We had a really good experience with Jonathan Mallet from Jacksons Balham. He gave very good advice and showed us a wide variety of properties within our specifications. We have been dealing with Isabelle at Jacksons for a few weeks and she has been great. She really takes into account what we are looking for whilst also being efficient with our time, showing us multiple properties together. Really great service.

It's been sometime now, so I am editing this review. Unfortunately I had to rent via Dexters Clapham High Street. The people I interacted with were Alysha, Sanjay, Gary and Leo. Some important points: - They lied about the state of the place that would be delivered to me before moving in. - They gave the keys to a 3rd person that visited the flat when all the tenants of the house were away and without notifying me, even when the contract states so. They only replied when I confronted them about finding stuff moved etc. and they had nothing to say. - They said the rent was left unpaid and when bank statements proved them wrong they stopped replying. - They didn't reply to emails for months, even when it's urgent. - At the end of the tenancy they didn't return my deposit and even lied by saying I left sooner than the contract's end. It was a joke and when I proved them wrong, they said they gave my deposit to someone else admitting it was their bad. When they were not returning the deposit, I followed legal advice and through TDS I easily claimed all the deposit back. As a tenant, I was disgusted by their overall behaviour. My only advice to future people renting via this office is DO NOT!

Dunica was super helpful and friendly. She showed us 5 properties and broke down the details of all of them really clearly. She had all the answers to our questions and helped us secure the flat we wanted, guiding us through the paperwork and offering her support. Would definitely recommend!

We had the best possible agency renting experience with our beloved Matt. He handled absolutely everything for us from price negotiation to the smallest details. He was incredibly responsive and was just great in general. A real asset to the team at Dexters. We love him so much we even suggested that he come along to a house-warming party when we are allowed to celebrate properly. Very good experience with Dexters so far. Danica has been extremely helpful both with finding our flat and assisting us with the paperwork. Very easy to get hold off and is in regular contact, Danica has made what we originally thought would be a complex situation relatively simple.

Following the end of our two year tenancy, Acorn consistently ignored emails from my former flatmates and I politely and patiently enquiring about the return of our deposit. They kept us in the dark about any proposed deductions until almost three months post-departure, prompted by us escalating the issue to management. They didn't provide us with quotes or invoices to support the list of proposed charges until after they submitted our case for formal dispute resolution (without our consent). Their lack of professionalism and their mismanagement of our case meant we were never given a fair opportunity to assess the charges and attempt to reach an amicable resolution with the landlords, which was always our intention. Despite pleasant interactions with Acorn throughout our tenancy, communicating with them post-departure has been exasperating due to their lack of transparency and the disrespect they've continually shown us. We're relieved we finally have our deposit back and never have to deal with them again, and would encourage anyone who cares about the fair treatment of tenants to avoid Acorn.

I have a leasehold property managed by Acorn and pay a not insignificant service charge for them to do so. On Tuesday night it flooded with sewage water due to a blockage in a shared pipe that Acorn is responsible for maintaining. Over 48 hours later my property still has sewage water in it. It's under the laminate floors, soaked through the carpets and is slowly spreading through more rooms in the property and causing more and more damage - including potentially to electrics now. Acorn have sought to protect themselves financially rather than focus on minimising damage to the property and making it safe every step of the way. Current status - the water is likely to sit there until a loss adjuster can visit the property next Tuesday unless I can convince the loss adjusters otherwise. They have handed over phones numbers and left it to me. Good job I don't pay them a small fortune for this service. I am disgusted. Andrew - many thanks for your response. I didn't say that you hadn't kept me informed (although I have done a LOT of chasing) and the last email I received from you made it clear I could contact the loss adjusters directly because there was no further update from Acorn. But the fact remains, my property has been full of sewage water for a week - and you are refusing to remove the water until the loss adjusters have been out, thereby leaving the property in an uninhabitable state. You absolutely have a choice to remove the water and have the loss adjuster out while the property is drying out and before anything is reinstated - but have chosen not to do so. I doubt very much this is the course of action you would take if your property was flooded.

I'm really happy with the service that Acorn have provided to me and my family. Our previous landlord was selling (which came as a bolt from the blue) but Acorn quickly arranged a viewing of a property that we'd seen online, but also suggested a similar property based on our needs - this second property was perfect and we'll be here for the foreseeable future as we rally like the property, Acorn have been great, so overall it has been a very positive experience. Elizabeth from the viewings team was very professional and responsive while we were house hunting, and since we signed up and moved in Laura from the property management team has been brilliant, and we feel like we are cared for as tenants. We've needed a few repairs and an appliance replaced and Laura has been very quick to act. I was concerned as renting in the private sector is a relatively new experience, and you do hear horror stories, but my experience with Acorn couldn't be further from that. Thank you Laura and Elizabeth.

