" (UPDATE) This review above was left solely because I was requested via email by a Dexter staff member to leave a review has he needed it for a meeting regarding his trail period at Dexter Muswell Hill. I was literally just trying to put in a good word to help a man in a job he was obviously keen to keep. I will state that I have decided to reduce my 5 star review to 1 star. Why? I must say our experience has been terrible. We took the day out to view a property, and after the viewing and a brief conversation regarding referencing, we have had no response since to the many calls, messages and emails left. The one email received was this request to leave a Google review in favour of this staff member, but after that we have been totally blanked. It takes nothing to simply let people know the outcome or update them on a viewing. I know there are many good reviews for this company, and it is one of the reasons we proceeded with them, but for us its a poor poor service. I hope they will treat others better that they have treated us.

Luke has been amazing in his help with searching for a rental. A great service and always obliging with my many questions. When viewing a property yesterday, he was prompt, and extremely helpful. I’d definitely recommend this Estate agent for any and all needs. 👍👍👍 Updated a month later: initially great but never heard back from Luke in the long run. Such a shame as it started off so well. Even more of a shame is I bumped in to him outside Dexters and he said hello. Yet didn’t have the courtesy to come back to me with regards to the property. Such a shame!

I just sold my second property through Martyn Gerrard, and they were a pleasure to deal with as usual. Chris Antoniou the Sales Manager was very helpful with all my requests, especially since I was doing this remotely from abroad due to the pandemic. He dealt with the handover from the previous tenants, checked in on the property when it was unoccupied, gave good advice, secured some good offers, chased all parties as needed, and communicated promptly and clearly throughout. Highly recommend their services.

I recently bought a property through Martyn Gerrard Muswell Hill, and Chris Antoniou was the sales manager on the transaction. From the onset Chris was very helpful and professional. He always made time to answer my queries in detail and provided regular updates on the progress of the transaction. He was very efficient at all times from liaising with the vendor to negotiate the sales price of the property and throughout the transaction so it progressed quickly (he promptly issued a memorandum of sale, removed the property from the market and went the extra mile to speak with both my solicitors and the vendor's solicitors to ensure that all queries were answered and followed up many times on outstanding issues so that exchange could happen).

Extremely happy with the service and results I got from Martyn Gerrard in Muswell Hill. They let my flat for a good price in difficult times. They were extremely professional, keeping me updated every step of the way. In particular I was most impressed with my case handler Anthony Whyte who was very helpful and professional throughout. Would highly recommend!

I can't give 0 stars. Avoid that agency for any price. Very bad tendency service. Before you sign the contract they treat you like King after you nobody. They try to force us to pay the debt of landlords. Almost every month they try to force us to pay rent early than contract says, explain that the landlord needs to pay the mortgage on time. Almost two years were like in hell. 12/12/2020 we get back freedom from them and was not easy. After one month they try to take from us almost £2000 for not existing damage. Where we move into the flat we need to make all decoration painting, we buy new American style fridge with we left in the flat all white goods have all between 10-20 years old. Please be careful before you sign any contract with that agency. I live in London over 14years and I have never so many problems and stress, even if you think all is over they still try to get money from your pocket. It is not worth I will prefer to be homeless than using that agency again. I just looking for the legal advice to post all emails from that agency including email where we are was forced to pay the debt of the landlord all we will post here as soon as possible.

Great service, Andrijana was very helpful and available for us.

Andrijana and Mouna were very helpful and responsive to all my emails as a tenant looking for a place to rent. A few technical issues but it wasn't their fault and they were more then happy to chase and keep me updated through the whole process. Would recommend and use again if needed in the future.

From a residential buyer's perspective, it seemed to me that Barnard Marcus did an excellent job. Leon was a calm hand on the tiller managing a lengthy chain through to exchange over several months, and I am grateful to him for his calm diplomacy throughout.

I found this agent very responsive in dealing with my purchase. Always kept me updated on progress more than my solicitor did which made it a very easy transaction. I would sell my property with them if I was planning to.
