Overall Dovile has proved to be highly responsive and a pleasure to deal with, She has handled everything we've put her way. Moreover, I actually got the impression she cared about our happiness in our new home - a bit of a rarity these days. She also proactively contacted us when this property came on the market knowing it would be of interest to us. The only downside was the referencing process - where the company JLL subcontracted to did a poor job and didn't read the supplied information properly.

My boyfriend and I recently bought a house in Greenwich with JLL. Our estate agent was called Ed and he did a fantastic job throughout the process. We had previously viewed a house with Ed and he actually identified this house for us as something we would be interested in. Based on his recommendation we went to see the property and absolutely loved it - so he really understood what we were looking for in a property. We were able to get viewings quickly which meant we got the opportunity to make offers on properties that would sell quick. We experienced delays with the sellers solicitors but Ed remained on top of the process at all times, chasing all relevant parties and keeping us in the loop. He was very responsive and facilitated passing messages between ourselves and the sellers. We were very impressed by JLL, and specifically Ed and couldn't be happier with the service we received. Thanks very much - we are very happy in our new home!

I had a fantastic experience with JLL and in particular the sales advisor Michael. The sale process was rather difficult due to various factors which were outside our control. Michael was always on top of everything and kept me informed throughout the entire process. Michael is also proactive and thinking out of the box to solve the challenges. Michael is very responsive, professional and efficient. Even after completion, he was still trying to assist me with a number of queries I had on the flat. Very impressed overall! I was lucky to have Michael as my sale advisor.

I rented my first property through Winkworth with my partner; we have always received very prompt and professional service whenever we have needed anything seen to in our flat. The staff are friendly and the system used for reporting maintenance is quick and easy. I would recommend Winkworth, and would definitely feel happy and secure using them again in future.

Having been a homeowner for a decade, my biggest reticence moving back into the rental market was responsiveness to managing and handling issues that arise. My concerns were quickly allayed with the excellent service received by Winkworth, which extended well past the initial move. Upon moving in, one of the rings on the gas hob wasn’t working. Before I raised the issue, Winkworth got in touch to advise me that an engineer would be arriving to replace the entire hob, following an inspection that they had carried out. Once the hob was replaced, I noticed a smell of gas in the house. I raised it with Winkworth and the same day, a gas engineer arrived to resolve the issue. When there was a leak under the sink and a plumbing issue in the bathroom, Abbi responded immediately and within a day, a plumber arrived to investigate. In the first four months into my 2-year tenancy, Winkworth’s property management, responsiveness, action taken and follow up has been first class. In particular, my property manager, Abbi (Greenwich branch) has been a joy to deal with. She is detailed, understanding and an excellent conduit between me and the property owner to reach a resolution, effectively and efficiently. Can’t recommend Winkworth highly enough.

Winkworth Greenwich have a great property management and sales team. Definitely recommended this agent! We were renting via Winkworth for over two years and couldn't agree more that the property management team (Megan) have been really responsive and helpful for any questions/issues. It has been a pleasure! Sadly we won't be interacting much now since we've bought the flat. Nick and Guy from the sales team are also responsive. The communication and process are clearly provided and transparent to us, making our first experience to buy a property smoother and hassle-free.

Winkworth have been excellent from the moment I engaged. Austin was excellent with his transparency and calm approach. Estate agents have a mixed reputation and can be considered pushy. Not the Winkworth team... I found the culture to be high-end, classy and integral. Alternatively, once we were in the property, the management team have provided a seamless service. No request is too big and in particular, Abbi acts with pace! Queries are answered, issues are resolved and regular updates happen throughout the process. I've had a great experience with Winkworth and recommend this business!

Myself and my wife recently purchased a house, through Truepennys. Have rented through Life residential over the past year and had many different property issues which it took time to resolve. We moved out of our old property in March and we are STILL outstanding our deposit money back after already paying a full new deposit amount and monthly rent with Life Residential. It is now MAY and we are still waiting. Dreadful company I cannot stress enough if you are thinking about moving in with Life Residential, DONT! our house was dirty when we moved in, was not clean, they did not hold up their end of their contract by cleaning and making the amendments we had asked. This is a breach of contract and we are currently taking the situation into our own hands. Life Residential are withholding our deposit for no reason at all. STAY AWAY FROM THIS JOKE COMPANY!

Extremely unprofessional!! Cancelled a viewing by text 10 mins before the time and didn’t bother to show up or answer calls. Very poor customer service.

Good luck if you ever need to get in touch with your property manager or request a repair once you move in. Terrible service. Not professional or responsive. We have been waiting over 5 months for a repair in our flat to take place. Multiple calls and emails over the course of several weeks are met with no response.

Extremely slow in answering to any written communication and arranging repairs requested by tenants. Problematic check-out process and inventory procedures, as they have different standards of quality checks at check-in and check-out. They will try to charge tenants for property issues pre-existent to move-in date and will delay the refund of the tenant deposit.

It was bad all way around: from contract signing to managing the property. But in the end my patience was over: it is been more than 2 months since we've moved out and they still haven't paid back our deposit. They don't answering emails and phones and simple don't care. Avoid at all costs

I have a tenancy agreement with Chase Evans who act as managing agents for my Landlord which started in October 2020 and from day 1 I’ve been reporting damp - they have changed my assigned managing agent at-least 2/3 times without appropriate communication which means my complaints have to start all over again back to square one. The agents and landlord have not yet sorted the damp issues even though fully aware of this before I moved in - confirmed by the previous tenant - (which they hid with furniture) the paint is darkened where the damp is and paint is literally falling off the wall where they painted over it - there was also previously mould in the bathroom which I asked to be removed before my move in date, when I arrived I see it was still there and that took awhile for them to sort out which again they just painted over and put in a cheap extractor fan that does nothing for the room. The landlord has put money before our health and chase evans have allowed it to happen. I would seriously avoid, nothing but issues with this place and I’m sure I will continue to have issues once we move out as we are now having to take this issue further. AVOID.

