Update 2: Things started to move faster now.

Absolutely top marks to Bernardo Reggi at Bernard Marcus Estate Agents for being a complete star throughout all the processes with my property search. Very professional, friendly and so helpful. I can't rate him highly enough. Always been honest and clear with any type of negotiation/offer and super quick in any response to texts or calls. Bernardo Reggi was the most amazing guy to deal with when letting out my property!! Nothing was too much trouble, alway there at the end of the phone and sorted out everything I needed to when having to get electricity metre readings and gas sorted etc... A delight and found me a seriously lovely couple to stay in my flat. Thank you and I highly recommend anyone who is looking for a tenant go to Bernardo...

May I just start with saying my experience with 'Bernard Marcus Estate Agent' was the best so far and I would highly recommend, although I didn't find the perfect property the customer service I received was marvellous. The first call I made was picked up by Kemar I believe, who was amazing and helpful yet honest and straight forward. He booked a viewing in that day and offered another property to view which was a bonus. Met Bernardo at one of the properties who was so lovely it was honestly a dream to negotiate with. Both extremely professional, helpful and polite. Competent and efficient service.

I met Adam Seymour-Davies of Aspire in Furzedown when he showed me around a property which Aspire were marketing. I liked Adam's relaxed sales style and lack of 'hard sell', so when we were looking for an agent to market our flat, Adam and Aspire sprung immediately to mind. Whilst our buyers were fantastic and very patient, their solicitors made the whole process pretty painful with constant delays and dithering, however Adam was always on the end of the phone to push things forward and make sure that the transaction kept moving in the right direction. We finally completed on our sale and purchase in February 2021 and I honestly believe that if it had not been for Adam and his team, it may well never have happened. Adam has an enviable knowledge of the local market and being a Furzedown resident himself, knows that his local reputation in the community is paramount - he is really more of a property 'broker' than an 'estate agent'. I cannot recommend Adam, Chris and their team highly enough - if you choose them to market your property, they will truly look after you.
