We’ve had the pleasure of working with Rhys over the past few months to buy a family home in Colliers Wood and I simply couldn’t recommend him highly enough. I purchased a 3-bed house in Colliers Wood in April 2021 and they were excellent to deal with, particularly Rhys and James. They were consistent, clear, calm and easy to get in touch with, and we felt up to date throughout the process. Would happily buy or sell with them again.

We recently exchanged contracts on our house sale and our property was only on the market for 4 days when the right offer came through and then we went on to exchange contracts in record time. I contacted Sharpes regarding renting a room I had seen online. After this I was contacted by Jan who was pleasant and professional. In many ways he was very accomodating and even arranged for multiple viewings so that I would feel comfortable with my decision. Would definitely recommend!

I had a viewing on Saturday for a one bedroom flat just near Wimbledon. The viewing was done by a young man by the name of Jan, he was excellent! To book the viewing was very simple and straightforward, I had a conversation over the phone about the property I was interested in and the business seemed to care for my needs. This business is very professional, they arrived perfectly on time for my viewing and let me take my time around the property without feeling rushed, unlike some other estate agents. Although I did not go forward with the property, I would highly recommend Sharpes to anyone who is looking for somewhere new!

Have interesting listings, but not friendly on the phone.

On the whole we found CSJ very frustrating to deal with. They were fine with moving in and really quite helpful when it came to moving out. However, during tenancy they were hard to get hold of and frequently left us without response to issues. The best (though not only example) being that in Autumn 19 we made them aware of and asked them to fix a damp/mold issue in the bathroom. Despite raising this multiple times we didn't really get a response until in autumn 2020 we were told by one person there that they couldn't get sign off on getting something done about it. Appeared to blame one of his colleagues for the issue as if that was a justifiable excise. Was not a pleasant thing to live withnfor more than a year. would say they failed in their duty to represent their tenants here. When we moved out, it was promptly sorted within days for the new tenants. Quite disappointing.

I recently found a flat to rent via CSJ and I just wanted to give a special shout out to Faham for making the whole process of getting the place very quick and smooth. After dealing with multiple other agents in finding a new place I can say that CSJ were far better than others in the Colliers Wood / Tooting areas. Thanks so much!

I've just completed a purchase using C James (I used them 10 years ago as a first time buyer and now back in the area used them again) and it was another great experience. I had some difficulties with COVID during the purchase which caused a delay of several weeks on my side, but Bob at C James kept the seller onside when he could have easily (and understandably) walked away. Really appreciate the work they put in to get the deal over the line, even taking on some of the expense caused by my delay. Would definitely use them again.

C James & Co were very helpful in the purchase of or home. From the initial viewing all the way to the completion of the purchase. They were always professional, very responsive via phone or email and helped us during the entire process. They have years of experience and very good knowledge of the local area. I purchased a flat through C James in 2004 and for some years rented it through them too. I had no hesitation when selling the flat to ask them to handle the sale. Bob Mash was the key contact and he went above and beyond in helping me get it over the line. He was always available (even on days off) to talk through issues, was helpful and responsive to my issues and equally helpful and responsive to the purchasers's needs too. He helped the whole process go through very smoothly and I can honestly say, having bought and sold properties throughout may life (I am 67 now), that Bob was exceptional in his service. Always cheerful, helpful and efficient I can't recommend his firm more highly.

Avoid Ellisons own brand Essential Oils... they are not therapeutic grade. I sent off the Rose Centifolia and Tea Tree for analysis as I could smell they were not right. The Rose was in fact a dilution, but more concerning the Tea Tree had chemical compounds carcinogenic to skin- more consistent with a burning oil. NOT skin safe!! I volunteer in a hospice and sometimes treat children....I would never purchase oils from them again. Purple Flame supply Ellisons oils...i’d already been warned about the quality of their oils. Avoid at all costs!!!!

Avoid at all costs!! Horrible experience with filthy flat, blood stained mattresses, oil stains on the kitchen walls and door handles falling off. Mismanaged the deposit and allowed money to be stolen from me! Do not trust these crooks!!

Phil is extremely pleasant and I would definately recommend this letting agency. They are fair and do not rip you off! Anytime we got in contact for whatever reason we have had swift replies.
