After 2 estate agents and no luck I was recommended to Ryan Morgan at Truuli Croydon... Ryan was, friendly, transparent and very knowledgeable on both the market and selling homes. We finished our tenancy on 19/04/2018 and until this day 05/06/2018 they did not give back our deposit, don't reply e-mails and say that the only branch that can solve the issue is 1 hour away from our home, when we have one just next door. I would never rent a place managed by them again. Oh, look at that! They replied to me! 2 years later! hahahahah

We hand delivered a new direct debit form when they increased the rent by £10.00 pound to the branch manger. We were reassured everything is fine and no further information is required from us. So we went to holiday. On our return we received letter saying we didn't paid full rent and had to pay a fine. It took several calls and visit with branch manager to convince we are not at fault and shouldn't pay fine. When we left the property after 6 months they gave negative feedback to our new Letting Agent saying we didn't pay additional £10.00 on time on one occasion. How disorganised, low, and unprofessional! Nearly made us homeless. It was 5 years ago but still annoys me until now. This letting agent deserve negative 5 stars.

Doug at the east croydon branch is phenomenal. I required a very quick turnaround in letting a new house and he just made it happen. He has a no BS methodology which I really appreciated. Even though he didn't know me at the time he really stuck his neck out for me to ensure we was housed in 2 weeks!! Which is an unbelievable turnaround. I have mixed reviews regarding rest of staff at Bairstow Eves. Some helpful, some not so much. When I called a few times with questions, they seemed unconcerned and unwilling to help, however my experience with Doug outweighs that hence the 5 stars. My advice, ask directly for Doug!

We have put our trust to sell our property beginning of 2021 with Townsends and Jordan Taylor was the one who handled the sale and all the communications followed. Jordan has the best customer service anyone can be dealing with, very quirky guy. All of the team in Towsends in George St. Croydon Are all very professional. I can recommend their service. Complete unprofessional humans. They NEVER respond to emails or fix anything that needs fixing. For months the flat below me had no heating. The tenant has 3 small children and all the emails, texts and calls were being ignored. The tenant then went and bought an electric fire to warm the flat and it CAUGHT FIRE last night. My family and I had to flee via the back door and under a garden fence. When one of these “agents” arrived I asked if was with the agency he said no he wasn’t but the tenant identified him. He then become very rude and aggressive when confronted about the broken heating. He denied any emails and asked to see prof. I showed him many unanswered emails I myself have sent. He then said aloud that my family upstairs are no concern of his as we’re not his tenants. Thank god out home was unharmed but it could of been a completely different story!! Absolutely disgusting attitude and behaviour.

Aaron at Smartspace is a wonderful asset to your team! Every time I’ve had a problem in my flat he is very attentive to my needs. He carries out professional inspections and takes the time to listen to what I have to say regarding any concerns.

I found a property online and schedule a viewing which was very smooth. Ibrahim was very responsive, honest, professional and managed to answer all my questions on the spot. Smartspace seems to be a transparent letting agency who are honest and offer quality properties and hire reliable and responsive staff.

Me and my partner just got our first ever flat, and doing it through Foxtons has made it so much easier. Our letting negotiator/agent was Salonee and she was very kind, super helpful and always kept us updated with everything. We are very very thankful to her for all of her help. From calling the office to book a viewing (it surprised me that they actually do viewings at 6pm and after that) all the way to moving in was just a very exciting and easy process. Overall the whole thing was really pleasant and smooth I would 10/10 recommend Foxtons, wether you’re first time renters or just simply looking to move somewhere else. Just to add another thing that we found really good as well: During the viewings we did not feel pressured into getting the property at all, and Salonee was super easy to talk to all the way through the process of renting and getting moved in. Our ‘moving in pack’ also had a lovely little card in it that was hand written by Salonee, which we appreciate as much as all her patience and help☺️

After trying most of the estate agents in Croydon, I happened to see the flat advertised by Foxtons based in Croydon. One of the letting agents (Salonee Jamnadas) facilitated the entire process from viewing to move-in. Given I relocated from Milton Keynes and Croydon is a new area for me, Salonne advised on renting the best-suited property considering it is not far from the amenities and transport links. It is important to mention, she showed professional behaviour and put up with my inquisitive nature. Without a shadow of a doubt, Salonee is the most knowledgeable letting agent in the Croydon area. I rate her service 10/10. A big thank you, Salonee.

He is a superb negotiator and couldn't have asked for anyone else to go through this journey with. Our experience was made simpler as Emanuel went above and beyond to deliver us such lovely service. Originally I inquired for a let property that was no longer available, However, Emanuel was suggestive and quick to respond. He showed us another property which we fell in love with immediately. The property was beyond what I had in mind and better than the one originally enquired for. He's communication was excellent and well devoted to deliver excellence. Avoid if at all possible. I received written confirmation our offer had been accepted on a property being listed by this estate agent. From that point onward I was lied to non stop by branch manager Kevin. Everytime I tried to get in touch with him to get an update on why the sale was stalling and the survey was cancelled, I was met with lies and evasion. He didn't return my calls, texts and emails for two weeks. Finally I found out from the girl who works in the office that the house was under offer with someone else. Im not sure if he wasn't able to tell me himself or if he was being intentionally deceitful. Had he been honest we could've moved on with our search or even increased our offer. Anyway I know we forgive the slick antics of some estate agents because they hold the monopoly in the market, but this was a bridge too far. Their banner reads "transparency, honesty, trust" what a joke.

I have been a tenant of a managed property of top move now for 4 years. I have had enough of there lies and broken promises. they say they will fix problems and help us as tenants but never do. I had to wait for my toilet to be fixed for over 3 months. Do not use this agent if you will be renting it through them.

Top move estate agents did it for me. Helped me with my accommodation and took care of everything professionally. I enjoyed their customer-staff relationship. They are doing a good job. Thanks a lot guys. I will surely use this agency over and over again.

This agency advised me to let my property to a tenant they vouched for. Against my better judgement, I trusted the agency who gave the tenant a glowing reference. Needless to say, the tenant stopped paying rent, destroyed my property and had to be evicted. The whole process cost me a lot of money and stress. Top move did not vet this tenant properly. An affordability check would have shown they couldn't afford the rent. I also imagine that this type of behaviour by the tenant had taken place before, and following up references would have uncovered this. A very unprofessional agency.

I have total confidence and peace of mind having Croydon Estates to manage my properties. They actually care about their tenants and landlords and carry out their business with integrity. Have lived in a flat they manage for nerly 7 months and they have inspected twice already. The agent is rude and tool photos of personal belongings in the house and then emailed me questions what they where for. They also overcharge for everything like most agents. If you don't want to live under the control of what can only be described as an overprotective mother then don't use gateway lettings

i was a tenant of one of their properties for 5 years and i found everybody i encountered whether it be the agents or contractors very professional friendly and experienced and also went above and beyond to make you comfortable and enjoy your home. i would highly recommend this estate agency.

Gateway letting found me suitable tenants within a reasonable amount of time and were able to select reasonable quility tenants as well. My flat has been tenanted for the past 5 years with no noticable gaps between tenants. My tenants have also been happy and any items discovered during inspections were raised to me so I could address them to ensure the property remains in good keep and my tenants happy.
