We had been looking for a good 2 bed property with a garden and had a list of must-haves. Lolly Hamlin from Notting hill branch, took down our needs and helped us view a few properties which were very close to our requirements and budget. We finally settled for a place which was unfurnished and slightly over our budget but we are satisfied. Apart from being proactive she is also a good negotiator and could help both parties come to a settlement. I would say that she tries to go out of way and help her clients in everyway she can which is something we have really appreciated.

We dealt our transaction with Foxtons Notting Hill. Our agent Natalie Simpkin helped us to find a lovely flat in a great location. She is efficient, the viewings are always arranged in a short time. She showed us not only interiors of the properties but also the area, she knows her field well. When our offer was accepted, she continued to follow up and she took her time to discuss with us every during the reviewing. I dealt with three people at D&G, Amelia Maugham, Michelle and Harry. There were all professional, helpful, punctual and friendly. Amelia ran interference between the vendor and myself, and showed me the property on FaceTime. She even went to make some measurements for me to facilitate furniture shopping, was very thoughtful, and quite delightful to deal with. Harry showed up to show my parents the property in person before I had a chance to see it, and Michelle, the office manager was very instrumental in helping me find surveyors, foreign exchange guys and whatever else I needed (a printer!). They worked very well together and I felt supported and confident that I was making the right decisions, and I would use them all again in a heartbeat.

My experience with Strutt & Parker was absolutely positive, thanks to Charlotte. She has been literally amazing. I met a lot of estate agents, but she was differerent from all of them. She always goes the extra mile to make sure the client is comfortable and has all necessary information in every phase of the negotiation. A lot of estate agents say "yes" to a lot of questions even if they are not 100% sure that they are providing accurate information, just to convince the client to sign a contract, but if you are dealing with Charlotte be sure that she will be tell the truth and treat you with special care.

We have been renting out our property in Kensington for a number of years. We switched to Mountgrange from a larger company and we can honestly say that the service has been excellent. We have had a couple of points of contact over the last 2-3 years and they have all been very good. Charlotte is our current managing agent and she is fantastic. The team at Hamptons proved themselves to be professional and ethical when I was recently looking for a flat to rent. I sold my flat through Winkworth this year and they provided a really great service. I would highly recommend them. Imogen and Charles from the sales team were very patient and helpful at taking me through the whole process from appraisal to completion of sale. I felt their initial appraisal was very fair; despite the restrictions of Covid they managed to show the flat and get an offer within price expectations, and within a good time frame. They were excellent at keeping me up to date with progress and tried to make sure everything happened in the most timely fashion possible. I would happily use them again.

I just bought a flat through Charles and he was the most amazing agent I have ever worked with. He knows the market really well and was always willing to go the extra mile to help me. Nothing was too much trouble for him. Plus I really feel I got a great flat at a really reasonable price for the area. I am totally over the moon with my new place and if I ever come to sell, which I won't because I love it so much, I will definitely be using his services. I have rented a Notting Hill property managed by WW between2018 and 2020. WW has been extremely professional from the beginning, but it was during the pandemic that they excelled in their support. Me and my girlfriend were forced to self isolate for six months due to medical reason, and during the period we had several small issues in the flat due to the prolonged use of pretty much everything. Lydia and the rest of the WW team was impressively fast and kind and understanding in helping us sorting everything out, maintaining the highest safety and professional standards. I would recommend WW to anyone who wants to rent a property in the area, and I will definitely use them in the future. Good luck to the whole team.

I was expecting a lot more from Knight Frank! The owners of the company need to be aware that serious staff training in required in order to maintain their exclusive public profile. The sale went through without any problems. However, customer service leaves a lot to be desired. James who was dealing with my transaction Simply did not go the extra mile. In actual fact he showed up almost an hour late for an important appointment at the property with the architect and did not allow him to stay and complete his task. James was generally dismissive. But the most shocking encounter was when he asked my 25 year old daughter where my (Iranian) mother was from. Once the sale was completed, I asked for him to drop off the keys property that I just purchased. We were hoping for a “walk through”. He refused and told us to pick up the keys at one of Knight Frank’s offices. He was not even there to hand the keys over to us. These are just some of the examples of why I was surprised that he actually thought it was Ok to ask me to write him a review. I also run a business that deals with the public and customers. It is not fun when you are the recipient of a negative review. But, I truly hope that this particular review is used is used to improve customer care and to provide staff with training.