We’ve been very lucky to have Luisa helping us manage our property over the past few years. She cares about what’s she’s doing, and is keen to get make the management of our property as easy as possible. We’ve had a couple of tricky situations which Luisa has helped us managed very well.

Emma's were friendly, responsive and extremely helpful throughout the entire tenancy process. From the viewing, to signing the agreement, to maintenance throughout the tenancy and then all the way to checking out and returning the deposit, they made the process easy and a pleasure to deal with. By far the best agency I have used during my time renting in London. Highly recommended.

I cannot recommend Emma & her team enough. We sold our flat through them & despite all the stresses that come with buying/selling, as well as the added worry of the pandemic, they were professional, reassuring, friendly & extremely responsive. We were very well looked after throughout, receiving constant updates & never going long without a reply to our questions. I rented a property from a private landlord which was managed by Emma's Estate agents. Unfortunately, it quickly became apparent that the rental was not in good condition and mould appeared quite quickly and extensively. Emma's estate agents worked tirelessly to try to resolve the issues with my landlord, which eventually resulted in my landlord agreeing for me to exit the property before the break clause and also compensation in the form of rent reduction. Emma's also ensured I received my deposit back in full. They were always there to help during a really stressful period and provided a really person and tenant centred service. It was refreshing and I can't recommend them enough!

I'd highly recommend them as agency. The flat wasn't clean properly when I first move, so I contacted them and in a couple of days they fixed it. They respond very quick via email or phone call. They're very keen on helping, no issues was left unresolved. Everything was sorted out quickly. They're also very responsible and reasonable. They looked after the landlord's interests and mine at all times. Best agency I rented with!

Used Marlowe Estates to facilitate a let. When asked about features of the property which would have sway on if we make an offer or not such as is it double glazed, will it be professionally cleaned, will it be fully furnished etc the outright lied/didn't care/just wanted a sale under their belt. If you want a smooth letting experience I would look elsewhere.

I was passing through the road when I saw the board for Marlowe estates! As I had a very bad experience with other agents but still I thought will give a try, called them spoken to lovely gentlemen named Collin. I must say very polite, helpful and guided me to get what I wanted ! Never expected I would have a such a lovely home from such a helpful people! I was advised by HQ that an agent would meet me today at the property this did not happen the agent was not there! It is impossible to contact the local branch directly they don't respond to messages. Don't list your property with this branch if you want it to be sold as they treat buyers like dirt.

Absolutely horrific and dishonest selling of properties and lack of support with Lets of property management. You are constantly having to chase up calls back and forth to head office then end up having to deal with tenants directly. Better property management companies elsewhere. I hope you read your feedback and make room for improvement. I gave '2' as some members of staff improved communication towards the end of business.

Mo at Malixons was so so helpful from the get go when it came to us looking for a tenancy. Not only did he travel out of his way multiple times, as the property was not local to his agency, he helped us get as many follow up visits to the property as we wanted to make sure it was right for us. Even on a Sunday afternoon and a Friday evening! Mo went out of his way to make sure we were happy, and overall has been very clear in regards to how the process works and what was expected of us signing on to the property. Celia and I would recommend Michelle to let your property without any hesitation. In the summer of 2020 Michelle was able to find tenants for our three bedroom house in Clapham North who have been ideal. Also, in April 2021 she found tenants for our four bedroom house on the Blenheim Gardens estate who have just moved in and seem perfect. In both cases Michelle was in competition with a high street estate agent who are very good, but in both instances Michelle pipped them to the post. Michelle is very dedicated, easy to work with and it's a pleasure doing business with her. We'll be asking her to let our other properties in the future.

I highly recommend FlatIron Properties! Michelle is friendly and professional and she went above and beyond helping me rent out my 3 bed flat in Clapham during this Summer and Covid. The market was really quiet and Michelle made sure she was trying every option including roomshare sites, social media, along with the traditional methods she normally uses as well as her network of prospective tenants and contacts. It took 2 months but Michelle found me the perfect tenants and I'm glad I stayed with FlatIron properties. Not only are Michelle's rates much lower than the big property companies you also get really personal care and attention from her that you just won't get from big organisations. I by chance got a phone call from Michelle when marketing my property with another agent. Bernard Marcus in Tooting let me down twice. In the end I went with Michelle and she found me the perfect tenant for the fee I wanted. The tenant has been in now for a few months and all is well. She was very responsive, courteous and professional. I would highly recommend her.
