We put our house on the market with Gabriella and the Croydon Sales team last year and we were not disappointed. After a few viewings Gabriella got us a couple of offers to consider and we went under offer to our buyer 3 weeks after putting our property on the market. Nicola then took over as our sales progressor and we were very happy to complete 14 weeks later, which considering we were in a chain was really fast! We cannot thank Gabriella, her team and Nicola enough for everything they did to keep the sale moving along. We instructed CHOICES to sell our property in a multi-agent capacity after we weren't happy with the progress we'd seen with another local estate agent. I was extremely impressed at just how hard they worked to sell the property, they were able to get as many viewings on the property in two weekends as our other estate agent was over the course of 4 months. They were very responsive to my calls and emails, and the staff there were polite, professional and honest. I honestly believe that if we instructed them initially, we'd have sold the house far sooner than we did. Should I need to sell in the area in the future, CHOICES would be my first port of call.

If I could give a minus 5 stars then I would. Martin and Co has owed me money since February and I am still waiting. I have to constantly email and call just to be told they will follow up and nothing happens. Would not recommend using them, once you are a tenant and they get their money they don't care.

I rented a beautiful 1 bedroom house with help from Martin and Co. The process was very smooth, professional and clear from the very beginning and property was even better than initially thought. Rugile was very kind and helpful and support me with all my inquiries during the time. As soon as l questioned about the property she almost instantly replied to me and arranged a viewing. Not forgetting Mrs Freya Cattermole, she was beyond any expectations, always there to help, very responsive to all my emails. I could not recommend any better this letting agency. They have great range of good properties, for all budgets and needs and the staff is more than you could ask for.

I rented through Folklands and the entire process was seamless. I couldn’t fault them. My viewing was with the director, Richard and he wasn’t a typical pushy agent but was well-informed and a pleasure. Very calming nature. The application process was progressed by Richard and Marco, who was also a delight. Very responsive and attentive throughout. I am a property manager and quite pedantic, so I really wasn’t looking forward to the process, but they genuinely made it as easy as possible. Would recommend Folklands without a doubt :)

Overall positive but stressful. The stress was not from the estate agent but from my solicitor and the fact that the buyer does not speak good English. I don't think I can be an estate agent. Definitely need a patience of a saint. I can be quite difficult and inpatient at times but Richard treated me with patience, politeness and professionalism (from start until completion). I don't know how he can do it!

We will always remember and be grateful the heroic efforts of Paul and the whole team at John Dallas who helped us buy our first home as a married couple. Buying a house is always tricky, but if like me you lose a job and start another within 1 month and in the middle of all that you also get married and have to sell a flat to buy your new house with your wife, John Dallas makes it a smooth process. Due to the pandemic we had to pull out of the first house we were going for with John Dallas back in January, but as soon as the time came for us to look again lo and behold the new best house we wanted was being sold by John Dallas! There are no coincidences in my book. Even with all the restrictions in place, Paul so often carried us through the process and got all the team involved when needed. On the selling side we had a long chain, and time and time again Paul kept the vendor happy and calm while we worked through the process, I'm sure if it wasn't for Paul the vendor would not have waited for us the long time she waited. I have to give credit and thanks where it's due, can't forget John, Lucy and Franco thank you all. I can't speak from a sellers perspective, but from a buyers perspective I can honestly say John Dallas went the extra mile and always did it with a smile. Around here we often see various streets with 2 or 3 houses on the same street all for sale/rent by John Dallas, and it gives us a warm feeling.

I used John Dallas to sell my home and cannot speak highly enough of the experience I had. I primarily dealt with Paul and Franco, who were incredibly professional, friendly and efficient. They gave constructive feedback from viewings, and found a buyer very quickly. Their communication throughout the sales process was excellent and as a result everything ran smoothly. I would highly recommend John Dallas if you are thinking of selling your home.

