We viewed a lot of properties with several agents in the area and Theydons were by the far the best and easiest to deal with. Considering how stressful the process of buying a property is, Theydons definitely helped to reduce the stress by being communicative and professional throughout. We dealt mainly with Anthony for the property we bought, but we also viewed properties with James who was great, and Alec was really helpful too once we'd had our offer accepted. Theydons were far better than the agent we used to sell our previous property, and we won't hesitate to use them if / when we move again (hopefully not for a very very long time though!)

Excellent service at a great price from a local family run business. House marketed very professionally, with good photos. Always happy to listen and work with us in every way. Supported the house sale every step of the way, even when things were difficult and out of all of our control. Constant communication and always kept up to date by the team. Went above and beyond to help the sale complete. I would recommend them without any hesitation.

Alec and James were terrific to deal with from the beginning right through to the end. We had the best tenancy we could ever have with Theydons. They are incredibly professional, all the little and few issues we had were responded to and dealt with incredibly fast and above all their staff is incredibly friendly and warm. You could NOT go wrong whilst dealing with them on their lettings department, absolute legends and deserve every praise we could give them! Thanks you for taking care of us!

We placed an offer on a property and it was accepted. However, this particular estate agent requested an upfront fee of 1% immediately, in advance of any searches / survey report...etc. The estate agent told us "they only had one day to finalize" and that we would need to come into the office the next morning (despite the pandemic) to sign a document and pay the fee. We of course were not comfortable with this as it's completely non-market standard and very early on (i.e. before all the checks etc). The agent also claimed that it does not charge the Seller - we are not sure if this is true. We have therefore chosen not to go with this estate agent and hope that this review helps other prospective buyers, especially given there is no transparency of this alternative approach on their website.

I gave this business a 5 star rating because the owner of this venue was very professional and found me the perfect home for me and my family.

He was the first of any the agents to truly listen to us. But beyond being very professional we found him to be personable and extremely responsive. Wish I could give this estate agent 0 stars. Awful service from the agents themselves, never respond to emails or calls. The rep at the branch hung up on me twice and tried to claim the call dropped. I had to live with rats for over 6 months because they were to lazy to rectify the situation. Took them 3 weeks to return my deposit even though I left the property in a good condition. STAY CLEAR OF USING THIS ESTATE AGENTS

Good service. Respond to calls. Honest and old school. But please speed up the auctions. These slow bidders are allowed far too much time. It encourages silly gamesmanship and is very irritating.

Got in touch to rent a commercial property from them, Called 3 times, nobody got back to me, the 4th time I called, was told that they only let to established business, not to start ups, which I understand, I mentioned that I have another 5 different business, which are all well established, but in the different areas. I’m so disappointed because I didn’t even had the chance to mention what is my business plan, hope you guys have better training to hear what the customers have to say, it looked like you were doing a favour to me. Had a viewing booked, travelled over an hour to get to it and they had failed to inform me that the viewing was cancelled.

A very professional Estate agency. Payments are prompt and management service is excellent. They also keep on top of the letting laws that frequently change and keep us upto date. All repairs and certification requirements are done so less worrying and stress for us. Recommended to all Landlords.
