As a buyer of a property through David Andrew I found the team helpful, responsive, friendly and professional. There were a few challenges with solicitors etc that the team took control of to ensure things moved forward smoothly on both sides. Overall a really positive experience.

David Andrews really looks after you! They helped make our move go swimmingly such as by giving us all of the information we needed on our move in day. Natalie, who showed us our house, was informative and personable. Kate, who aided us with the paperwork, was transparent and friendly.

David Andrew handled the sale of my property and were helpful and proactive throughout. From valuation onwards I felt I was in good hands. They quickly secured a number of offers, and once the sale was agreed, Mark and Jana remained in regular contact to support and help keep the cogs turning during the ongoing conveyancing process. There are other good estate agents in the N4 area but I'm very pleased I chose these guys.

We engaged Winkworth Highbury for the sale of our flat. Our initial contact was Katherine, who was very professional in guiding us about the best way to sell the flat and in achieving the right price. The flat sold (with multiple offers) straightaway and Katherine provided all feedback and offers in a very timely manner and she guided us really well until we agreed on a sale. Once the offer was accepted, Michael was our main contact for the sale of our flat and he is still actively helping us look for a property to buy. Throughout the process, which turned out to be quite complicated and long winded (due to Covid and due to our onward purchase), Michael was very professional, responsive and reliable. He maintained regular contact with us as sellers as well as with our buyers and this was key in ensuring that the sale went through smoothly. When showing us properties to buy, Michael is always prepared with relevant information about the property and area and does not put any undue pressure on us. It was a pleasure having Michael working on our property transaction and we hope he can find the right house for us soon too! Will not make this mistake again. I had a series of problems after moving into the flat. Unfortunately, the company is representing a landlord from south-east asia who doesn't really care about our living conditions (probably just an investor), so it took them 8 months to fix an issue of water in the apartment smelling, after waiting for ages on the landlord's response and having a series of attempts to reduce the costs of a proper solution. Some of the initial issues were never resolved, even after almost a year now. I've also reported some additional concerns over 3 months now and they haven't made a step forward yet. Would only recommend LiFE residential if you wish to test your patience!

Thieves. Been trying to scam me for my deposit for months now. Trying to charge me for professional clean even though I hired professionals myself. They claim that scratching and marking on the walls were my fault even though they were there previously. Even trying to get me to replace white leather chairs that are 10 years old as they say that the leather looks worn haha. What a mess, stay away people!!

Honestly so disappointing with the service we received. We have just got our bond back (not as much as we should have) after over 3 months. First the life residential rep that was looking after us at renewal lied to us and said the landlord didn't agree to our new offer so we then had to find a new place to live with really short notice. We then found out from Stephen (sales rep) who I'm just going to call out is great and the only good thing about life that the Landlord had agreed all along. We wanted to stay and only moved out because they rep at life said we had to offer more money to renew when the Landlord was fine with the offer we made. We then had to pay for professional cleaning and all the check out fees plus the hassle of moving just because they lied to us. Then when trying to get our bond back good luck if you get Niomi because you're not going to get a quick response. We agreed to how much we would agree to coming out of our bond but 3 times she made mistakes and they took more from us. The staff here are the most unresponsive and are not helpful at all (except for Stephen). I highly recommend not using them as they will snake you out of money and not get back to you.

The move-in process was smooth, hassle-free and completed on the day that I required it. I couldnt really ask for much more. Having dealt with a number of rogue estate agents over the years, Stephen was excellent from start to finish. He made himself available at very short notice upon our first conversation to view the property and this exceptional attitude to customer service continued throughout. My only feedback to Life generally, not this office specifically, would be that you could streamline your processes even more which I believe would make your customer journey even better (e.g. providing a one page process flow showing the customer a standard customer journey and key points of action that you require and when, from point of offer to the moving in day, when they view a property/make an offer. This would save calls to agents asking for clarification on menial things - Stephen dealt with my questions brilliantly and promptly but he shouldn't need to be doing this).

Very poor service called was told to call back then the property I enquired about wasn’t available they bait and switched 2 properties, and the switch was the difference between a ex local authority, and a modern development.. Shame on you..

Was left waiting for viewing for 20mins then got told it was unavailable and apologised and disnt even show..

Called in about a property it felt like the agents just wanted to get off the phone as soon as they heard my budget.. please have time for the little guys.

I was homeless they rented me a tiny bedsit I was told I could move after a year that is why i took it ,then i was told they did not move people and I was stuck there for seven odd years and benefits paid them a lot of money for that room over the years .When I moved out despite leaving the electricity key in the room where it could easily be seen and cleaning the room thoroughly I was charged a hundred pounds for cleaning and twenty five for an electricity key i emailed them about this almost a year ago I received no reply to date. some of the office staff are professional and helpful but I ,m sorry to say it ,its hard work dealing with them .As of today 13/01/20 I have now received a reply regarding the rating given but not regarding my deposit money of which i believed £125 of it had been taken unfairly and incorrectly .A higher rating would have been given had I felt more fairly treated and respected over this and other issues mentioned .

We rented with Hotblack Desiato back in 2014 for 2 years, and I’d just like to say a belated thank you to Paulina, Jane and Zehra who were helping us throughout the two years as tenants. They were very professional, very responsive, and so kind and helpful from start viewing the flat to after we checked out / returning deposit. I would highly recommend them!

Rubbish. Waste of money and time. I have had everyone i would not want messaging me, none of them match my advert, my double shared room must be showing somewhere as a 1 bed flat. I have emailed Ideal Flatmate support team 3 times with no response. I paid £25 for a month and this is by far the worst experience i have had. Literally wasting so much of my time responding to people. I filled out everything so i would not get time wasters and so much of my time has been wasted.

Spent time creating a room listing that I was told was free. It took ages to go live, because of 'safety checking' (although how they checked it, I have no idea because no one contacted me). It was up for about a day, and one person contacted me, but now I am getting emails saying its a 'test' listing and that I have to pay £14. 99 per week or £28 per month to have my listing visible. I think this is false advertising and people should be wary of this site for that reason. Not impressed at all.