I had an appointment to view two flats in Pinnacle Apartments in Croydon. The agent did not turn up. After repeated calls to mobile and texts, there was no reply. I called the office number and was told the best way to contact him was via email when I was already at the property. This is a viewing for two properties at Pinnacle. It is extremely unprofessional to not get in touch or return my calls for a missed appointment. I would not deal with them again. Wonder what would happen if we had agreed on sale and they ghosted at that point.

My roommate and I were looking for an appartement to rent in London. We proceeded from France, until the move in date. It was a complicated situation, plus we are French students so we had a lot of agencies turning us down. However Margaret Lombard from Chase Evans really invested herself into our case and is the reason why we were able to find an appartement in London. Strongly recommend !

I have today completed on a property I've sold and would like to share my experience of working with Hampton International Greenwich - I could not possibly praise them too much - firstly, I find estate agents tend to lean towards the interests of the buyer over the vendor, but in Hampton's case I felt they were equally fair to both parties. We rented with Burgeon Properties and Shofique for 6 months. It was me and a friend renting 2 rooms in the same house. Initially he was lovely and pleasant and was very swift in responding to emails, which was great, as I need to find somewhere to live quickly. I was not living in London at the time so was unable to view the property however he was pushing me to view it constantly, even after I explained my situation multiple times. They lied on the property listing about multiple things: they asked for non-smokers and no couples. We needed a non-smoking property as my friend has severe asthma, 4 out of the 8 people living there were smokers. The property was a 6 bed, but often had 8 people living there, with 1 shower and loo, and a spare loo downstairs. The flat mates were nice enough and we were able to come to an agreement about the smoking. Once we were moved in and settled, and we began paying rent that’s when the good communication stopped. It would take a couple of days to get an acknowledgement of the message or email, let alone an actual resolution to the problem. In the time we were living in the property the fridge broke on the first day we moved in, the gas oven broke (as well as the current tenants mentioning there was an ongoing gas leak issue). The company also dislikes putting things in writing, maybe this is so you can’t argue with them later, it’s incredibly annoying. If they ever do anything or say they will do something, get them to PUT IT IN WRITING. If not, they will likely change their minds. The day we were due to move into the property I was on the way to London on the train when I was asked if I could meet 3hours earlier than the agreed upon time. I said no, after having explained (AGAIN) that I do not live in London and cannot just turn up at the drop of a hat. They were also incredibly un-helpful when the only lock (latch) we had on our door fell off. They blamed each tenant living in the property, when it was like that when we came home from work (someone trying to kick the door in). He was incredibly unhelpful when it came to fixing it, or giving us a key for the bottom lock on the door (deadbolt), which would have helped keep us secure as well as our belongings. It took a month for them to finally give us the key for this already fitted bottom lock. There was also a ridiculous price difference between the rooms, one we were renting for ~£600 p/m (bills included) and one we were renting for ~£620 p/m (bills included) the difference between the more expensive room was that it was smaller and had an extra wardrobe. That’s it. I’d have been better buying a wardrobe myself than paying £20 a month for the privilege of using it. However it was too painful to even attempt to negotiate a price with Burgeon properties. So we did not bother. However! Whilst we were trying to leave, our new property fell through so we had to stay for longer and past our initial move out date. Burgeon Properties was happy to help us stay where we were. On the whole I would advise AGAINST using Burgeon properties. The experience was all round very unpleasant and, for your sanity, just don’t bother. They only care about money which is handy or hideous depending on what you need. But if you have already signed up to live with them, don’t worry as you will have somewhere habitable to live, it just won’t be what you expected. (To top it all off we left the property early, and Burgeon asked for the keys back. We returned them and they said that if someone moved in earlier they would give us a refund for those days. I have it from one of the other tenants of the house that someone moved in a week early, no refund to be seen and no replies. Useless.)

Bad and disappointed experience with this properties company. Sent the holding deposit to them and got a reply that the room will be ready one week after. Told them many many times that I will be no where to stay after one week, so reconfirm and reconfirm with them the situation. They kept saying "everything is fine" for one whole week. However, got rejected one day before the date of moving in, which is a Sunday. As a matter of urgency, asked them for any alternative room choice. But none reply can be received from the company. They even ignored my message at the end. The only good thing about my experience is holding deposit was returned. But I haven't heard from them about alternative room choice... Strongly discourage anybody who are in hurry in finding a room to use, to trust this company. They will ruin your live for sure.

Highly rated for brilliant service. I had to move in a hurry during Covid-19. Christine and the team members at Hindwoods made this super easy to achieve. Excellent communication throughout the days from my first email to then moving in. It was clear from the start that Christine really cared about making sure that the tenancy process was made as simple as possible, even though, obviously, she went through the various checks involved. It was a matter of a few days from an in-person house viewing with masks to then being given the keys. The personalised service offered by Christine really took the stress out of a complicated move.

Best estate agent I ever rented off. They are honest and truly provide the same service before letting and after they do the job right. Any issue or repair was always dealt with straight away. We got our full deposit back once we left we had no problems throughout. I decided to rate after years as I have been dealing with such awful estate agents that the decent estate agents should be recognised.

Very bad experience with Scott. Returned the house cleaner then when moving in, but still didn’t get my deposit back in full. I have been receiving fake pictures to proof damages I didn’t make. Never want to deal with this agency again. Avoid if you can.
