I initially subscribed to two of the smaller estate agents in St. John's Wood expecting a personalised service. I guess I assumed that Foxtons would be commercialised and impersonal due to its size. I decided to try Foxtons out only because I had seen a property they had advertised after much frustration with the smaller estate agents who seemed to consistently steer me into 'liking what they had' as opposed to 'finding what I want'. I was assigned to Aline. She listened, she reasoned with me and she didn't seem to sugarcoat the properties we viewed. After several viewings, I made my well-informed choice. I mostly got what I wanted based on the art of the possible. This is how I think it should be. Thank you Aline (and Foxtons).

The 5 star ratings for this agency makes me wonder about the legitimacy of these reviews. We have recently had the most horrible experience with a realtor who is working in the SJW Office. It cost us a beautiful home for our family and a ton of upset because of the sheer laziness and apathetic responses to the most minor requests. She was interested in nothing more than closing the deal as quickly as possible with the highest commission(At OUR expense)! Worst possible experience we’ve ever had. I do not trust this agency. Never again.

I recently bought a 2 bedroom flat in Hamilton Terrace. Benji Weinberger at Knight Frank managed the sale. I found him and his colleagues extremely helpful and professional. Benji went beyond the call of duty to assist with the sale and it was a pleasure dealing with him. His boss, James Simpson, was also very helpful and the team made the whole process very painless.... I would recommend selling or buying a property with Benji without hesitation - they're a great team and give estate agents a good name!

Highly recommend to avoid this agency. They are unprofessional, disorganized and amateurish. Right from the start of tenancy to the end, following are the things they could not get done smoothly: 1. contract signed in time 2. release of keys for move in 3. disclosing material information regarding the property such as imminent construction project on the floor above the apartment 4. Managing checkout process (inventory clerk entered the property by lying to the end-of-tenancy cleaners without our authorization or providing us notice) 5. Return of deposit (still hoping for them to reply to our emails regarding return of our £4k plus deposit). Landlords- please go to an agency that can actually manage tenancy and has a head on their shoulders. Tenants- highly recommend to just avoid engaging with them, otherwise you will be inviting a lot of headache and stress.

A great estate agent! I dealt with Dean when house hunting. He always kept in touch with updates and information even after working hours. He was not pushy and he really listened to what we wanted so he full of useful suggestions! His knowledge of the St John's Wood area was excellent! Anscombe and Ringland is one of the most able and efficient estate agents I have dealt with. My sale was managed by Jack Hamilton in a friendly and professional manner. He was speedy in response to queries and provided clear well-informed answers. He persevered in following the sale stage by stage, and was thoughtful and perceptive in resolving issues. When advice was needed, he considered the matter judiciously, looking at it from different perspectives, keeping always to best practice. He also provided regular updates of progress. The sale was thus completed well within the time I had expected, and I am very grateful to him.

I recently bought two apartments for investment purposes through Pierce at Behr and Butchoff. Both purchases proceeded smoothly, and throughout he was efficient, easily contactable and above all honest. He didn’t exaggerate and he didn’t try to hard sell. I will shortly be looking to buy a third property, and Pierce will be my first point of call.

I viewed dozens of properties with other estate agents, and I found the estage agent from B&B in charge of my search (she was called Nina) the best I've ever come across. I found her style and approach very professional. I liked that she let me view the property on my own to start with, leaving me to absorb the space without being pestered which often happens with other agents. She never put pressure on me while still showing enthusiasm. The balance was just right. She was also genuinely friendly. What a refreshing change from other agents during what is often a stressful time for property searchers.

Nina found me a highly desirable apartment that had not yet even been advertised—needless to say I was thrilled and am moving into my new home this December. I would very much like to share my feedback about this agency. Before I started renting an apartment with this agency, I decided to read the reviews. They were bad and they're still not very good. It made me dissonant! My first acquaintance was with Caroline Choi. I immediately liked that she did not try to present me with a better apartment than it really is. She was honest and talked about the pros. This is not the first experience of renting an apartment through an agency and I am very tired of lying smiles! I was described in detail about all the bills and calculated the deposit. When we were examining the apartment, it turned out that the shower holder was broken. When I moved into the apartment, it was fixed. Also, everything that I didn't need was removed from the apartment. Caroline always answered my letters, helped me professionally! A month after the start of the contract, I found that the heating and hot water were gone. It was 10 o'clock in the evening, and I decided that I would call the agency the next morning. At 9:00 am, I dialed the number and was immediately answered by Carmen. She was very responsive, immediately agreed with the master, gave me his number, and wrote an accompanying email confirming his visit. On the same day, the heating was fixed, and the master came to the apartment to make sure that everything was in order! I also recently received a letter from Helen saying that I need to grant access to the apartment at the request of the landlord. I didn't see the email, and Helen called me to make sure everything was really all right. I think this is a great agency and a great service! People, do not think that everyone around you owes everything! You rent apartments, but they are not your property. You can't do whatever you want here. Good day, this is Caroline Choi responding to BAD tenants who left properties in extremely untidy unclean condition, tenants who vacated without prior notice (using CV19 as an excuse for not paying rent). Landlords expect agents to assist with their rightful claims. Tenants postings are rather one sided and such tenants should be ashamed of their manners and inflammatory words. KEEP WELL/STAY SAFE !!