We have both bought and sold through John Dallas and can highly recommend. From a buyers perspective I can only say that there is a reason we didn't consider anyone else when it came time to sell our house. From a sellers perspective Franco and John had 6 viewings, 2 offers and a sale agreed within 6 days of us putting it on the market. The majority of the viewings being the result of local knowledge. They were open and honest about the price we could likely achieve and did not make us any false promises. With the photos being done by John himself it meant we had listed within a day of deciding to go for it. His photographs are of a high standard and is happy to take photos of different angles we wanted. Communication with Franco was prompt and of a high standard and we have zero complaints. He was always happy to answer questions and during a renegotiation he kept things moving and kept us informed, meaning nothing got delayed. John, by being proactive, identified an issue further up the chain which would have significantly impacted our completion, something the buyers of that house were unaware. Through this we were able to resolve the issue and agree a completion date that worked for everyone. Overall, we would happily buy from and sell through John Dallas again and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to sell.

This company does not refund your refundable deposit and charge you £230 in fees when doing a reference check. I suspect they did not even do a credit check and just bank every applicants deposit knowing full well there is no properties for rent .I suspect this is a scam and I will be reporting them today for theft of my withholding deposit to Caterham Police, their bank Santander ,my local MP, Croydon council and to all the housing and rental associations. I would advise you all to have caution when dealing with this company.

Together with my girlfriend I rented a flat literally around the corner from the agency. Throughout the whole 1 year tenancy we kept asking where were the water meters as we wanted to pay a bill, not estimate. The answers were: "it's in the building, you'll find it", "it's under the stairs", "it's outside" and finally when we called Adam and Glen on that - "we don't know, who told you that?". There was an issue with bathroom vent - it stopped working. We messaged the agency, to which there was no reaction. Around 4 months later, when getting some other stuff done in the agency, we called Glen out on this, he said he would send someone to fix it. ANOTHER MONTH later he messaged and offered to send a repair man, but it was during the March-April Coronavirus peak, so we didn't want anyone to come in from the outside. Overall impression is that this agency only wants a customer's money and quickly push them outside, as they can't be bothered. Make no mistake - they are there only for their own business and to please the landlords they work with, the customer is the least important part, and it's obvious by how the agency approaches them. EDIT (answer to agency's reply): I've posted the review much earlier, yet it was taken down, so I repeat. I'm pretty busy, so didn't do it immediately. I'm not sure what you mean by saying "somewhat questionable film set". We are both professional filmmakers and we kindly asked for permission to use the flat as a film set, we asked you to contact the landlord, offered money, to which we were waiting around 2 weeks for a reply. When we visited you in the agency, because we were frustrated with your lack of contact, you refused to contact the landlord, saying they don't gain anything on our shoot, and you don't want to ruin your relationship with them, so you say "no" (actually listening to your answer I've had serious doubts if the landlord knew that we actually wanted to pay). We had to find another location for the shoot, which because of agency's delayed replies, was more expensive due to short notice. You were not refused entry after that - the timing is coincidence. We refused the vent engineer to come in because of Coronavirus outbreak, that happened during that time, we self-isolated ourselves; however on your side is not reacting for 4 months since we'd sent you a message that the vent was broken. When we visited the agency to talk about the shoot permit, we called you out on the vent and then after another month you offered to send somebody. How can this kind of stuff be not fixed within 1 working day from getting a maitenance request from a tenant?! Finally - yes, you were refused entry for viewing of the flat. We did not feel comfortable with people looking around when we carry on living, also anyone from the outside could bring Covid, which we did not want to risk.

We put a £200 holding deposit on a flat we intended to move into. Unfortunately, upon visiting the flat again before signing the tenancy agreement and paying the full deposit.We discovered an issue with a few mice that Johnson Hewitt were not aware of, as they had not been informed by the current tenant. We expressed our concern to Adam, who understood and appreciated the fact we no longer wanted to move in to this property. He then promptly returned the holding deposit in full. The resolution was fair. Thanks to Adam for following up and resolving.

Very unprofessional, failed on every level, and complicit in hiding the fact buyer did not have a mortgage in place prior to viewing, offer, acceptance. Only coming to light when pressed regarding excessive delay. Lots of talk little action. Avoid