I wish I did not have to write this review for an agent that I have worked with for 11 years. I used to rent two properties through them. I had to first stop using them for my Bayswater flat because of them lying on the terms of the contract and attempting to blame the tenant for it. I decided to give them a second chance with my smaller Notting Hill flat (rented in May 2019). Even before moving in, the tenant installed a lock on the front door without my consent. My multiple calls/emails to M&P to address the issue were ignored. At the end, I was forced by the tenant to accept a key from the new lock even though I wanted the lock removed. M&P refused to insist on compliance with the terms of the contract. They failed to act as my agents but then my tenant is a powerful organisation that gives M&P multiple mandates... Then in July 2019, M&P failed to transfer the rent from my tenant. The usual statement from M&P arrived on time but the money was not in my account. I chased repeatedly, was referred by email to a number of employees but it took almost a month of chasing to get the rent from the agents. A similar situation occurred in August 2019. The problems were justified with the COVID disruption to staffing. Equally, M&P's fees did not reflect any such disruptions as they charged the standard 10% fee. In early May, for the first time in 12 months I tried to speak with the person responsible for overseeing my property to establish the terms of our ongoing collaboration. I could not speak with her because her direct line did not work. She refused to call me from any alternative device and I was told that the only way to talk to her was by email! When as a result of all the problems in the first year I asked M&P to consider reducing their fee of 10% going forward (I also offered to manage the rent payment myself), I was told that this was not possible. When I complained about their service, the same man who did nothing about the lock, rent and management of my flat told me that I don't pay them enough to get a better service. He advised I should be more flexible due to COVID. He ignored my point that I was happy to be flexible as long as they adjusted their commission to reflect their poor service. He told me they had plenty of other clients and if I wanted, I could take my business somewhere else. I told him I had taken part of my business to a competitor and he started badmouthing them. He told me that if I find these people that great, he will be happy for me to give notice straight away even though he warned I would be on the hook for another 6 months. That was the first time I heard of the new COVID regulations. I would have thought M&P should have kept us in the loop on that! While this is disappointing, I encourage all of you reading this and experiencing similar issues with M&P's Notting Hill office to give feedback so we as customers are not treated in such unreasonable way. The more transparency there is, the higher the chance M&P may pay attention and go back to their old ways of doing business.

During these challenging Covid times we've just completed the sale of a 3-bed apartment in Notting Hill. After a couple of unsuccessful attempts we switched to Savills. Emma Benwell took over the sale of our property when we had had nothing but issues with a previous agent. Not only did she sell it within a week, but she completely took the pressure off us by being a step ahead with everything and making sure the sale progressed. She was in constant contact with us, the buyers and the solicitors and was always available to offer advice and answer any questions. I can’t recommend Emma highly enough.

Charlie Crane was exceptional from start to finish during the sale of our property. He suggested a sensible marketing price, backed up by plenty of local comparable evidence, and within hours of the property being live had communicated what viewings were booked in and the profiles of the applicants. We received multiple offers and had to go to best and final offers before Charlie talked us through these thoroughly so we could make our own decision. Once the offer was accepted he kept us in close contact on the progress of the sale which went through seamlessly even though we were in the middle of a global pandemic and London's restrictions were tightening daily. We could not recommend Charlie more, great result from a personable, bubbly, brilliant agent; thank you Charlie!

Stephen Hannan of Draper & Co helped me to buy a property in the North Kensington area. I have searched for a property to buy for over two years, and have met many property agents in all forms, shapes and personalities. When I found the property to buy through Stephen, all I wanted was a smooth, transparent and quick transaction, right from the start when my offer is made – and Stephen gave me just that. Due to the pent up demand in the housing market in late 2020, there were huge delays from all sides - surveyors, solicitors, banks etc. I couldn’t have done it alone within my ideal timeframe – Stephen was very proactive and communicative throughout the process, he got things going and done! A highly stressful process has been made a lot easier, and I will never hesitate to get Stephen involved again when I move home in future.
