I was to see a property with my 3 years old daughter. It was December cold outside, and after 30 minutes waiting outside the agent call to rebook because she didn't have the keys from the property. Very unprofessional and disrespectful.

The friendly, knowledgeable and hard-working people at APS look after two properties for me in Essex. As an expat living abroad I am not able to manage them myself. The team at APS (an independent agency!) take the time to place the right tenant rather than it being simply a commission numbers game. No hidden fees and they always pick up the phone or call you back. No high turn over of staff either unlike some of the high street big name agencies. A nice agency to do business with and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Avoid this agency, they are very unprofessional! Just to make a little more clear, I had arranged a viewing for a property ( I told to my husband to take off and left my daughter with her nana) to be on time there, I was there with 5 minutes earlier and because I didn't found the number of the house, I call to let them know I am there. Guess what, the lady on the phone said my viewing is cancelled. Well why they didn't sent me a message at list with 1 h before, well juat they do not care about their customers. Just don't lose your time with them.

Does not accept part DSS even with guarantor, do not recommend this estate agents if your part or full DSS.

At first all was ok then when work had to be done to property the owner of Dixons sent her husband to do the work and it was poor. When we were leaving they rushed us out. Even though we paid rent on time and kept the flat very clean to the highest standard. During last winter we waited weeks for the boiler to be fixed. They held on to our deposit and now have to go to court.

Jacob Smith at Your Move has been absolutely fantastic and I can't recommend him enough. We put our apartment on the market in March and were inundated with viewings – at a time when there wasn't much demand for flats. It sold so quickly with multiple buyers putting in offers. After agreeing to the sale, we exchanged and completed less than three months later – making the stamp duty cut off!
