Having had a few agents round to value our flat, Stanford's were head and shoulders above the rest from the get go. James was clear, honest, straight forward and human to talk to. When Jay took on our account, the same qualities applied. Stanford's is an estate agent that you can have an actual normal conversation with, with honesty, calmness and a sense of humour. I never once felt like they were trying to spin me a line or pull a fast one. The people at this branch are so lovely and helpful, not only did they help me in terms of my journey but their local knowledge also meant that my move was quite well-informed because I was able to navigate the local area really well. Forest Hill is quite unique in London in that the local ethos is for it to be a town-esque area. As such, it's quite different from other areas in London where there are similarities. As such, having the guidance and support of the folks at this branch really supported me not only in my property-move but also for someone becoming a part of the local community.

Having bought and sold through Hunters Forest Hill I can't recommend them enough. Dave was the most realistic estate agent we approached regarding valuation of our property, talked us through the process of the sale etc and gave us regular updates as to how the market environment would impact our chances of sale. Once viewings started to come in, Sarah and Joseph were fantastic at keeping us appraised of how the viewings went and whether it was realistic to expect an offer. Acorn Forest Hill has a great team. What we appreciated the most about Acorn was their responsiveness and reliability. They are there all the way through our transaction. Huge thank you to Adam for working tirelessly from the very first call to find the best tenants for us. Adam made sure he was always available to us and dedicated hard work to get us wonderful tenants, from the very first viewing! He kept us up to date regularly and handled the whole process with outstanding professionalism. Paris, our property manager, has also been extremely helpful throughout the process. Every question we've had for her has been addressed in a clear manner and she's been a fantastic middle person between us and the tenants. She was also very responsive to all of the typical manic messaging between landlord and tenant at the beginning of the process, making things run a lot smoother! Both employees have made us feel like they genuinely care about both us and the tenants, instead of just another deal/client for them.

Absolute disgrace of an agency. Avoid at all costs to rent with them! We multiple issues in our flat that were never/badly taken care of, despite us making many complaints: mould that caused a allergic asthma, broken windows, blocked front door, broken door handles on several doors in the flat, broken water pump, water leaks to the floor downstairs... just to name a few. Our pleas to lower the rent during the first lockdown were simply ignored... oh and did I say that our deposit wasn‘t returned until 2 months after we had moved out, after they tried to blame some of issues in the flat on us? Do yourself the favour and avoid these highly unprofessional people. Btw @ Daisy’s, saying „I‘m sorry you feel this way“ is not how you take accountability or apologise to someone...

Absolutely terrible. They bullied my tenant (she was in tears after one phone call from their agent), email after email goes unanswered and you are really left wondering what on earth they do to deserve payment. They didn't even tell me that the tenant's contract had expired. They paid a contractor to undertake works on the property and then did pretty much nothing to hold the contractor accountable for the works. I'm now in dispute to get my money back since the contractor has not carried out the works that Daisy Lets paid them and am getting next to no support from this unprofessional bunch.

Avoid this agency as tenant/landlord for lettings. Had them as a tenant for 10 years. They will do as little as possible going to the extend to ignore emails and calls. - When leaving the property, II had to send 15 emails over 2 months to retrieve the money that they owed me (and this wasn't even the deposit). They replied maybe to 1 email out of 3 at best. - They sent electricians with no notification and gave them the keys which they used in an early morning, in a middle of covid restrictions on top of that. When nicely asking them about that by email in order to understand, of course Daisylets just ignored the conversation - They now have a third party call center which mean you can get them over the phone unless they feel like calling you back - The list is long.. I am not sure how cost effective they are but as landlord, avoid them anyways! As tenant, if you are stuck with them, my advice is to develop a relationship with the landlord in case your issue become too critical. (note that I posted my previous comment with the wrong account and had to remove and repost it.. please do not hesitate to post back your answer which I will be pleased to answer..)

When we (girlfriedn and I) were looking for a place Daisy lets was great in accommodating and meeting our needs. As tenants there were a few initial problems (broken dishwasher and very old refrigerator) when we moved in but Maxine was able to rectify it quickly. She was in my personal experience, helpful and understanding. Which is why I dont understand the low ratings. Probably differs for everyone but so far we have a good experience with them as tenants.

These are the dodgiest estate agentsEVER! they have been nothing but trouble and don’t seem to have any morals! Absolute thieves.

As a distant landlord I have used Taaksvale’s Guaranteed Rental Scheme for many years. Stumbling across some of the other reviews on this site I felt compelled to offer my own review. Jas and the guys have been fantastic. They have handled my properties excellently, removing all of the hassles and paying a solid, fair rent. I can’t think of a single instance where they’ve been anything less than massively helpful.

Please, do not deal with these people. They are running a bed with a shed in connection with their properties. They have got a very nasty landlady who will bully and threaten you repeatedly. They will not refund your deposit. The whole business is basically, corruption going on with their landlords/landladies. The council knows about them. I would not recommend them to anyone at all.

As a landlord Sure 2 Move have let and managed my property for the last four years. Mark and Susan have been a pleasure to deal with. Always very professional and approachable, they have in the past found me tenants very quickly. I would definitely recommend them.

i went to sure 2 move they are kind and caring people and you can see that is not only a business for them they care about the tenants and the landlords . they are the ones i will use for my next house and i will advice all my friends to go there for good service and a human treatment . marguerite bassomb
