We have just sold our house through Humphrey and Brand and we were very pleased with their service. We mostly dealt with Craig, who was extremely friendly, professional and very tenacious on our behalf. He certainly knows his market. We originally put the house on the market for £50k more than Craig recommended and didn't get any interest. When we dropped it to the price originally suggested by Craig we very quickly had two offers. Craig managed to get us £10k more than the guide price. We would thoroughly recommend using Humphrey and Brand.

I recently used Hawes & Co to sell my property in Surbiton. What initially started as a quick process turned into a surprisingly lengthy one due to issues out of our control further up the chain which resulted in considerable stress. Throughout I felt Hawes & Co were professional and, whilst they had the relationship with myself as the vendor, were also able to offer me objective advice. I found their fee structure competitive and transparent. The quality of the marketing and photos were absolutely excellent. Of particular note are Sarah Walker and Michael Gibson - both possess excellent local knowledge and Sarah particularly went above and beyond to ensure the sale went ahead. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

We recently sold our two bedroom maisonette with the help of Hawes and Co. Prior to listing we spoke with a number of local estate agents and from the outset were very impressed with our sales person Michael Gibson’s understanding of the local market and enthusiasm. Hawes and Co were competitively priced and through the process Michael was quick to respond to questions / liaise with our purchasers where required. On the odd occasion Michael was not around other members of the team (notably the Branch Manager Sarah) were fully up to date on the sale and quick to come back to us. Estate agents don’t always get the best rap ,but I would have no hesitation recommending Hawes and Co and Michael to anyone selling in the area.

Very positive experience so far! We’re in the middle of the deal and Max has been extremely helpful to accommodate all the requests and very professional from the beginning of the process. I have never come across such an unprofessional and unresponsive coimpany. We unfortunately decided to go with the company in getting help for having lease extended on flat. What a mistake! We haven't got to the bottom of getting it sorted - we have stopped receiving replies and phone calls are not answered. If I could give 0 for this review I would. Stay clear of them.

Very unprofessional, ignoran and unhelpful. Have contacted them on numerous occasions to open storage room downstairs in the building. Been told it will be look into it. After 3 month still looking into it. Parking supposed to be residents only. They issued parking permits after numerous complaints. But never enforced it. People from all over Surbiton park in our spots...

Awful company with a bad reputation throughout the local area. Water leaking from flat above, there's damage to our ceiling and they're constantly trying to say the water is coming from my flat - as if water drips upwards!!! Flabbergasted. I'm having to contact the buildings insurance myself to get the damage repaired, 10 months after first reporting it. Not sure why I pay service charges when there's no service.

Felt my concerns were listened to and quick and timely maintenance has lead to the lift being restored to full working order very quickly. Important for those whose only way out has been via this method rightly or wrongly.

Viewings, negotiation, referencing, contracting and preparation of the property were completed within 3 days allowing us to move in on our required date. Despite the haste of the operation, the level of service delivered by Avery Cole was simply exceptional. Indeed I have never received such excellent service from another letting agency over the past decade in which I have rented property in various areas across the UK. A fantastic agency, I rented from them for 1 year in 2019 and it was the easiest rental I have ever had. Checking in and out was well organised and any issues during the tenancy were addressed quickly and efficiently. I would rent with them again in a heartbeat :)

estate agent in chessington, there were two of them. lady and gentelman(if i can call him like this) lady was fine but gentelman, who came to show us house. he was horrible, he started shouting,was talking very rude. no manners at all. dont understand how companies can employ people like him. no wonder why so many bad reviews on this estate agency! never back again over there!

Come across as efficient and knowledgeable - before you sign up to sell with them. Then communication becomes very poor, and they don't seem to have their promised buyers waiting for houses. We eventually sold through them but they didn't even bother getting in touch on the day of completion! Constantly had to chase them for information and progress updates. They didn't listen to a number of things we said and requests we made. All in all it was a very expensive and frustrating experience. Cannot recommend.

This was possibly the worst estate agents I ever had to deal with. I was looking to buy my first property and booked in a viewing with Parry & Drewett. I loved the property and put in an offer straight away, however I never heard back from them. I kept calling and when I finally got through to the manager (Peter), he was absolutely useless. After weeks and weeks of chasing my offer, it turned out they had shown me the WRONG PROPERTY! Instead of holding their hands up and admitting they had in fact shown me a property on for let, they barely apologised and never replied to my complaint. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE

Very unprofessional. After offering to pay the deposit and the full asking price for a house to rent the estate agents completely ignored us for the next two weeks. We called them and even went into the branch to talk to the employees and were told that they are simply waiting for a reply from the house owner. Only to find out that they let the property to someone else when calling on the weekend to find out about the progress.Can not believe that they did not even pick up the phone to call and inform us that we were unsuccessful.
